China and Australia have had an incident. I have not heard of releasing chaff to try and disable a combatant but evidently it almost worked. https://youtu.be/YtuwAZALEjE

This is the story of human "civilization" ever since there has been such a concept, starting with the city states of Sumer getting into pissing matches over territory that belonged to neither.
Some folks just decide that what was never theirs before suddenly IS, and chaos ensues. The Persians suddenly decided one day that the territory of the Gelonian Scythians all of the sudden was theirs, but when they went to claim it, the Gelonians contested that, and handed Persian asses back to the Persians. They effectively said "no, this is still our land, always had s been, and never was yours, so here's your ass, take it back home and try to glue it back on." and that is just what the Persians did. This is pretty much the same situation - the CCP is claiming things that never were theirs, like international waters, and are trying to enforce their sovereignty over territory that they are not sovereign over. "International" means international, and it doesn't belong to any one nation. That has been decided over and over again via international treaties. Now the CCP says "no, 'international' really means all your base are belong to the CCP". And that is the way it will be until someone hands them their ass back. The CCP will be defacto owners of Planet Earth ("international waters", being claimed by the CCP, pretty much encompass the entire planet) until that is contested and they are ran back into their borders, dragging their detached asses with them. So who's gonna do that? Certainly not Russia, since they are cozy with the CCP, and have their own problems to contend with, what with the NATO invasion of Russian territory and whatnot. They are elsewhere occupied, and not in any sort of mood to slap the piss out of their buddies anyhow. Certainly not the US, since the BidenHarris regime is a wholly owned subsidiary of the CCP. So who's gonna do it? Maybe Australia, since they seem to still have a ball left. Maybe Vietnam, since they have already demonstrated an ability to hand the CCP their ass and point them towards home, in 1979. Whomever it is, it won't be the former Big Dawgs - they've already shown that they neither have teeth nor balls left on them. I honestly could not have blamed Australia if they had said "Oh, you're trying to wreck my plane over territory that ain't yours? Here's some A-A missile for you - enjoy!" .
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.
Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

Make a formal protest with the added warning that any aircraft without clearance penetrating our ADIZ will be considered hostile with hostile intent and will be fired upon. One warning and then "BOOM." You have been warned.
Do you wait while the guy keeps pushing you into the corner or do you do something in your power to stop the guy ? |
