First of all, is this "fact" that the kid has actually killed animals?
Or is it just opinion, poking fun at the kid?

I believe it's a nod towards the Dahmer-path that many psychopaths set out on.

They start with torturing small animals and then killing them.
After a while, there's a period where they re-build their skeletons and then the
yearning for the power they perceive is not enough to be fulfilled my lower creatures.

But Blackburn is just catering for a certain audience and implying that if President
Trump is such a nasty white man, then surely his son must be starting out on the
road to being just as cruel.

This is really about mature accountability in a media that called for responsibility in
