I used to love Halloween when I was younger, but the only thing it brings into my life these days is trouble.

One or two weeks of folk walking doing crazy and sometimes downright mean ass crap, is enough for me.

At least Christmas is supposed to about love, peace, harmony, and being jolly. Though the holiday does add to my woes also, because some people engage in way too much good cheer, and some take instead of give. But all in all I like event that will make people enjoy the company of others.

So far I haven't been called out, but it is still a bit early for the call outs. On the holidays they usually start coming in after the bars close, or the next day.

I was speaking for myself and my creepy decor obsession, the mysterious feel and spookyness of it all.
Here it’s mostly pumpkin patches, carnivals and family time.

I know Christmas is supposed to be about all the nice things and I do love to see people happy and excited over it but it never has really been my thing.

I guess being in a small town all my life and not having the kind with of career where I am up close and personal with that sort of behavior, I’ve never really seen that side of it. I can’t even imagine what that’s like but can see how it would change a person’s perspective.

I already keep my watch set to DST year 'round, because it's the time the sun says it should be! Jumping back and forth between real time and fake time is and has always been sheer madness!

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
