I hope Edward Zielinski gets life in prison! There is no excuse to treat another human that way! 
As for the "slaves", as I was reading the article what came to mind was these people must have been very talented to make greeting cards under such terrible conditions. Imagine what they could do if they were put in a "happy" environment.
