Back in the 70s I had a dream about 3 Russian cosmonauts who died on reentry. It was weird and I told my wife the next morning ....that evening on the CBS news Walter Cronkite announced what I had seen in my dream... I did not dream for almost 20 years after that happened. Weird...

I don't think it is rare and I believe more will become aware of this ability, soon.

Sometimes I dream of future events. When I have these dreams it feels different from my normal dreams but I don't have a clue of when the things seen in the dreams will come to pass. Sometimes I will dream of an event, a place or a person and it/they pops up the very next day, sometimes it is weeks and sometimes years. Sometimes it is big happenings but more often it is everyday scenarios, objects, people. I don't really like it much so thankfully it doesn't happen very often. I have no desire to cultivate it.

I have had such dreams.

Of two that I recollect - one was 'personal' (a future event), and one was not (an event that was taking place simultaneous with the dream).

While personal dreams could be influenced by our psyche/s - the precision with which said 'personal' dream was layed out, and played out, was uncanny.

The other 'simultaneously occurring dream' threw me for a loop for years to come.

That dream of yours is more like a premonition.

I cannot predict the future, but it does seem I can predict some things hours ahead...Like I am tied to someone who saw something on the news two hours before the news comes on here.  A form of communication that is between two different people who may be related or may be friends from the past or present. They are in a different time zone when they see it on the news.

It is not really reliable because it is based on the beliefs of that individual or their interpretation of what is going on at the time.  So I cannot trust it without investigating it.  It also may just be someone I am related to is having a dream and relaying it too.  I have mentioned this to a few people who seemed to be who's eyes or mind I was attached to.  So I don't trust these premonitions much because I do not know who is seeing them.
