Oh, by the way, the former Navy Lt., is Ron DeSantis, Gov. of Florida.

DeSantis has made choices that have greatly benefited me, and some of his decisions, not so much.

DeSantis is a diehard politician. He knows very well how to play the game. He will run for President in 2024, he has been laying that foundation for a long time now.

Having said all that, I will also say, he is not the worst choice, but he is not going to work any miracles, or save us from a corrupt and over leaning government.

Wow, I did not know that either. Impressive.
Thanks for sharing

As with any politician, I am sure he is not perfect.

BUT, it appears he may be the best chance/choice for the Republicans in 2024

Trump need not run
As with Hillary, he has way too much baggage and unfortunately, the MSM is nonstop with their attacks on him.
They would be even more relentless with the negative attacks than they are now

I agree. That is how we got where we are today. From voting against the candidate, instead of voting for the candidate.

Trump and Hillary both are pariahs. Both are a sure way to keep the vitriol and the division in the forefront.

I was aware of his impressive resume a few years back and has had me pondering ever since about the whole state of our gov't with the many former military members AND some 50 'former' CIA officers coupled with the ancient parasites that been in power for decades! Dark side deep state AND LIGHT side deep state of gov't. Both are bad. No one side is good, imo. All an illusion of choice.

The ones running through traffic with scissors are self limiting. Those that hide out on the porch are limiting us.

Very good point and so very true

Politics as a whole, has taken a nasty, evil turn
And the MSM is used as a tool to slant stories against whomever the opponent (a.k.a. target) is
Which makes for a vicious platform that people listen to and soak in all that negative bullshit

It used to be 'attack the candidate'
But since Hillary, well maybe during the Obama admin.... voters are now included in the personal attacks
Being called racists/bigots/sexitsts/deplorables etc etc, when their views are not in line with the Dems

I think they feel that they can win them over by guilting or shaming them into voting their way, but all it does is cause more division.

Because when political leaders get a free pass, as well as the talking heads on MSM, to insult half the population calling them names -- that gives the people themselves the feeling that they can do the same to their family members, neighbors, coworkers, strangers on the internet who disagree with them --- where eventually no one talks to one another.

Oh wait -- what???

Divide and conquer

Please don't force me into a conversation involving philosophy. I can do it but I hurt so bad I have a hard time typing, would you think about all the great architects of development of efficiant weapons always wanted to end wars. An example is the good DR. Gatling made a gun that was as effective to one soldier to 100 he made the gun thinking it would reduce drafted soldiers in the civil war. We got Nobel and making TNT they have a peace prize named after him, you got Oppenheimers and Einsteins same thing they wanted to decrease loss of life and all these moves in technological superiority got ass fucked into backwards land is now a tool for political entities.
In this context modern politicians hide under a shield that provides prominent and direct threats to mankind as a whole. Most of these assholes want to play a game figuring that the opposition will not pull the trigger so to speak. When we get the fucking Dhali Llama running for office we should support it. When we keep getting the self promoting ass shit that would clog your toilet telling you they have you in mind, get a bigger plunger.

It does not stop with politics.

I starting watching a video that was being discussed by a female talking head. that popped up in my feed. I watched a few seconds of the video being discussed, and suddenly I had four videos in my feed regarding the male and female relationship in today's society.

It would have been comical, if it were not for all the harm that is being done. It is so blatantly obvious, if you are watching from the outside, that there is a concerted effort to place a divide between men and women. Step back a little further and you can see the deliberate efforts in place to cause division among all of us.

You have to ask yourself why? The answer is sitting right in front our faces.

The amount of negativity outside of the political world is maddening as well.

Oh, by the way, the former Navy Lt., is Ron DeSantis, Gov. of Florida.

That is pretty impressive. Just to clarify, he wasn't actually a Navy Seal, but was a legal advisor to Seal Team One. There is a distinction there. But yeah, I never knew that about him. I have a little more respect for him for his military service, but make no mistake, I would never vote for him, ever.

Any other promising candidates as possibilities?

I am not talking about any of the old guard. I don't think Biden, Harris, Trump, Buttigieg, Gavin, Cuomo, Cruz, Paul, Sanders or Hillary, have a snow ball's chance in hell at a clean win.

Have we fallen so far that we don't have any mediocre candidates that will make for a believable Oscar Zoroaster Phadrig Isaac Norman Henkel Emmanuel Ambroise Diggs behind the curtain?

We all know that anyone smart enough, and capable enough to truly make a difference, is just too smart to put themselves in such a hopeless and potentially dangerous position.

So far DeSantis is looking the most promising, but that puts us in a bit of a sticky wicket here in Florida. Finding a new governor will be just as hard. Just the thought of having Charlie Crist back is enough to have me ready to pack my bags.

For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not.

Yet I still post.  tinyinlove

i'm thinking DeSantis will run i think he's just keeping his job for now and to keep that POS crist from winning.

Republican Jeanette Nuñez is the Lt Governor now, she holds a slight lead over the Democrat Christoper King 49.6 to 49.2, tight race. she has a good reputation so maybe the screwed up libtards and snowbirds won't get lucky.

I only hope that Desantis decides that if the king wins, he waits until the next presidential election to run. the majority of people i know like the way he runs the state, if he stayed as governor another full term and keeps on running the state the way he has, i think he would have a even better chance in 2028 to win.
