Yeah, but the use of the slavery-guilt card couldn't be used because of the skin optics and the bad vibe
that could cripple Hillary's political future.. Then along came Trump and it was an ideal opportunity.
It's not real in the context that anyone of political stature being angry about slavery and somehow, connecting
to their rivals, it's just a choice of ammunition that do optimum damage.
However, there is a genuine feeling in some areas of the Left that people of colour should be held perceived
differently because of reasons out of their control. It's like having a pet and because you believe they're unable
to grasp an imaginary situation, you show an attitude of patronising superiority because you inwardly know you
really are superior to that pet.
It's like saying Pedro the Mexican should be allowed in the US illegally because swimming pools need cleaning
and it's natural that Pedro can only do that type of labour.
