Story of child dying in Santa's arms can't be verified

All I see here is that Santa didn't have permission, or wanted to protect the privacy of the people involved.  If true, their son just died.
I can understand them not wanting to have the media all around during a time of mourning.

Not saying it's true, but not saying it isn't either.
