In regards of Janice Falcus mentioned in the post, all I found was this and I think it had surfaced before on

I noticed in the genealogical sheets there that Judy is listed as "male", although his/her name is hidden, but I reckon she was a male when she fathered the kids...

That page is from 2013, so I don't think it ever appeared in the thread - you've made a new discovery! The photo of Janice appeared in the thread, but I'm pretty sure that page didn't. It does serve as confirmation that that page involves the same Janice that came up during the investigation, though - the photo matches.

I believe that Mr. Shuttlewood was probably James' inspiration for the Aenstria yarn. Notice the year his "phone calls" are alleged to have started? Does it strike any bells when running through the timeline of James'/Judy's life?

As I recall, all of his official documentation in our possession show his date of birth to be in 1965, so I question just who entered that information at My Heritage apparently erroneously. Was it James/Judy his/her self trying to throw sand in the gear box, was it a family member working from faulty memory, or...?

ETA: on page 137 of the e-book is reproduced the passport of "James Hendrik van Greunen" issued by the South African consulate in London on 14 December, 1988, and expiring on 13 December 1993. It lists his current residence at the time as the UK, his height as 1.98 m, and a birth date verified by South Africa, his place of birth, of 21 April 1965.

On page 138 is shown the passport of "Judith Helena van Greunen", also born in South Africa on 21 April 1965, but paradoxically 14 cm (about 5 1/2 inches) shorter, issued by the South African embassy in Bonn, Germany, on 12 February 1992. Residence at that time is listed as Germany. Her sex at that time is listed as "F/V", which I do not know the complete relevance of - "F" obviously for "female", but the "/V" portion of the designation is cryptic to me.

The signatures on both passports match precisely. Everything matches perfectly other than the height and residence. does a sex change also change the height, or was van Greunen "fudging" on one measurement or the other, or possibly both?

That was why I posted the 'MyHeritage' information, someone wasn't just clearing the net of Judy's personal data,
it was being altered too to muddy the waters.

You know, one day I recalled that certain sites often "flip" images they have stolen in order to try to fool search engine photo recognition efforts, to hide copyright infringements and such. It occurred to me that Judy's "flipped"ASAN image might do the same thing in an effort to foil facial recognition software - might not have been a conscious effort, since some cameras (like the front camera on most cell phones) naturally "mirror" the image when taking a photo.

So I re-flipped the ASAN image to NASA and re-mounted it next to James's passport photo to match orientations.

To create Skinny Bob's hands would have tested the special effects technology of 10 years ago

'Of all the videos that are claimed to be “evidence” of alien creatures visiting the Earth, none is as as hard to
explain, or as downright crawly, as the brief clip of an extraterrestrial known as Skinny Bob.

A clip of the creature, with the bulging skull and huge black eyes that have become standard for images of alien
visitors, first emerged in 2011. Posted by an anonymous Reddit user who went by the name Ivan 0135, the video
was supposedly recorded by the KGB after a ship from the Zeta Reticuli star system landed in Russia.

“Skinny Bob” was said to be part of a diplomatic mission from a planet some 40 light years away sent to discuss
“matters of mutual concern.” It’s hard to believe that an alien from such a distant planet would look quite so human
–but if “Skinny Bob” is a hoax, the question remains; who are the hoaxers, and what did they stand to gain?

Video effects artist Randy Sharp said that if the clip was fake: “CG technology, at the time of production, would
have required a level of expertise of someone …with a high level of experience/knowledge”

No-one has ever tried to make any money from the footage, which some experts estimate would have cost in
the region of $250,000 to create. Movie maker Adam Wells, who directed the short film Shemira, told the Daily
Star that he’s seen plenty of crude hoaxes in his time but the Skinny Bob clip “looked had time spent on it”
He added that there was “something about the eyebrow move that looked animatronic”.

UFO expert Nigel Watson told us that Skinny Bob “looks like the sort of alien we might expect to march out of a
flying saucer or the type allegedly recovered at Roswell,” or the Mekon from 50s cartoon strip Dan Dare".
There’s also an uncanny resemblance to the drawing an alien abduction victim sent him after a Close Encounter
in the 1970s. But, he added, for all his alien credentials Bob looks”very humanoid and not as exotic as you might
expect for a visitor from a distant star system”.

Charley Henley, a VFX supervisor who worked on Ridley Scott’s Alien series, says there are very good reasons
why the aliens of our imaginations look so human: “A lot of the designs are tied in with the human anatomy,
and I think that is the common theme. We put a lot of humans into the aliens.”

Palaeontologist and evolutionary biologist Stephen Jay Gould says a human-looking alien would be extremely
unlikely, and if we “re-ran the tape” of evolution here on Earth, life could end up looking different to how it looks
now. But Sam Levin, a researcher in Oxford’s Department of Zoology, says an alien that looked a bit like us isn’t
as unlikely as all that: “: ‘We still can't say whether aliens will walk on two legs or have big green eyes.

"But we believe evolutionary theory offers a unique additional tool for trying to understand what aliens will be
like, and we have shown some examples of the kinds of strong predictions we can make with it. “By predicting
that aliens undergone major transitions -which is how complexity has arisen in species on earth, we can say
that there is a level of predictability to evolution that would cause them to look like us”...'

I remember the Skinny Bob videos. I still have copies of the originals around here somewhere - there were at least 3 of them, with faked scratchy-film KGB logos at the beginning of them. Our little globe-trotting Judy claimed to have gone off on a jaunt to Antarctica to purchase them at great personal expense and no small amount of danger and international intrigue, because everyone knows that all world governments keep their UFO videos archived in Antarctica so that the aliens stored in various hyper-secret bases around the Earth can't get their scrawny little long-fingered hands on them!

The reason "no one ever tried to make money on them" was because we linked Judy to "Ivan0135" immediately upon their release to the internet. Ivan posted them to his YouTube page where he also had posted several scandalous videos making all manner of improbable claims regarding the stalwart character of the investigators hounding Judy around the globe... and voila! The connection was made, and chances at selling rights to video vanished.

Poor, poor Judy - can't a girl catch a break?
