And Then You Die
#1
My Brother served at Camp LeJune during this time frame.

He is dead now. Not saying it was related. We will never know.

All I have to say is that they don't really care about us.

For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not.

Yet I still post.  tinyinlove

There have been many articles I have come across (over the years) about the bad stuff that is supposed to be buried there (and other places) which are a hazard to humans. I hope his passing was easier than most.

We lived in Sneads Ferry (a little ways south of the Camp).  Something's wrong with the water there too.  We drank from a well on that property. Camp Lejeune probably contaminated all the ground water and the DoD doesn't want to fund a super-cleanup.

Good you passed on the water... Do you remember when the workers at Area 51 started a lawsuit due to illness that was caused by the burn pits and applying coatings that were toxic... The judge dismissed their case because there was no such thing as area 51..no kidding//... It was only years later when the government finally acknowledged the existence of the area.....probably after the plaintiffs were dead.

There are good folks and then there are bean counters.. A good bureaucrat keeps his job by saying yes sir two bags full while the bean counters are rewarded by saving beans no matter who they hurt in way to many cases IMO.
