What an interesting name. "Takiyah" appears to be derived from "taqqiyah", an Arabic word meaning "to conceal the truth", i.e. "lie", if it can be used to one's advantage.
Imagine that. Her very name is kinda "Lie to Gain Advantage".
SO, Miss Takiyah... how are you at dodging books? I ask because it looks like one has just been thrown at you.

ETA - According to the article, Miss Takiyah was a member of the Workers World Party. Do y'all know who and what they are? I do. Wait long enough, and even the deepest cover will get exposed. There should be no doubt in folks' minds who is behind this unrest in the US now, all the while those behind it are pointing at Russia (no longer the communist Soviet Union, by the way) screaming "Lookey over there! The commies are coming, the commies are coming!" to distract the masses from the fact that the commies are already here, and hard at work destabilizing America.
They had a list of demands. Can we recall what sort of people make lists of demands? All of the demands were political. They were backed by violence. Do you know what people are called who use violence to further political goals?
Terrorists.
I can't for the life of me understand why the "demonstrators" are not being charged with terrorism as well.
So now we have terrorists AND communists in our midst wreaking violence, and the communists and terrorists are more often than not combined in the same bodies, and are certainly working together to bring down the US even when they aren't in the self-same body.
Folks sometimes wonder why I still have the occasional nightmare.

The protester who climbed a ladder to help bring down a Confederate soldier statue was arrested Tuesday, and Sheriff Mike Andrews said his office will pursue felony charges against others.
“Let me be clear, no one is getting away with what happened,” Andrews said.
Takiyah Thompson, a member of Workers World Party and student at N.C. Central University, was arrested after activists held a press conference at NCCU Tuesday afternoon.
In a release Thompson said she was the one who tied a rope around the soldier’s neck so that others could pull the statue to the ground.
The protest left The Confederate Soldiers Monument, dedicated on May 10, 1924, headless on the grass.
Thompson was charged with participation in a riot with property damage in excess of $1,500 (Class H Felony) and inciting others to riot where there is property damage in excess of $1,500 (Class F Felony), the Sheriff’s Office said.
She also was charged with disorderly conduct by injury to a statue and damage to real property, both misdemeanors.
