Which ones of the 10 commandments have you broke? (If any)
#1
I have never made 2 Rogue Nation threads within a single day. But today i am doing just that.

I understand that this is a delicate issue, sensitive things, extremely personal stuff. No one is forcing you to reply, no one is forcing you to even read. At first, i planned to use King James Version (KJV) of The Bible, but the language is fucking bonkers. So i am using Modern English Version (MEV). I am not religious, at all. But i find this topic interesting. So here we go, then. I will list the commandments, followed by my personal standpoint.

1. You shall have no other gods before Me.

- Only God is God. All other things, beings, entities, whatevers, are not God. So i have not violated against this one.

2. You shall not make for yourself any graven idol, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water below the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of them who hate Me, and showing loving kindness to thousands of them who love Me and keep My commandments.

- I bow to no one. I have absolutely no use for a graven image of God, because it would not be God, only an Earthly image of God, made by a mortal man. So i have not violated against this one.

3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold guiltless anyone who takes His name in vain.

- Oh for God's sake! What do you think? God damn! I have violated against this one on a daily basis.

4. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, or your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or your sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

- Sunday is a day. Just like all other days. Days of the week, calendars, and time itself, are concepts wholly created by humans, and as such, not holy. So i have violated against this one.

5. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

- To hell with them both, i don't care. Violated against this one.

6. You shall not murder.

- Murder for money. I was maybe 12 years old or so. These birds kept eating strawberries from my grandma's and grandpa's fields. So they promised me 10 marks for every bird i shoot. A bird flew and sat on a tree branch. I aimed. Pulled the trigger. The bird dropped, like a rock, dead on the ground. I swear to God, that a part of my soul died that exact moment. I still keep apologizing, seeking forgiveness, from birds, when i see them. Out loud. Like "I am sorry, bird, for what i did to your kind. I understand that i am evil" And doing that alone, like when walking, can make other people look at me like i am insane. Then i look at them back like "I am insane, so what? deal with it, normoloid"

7. You shall not commit adultery.

- I have never committed adultery, and i never will.

8. You shall not steal.

- During the early years of this millennium, i was smoking a lot of weed. I was young and naive, and had all kinds of utopias and strange ideas in my head. So i went on a crusade to bring down Nestle. Stole a kit-kat bar. I really dislike adrenaline. But sometimes my body produces adrenaline without my permission. I can't steal. It was good chocolate though. And Nestle did not fall, for some reason.

9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

- Snitches get stitches. I have not violated against this one.

10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.

- I do not feel envy. At all. Ever. Sister is like that too. I think it is a genetic thing, combined with the way we were raised. I have not violated against this one.

So, there. I think i will not be going to heaven after my journey here is finally complete some day.

Hey! I totally missed the joke. This is my thread, therefore i demand an explanation! minusculenonono

But i am not stupid. It is 2022, and the term "stupid" has been cancelled as offensive. I identify myself as cognitively challenged.

Take my word for it brother it is a real thing and it is some fucked up shit, it is worse than 2 girls and a cup, and unforgiving like Catholicism. Truth be told, there are some things you cannot unsee.

If I may, don't substitute the word 'donkey' for 'ass' either. There's a world of hurt out there and as you say...

I once wanted to add one of those *mind blown* cartoon gif animations to a post. Had a brain fart and google image searched *head blown* and that was a bad idea. Don't do it.

On the subject of the Commandments, I'd wager I've broken only a couple of them. Certainly not adultery, covetousness, dishonouring
my parents murder, worshipping another God or bearing false-witness... haven't done any of them.

Now I am curious, can donkeys really sin. I'm googling that shit.

I am not google. But i have plenty of opinions and even more useless time.

Sin is a concept invented by humans. Just like humans created religions as a tool to control the masses and promote war and violence and sexual perversions.

Therefore, a donkey can not sin, no matter what the donkey does.

I have broken every commandment. It's not something that I'm proud of, just was rebellious as they come for a long, long time. Rebellious against everyone and everything- including God.

The thing is I don't think I would have become the person I am now without having been that rebellious commandment breaker so even if I could take it all back I'm not sure that I would. Our actions and experiences change us, in my case for the better I think.

All of them? Wow... But i think you are a great person. As far as i know.

Are you sure that our actions and experiences change us? I do all kinds of actions and have all kinds of experiences, but i do not think that i change. I am not really too satisfied with the way i am, and have been, for a very, very long time now.

Yep, all of them unfortunately. And yes our actions and experiences do change us, some more than others. Some changes good and some bad, some minute changes and some tremendous. If someone who knew you as a very young person and had not seen you since then were to spend a day with you now getting to know you all over again they would notice the many changes even though you might not notice them in yourself. We change because actions and experiences change our perspectives even if ever so slightly. That is why many feel (myself included) that experiences are far more important than possessions. When we accumulate things it might change other's perspectives of us but when we experience things it changes our perspectives of the world.

I have thought that life experiences come your way, and the elements of fate do their dance.

I have seen the difference just a second can make in an outcome. I will never forget the feeling of the sharpness of the air that grazed my face as a projectile past my head.

I would have been dead, or a vegetable, if I had not moved my head at just that second in just the right direction. I never saw it coming. It changed me.

I did not know the person that attacked me, and he did not know me. The person was certified as criminally insane. But for one millisecond our lives were interconnected at a level that would decide our outcomes, on a life or death spin of the wheel of fate.

Time, temperament, temperature, location, activity, the number of variables that can influence an outcome makes almost any outcome a miracle.

So I think we all change to some degree, regardless how small, with almost every passing second of everyday.

For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not.

Yet I still post.  tinyinlove

I agree. I never thought of it that way. You are right.

I agree again. UNLESS the possession happens to be a computer with an internet connection. Then the possession is more important! tinybiggrin

Yes, it changed you. I know. Things of this nature are extremely profound.

When i was drunk and jaywalking, August of 2020, and got hit by a bus, due to me totally not giving a damn about the bus, and i broke my hip and arm and got bruises... It changed me.

I have always been a deep person. More a curse than a blessing. I am prone to overthinking and that causes anxiety and confusion. I could have been dead, or a vegetable. Instead, i was a prisoner of my own home for 3 months, intense physiotherapy like 8 times a day, learning to walk again. And then completely recovered. Why? That is what i want to know. That is what i always want to know, about everything. Why? It takes me a couple of minutes to write this post. During that time frame, me writing this post, somewhere, on this planet a perfectly good person dies or becomes a vegetable in an accident. And i am God damn scumbag. Why was i saved? Are there protective forces, like guardian Angels, who got my back? Or are there evil forces who want to keep me here to feed them with my mental suffering and struggle? Was i saved? What if i died and got sent directly to hell with crisis after crisis after crisis going on around me. Why am i writing this post? What am i trying to achieve with this post? Maybe i just want to be heard, or read in this case. Why am i even here? Why are you? What is the purpose of everything? Does any purpose even exist? Do i exist? And if so, Why?

I think that with all the massive, insane amounts of contemplating i do.. daily and nightly... whenever i reach an answer, the answer either sprouts 2 or more new questions, or the answer is faulty to begin with. I am the definition of confusion. And i want to know why. tinyangry

And for God's sake, DON'T preface the phrase "donkey show" with the word "Tijuana" in the Google search you are not doing. You will never be the same if you do!
