[Germany] Man on the run after attacking five people with a knife in Munich.

Quote:Man on the run after attacking five people with a knife in Munich.

'With police commencing a manhunt for the suspect, people near the Rosenheimer Platz area of
Munich were urged to stay indoors...'

Yes indeed, stay inside and cower. Welcome to Europe.

Quote:'...A man is on the run after attacking several people with a knife in the German city of Munich and
escaping on a bicycle. Police say five people were hurt in the incident at Rosenheimer Platz near
the city centre, but none of their injuries are life threatening.

The suspect, who is unshaven and appears to be in his 40s, has short blond hair and was wearing
grey trousers and a green jacket at the time.
His motive remains unclear.

People in the area were warned to stay inside after the attack and police tweeted they were looking
for the man "with all available police forces"...'
SOURCE:

I recall the halcyon days when Germany was known for it's business and industrial efficiency, it's large
glasses of beer and the popuation's ability to grab sun-loungers when on holiday.

France had the monopoly on romance with it's street cafes and bistros wafting with gorgeous aromas
and faint accordian music.

Spain clicked it's castanets and danced in the setting sun of the mediterranean, the throng of the flamenco
demanding one's blood to heat with passion.
Stereotyping, you think?!

Is it stereotyping to now consider these countries as places where trembling citizens cower in their homes
as faceless security stormtroopers march along the streets in search of weekly knife/gun/bomb-wielding
religious zealots?

The boiling frog is now dry.
