Yes, Ms. G. it is very harmful to children, yet some parents allow their children, or grandchildren to 'play' with them.
It's become the new babysitter.
Children will sit and stare at the phone for hours. That right there should tell you there is something affecting their brain. This is not 'normal' for a child.
