The Ruse Continues!
#1
Okay all of you Domestic Terrorists, here's further proof the whole "PLAN"-demic was one great big fat LIE!

Today, airlines have announced that they are going to allow formerly banned (for refusing to mask) passengers back on airliners once again.

Now, if you will recall, back during the height of the "PLAN"-demic, passengers who refused to mask were labeled as Domestic Terrorists (among other nasty things), and as a result if they refused to comply with mask mandates they were banned by the FAA (a Federal agency) from air travel...for life!  (This is how we will force you to...COMPLY!  Now...get on your knees!!)  Remember?

Now, it seems, Airlines are feeling a little bit of pain in their wallets because there were so many banned passengers.  Awwwww...isn't that just too bad!  So...earlier this week, the State of Florida overruled a (another) Biden (lawless) edict forcing airline passengers to wear masks (gotta' keep that facade going, right?).  US airlines quickly followed suit and reversed previous policies requiring all passengers to wear a face-diaper, else be shunned.  But what about all those previous passengers who said "FUCK THIS!" and took their masks off anyway?  What about all those "Domestic Terrorists" who got thumped by the club of the false-God and were banned for life from air travel?  Well, if it was left up to the Federal Lawless Government, they'd just be shit outta' luck!  But...WAIT!!...

"Hey, we're missing out on a lotta' revenue here, Sugar Daddy.  You know, from all these passengers who are banned for life.  And you know what?  All that missed revenue equates to a whole bunch of sales taxes and other taxes we'd have to pay to YOU, Sugar Daddy!"

But Sugar Daddy wasn't listening.  So the state of Florida had to step in (as usual) and kick Sugar Daddy in his ball-less sack!  "Stop with this bullshit already, you addled old dickless wonder!"..., they said.

So Sugar Daddy decided to keep up the charade of the "PLAN"-demic by remaining silent (as usual), but not interfere with the Flordia ruling and/or the Airline's reversal of policy.

Dickweed flunks...AGAIN!

I am so thoroughly DISGUSTED with the political leadership in this country I could just spit every single time I see something about them!  This whole covid bullshit is just that...BULL SHIT!  Millions of people lost their jobs.  Hundreds of thousands of businesses tanked.  The government MURDERED a bunch of old people...and the entire economy of this nation is in the TOILET!

That is all...sort of (but maybe not!)

I gave up on flying a little bit before COVID. After COVID, way too many people were going full retard.

I don't want to get stuck up in the air with a full on crazy person, setting off a bunch or other full on crazy folk.

And the airlines are all about money. To the point that it is standard practice for them to over book, then expect you to miss your flight and travel at their convenience, not yours. And you pay to be treated like chattel.

I like driving. It takes longer to get through Florida than it takes to get through most States, but it takes less than twenty four hours for me to get to the majority of the places that I would fly.

I used to do drive straight through, going and coming, but I made that last trip two years ago. I made up my mind from then on that I will stop for the night, get a good night's sleep and start fresh in the morning, from now on. I don't mind driving, so now, at my age, I plan to stop, smell the roses, and do the scenic route from now on.

I don't have to rush back to work or anything like that. My vet is a close friend and takes great care of crits, darn near free, if I have to be gone for a while, or if my Brother is not able to care for them.

So why rush? I am going the lazy route from now on, and with the madness at the airports, and with the airlines, I have a good chance of getting there quicker than if I did fly.

Can't do commercial flights anymore. COVID was the nail in the coffin.

You got a smaller and smaller fraction of people who were willing (or enthusiastic) to put up with all the control. Who wants to be locked in a tube with them?

I am on Team Tyson on this one.

Oh, I completely agree with you guys!  And I work in the business even!!!

Flying today would be my very last option.

If the Airlines could get away with stuffing passengers in the overhead bins, and under the seats, to make an extra buck, you can absolutely bet your very last dollar they most definitely would!!

Before the madness started, that is now bursting out of the seams. I had given up on Spirit Airlines. After three bad experiences, I would not fly Spirit, even when the flight was free.

From what I have seen on the A&E "Airline" series, they are all equally disgusting.

The only way you will get me on a plane is if I have to be there yesterday and there is absolutely no other way to get there.

Every single thing you wrote, I agree with absolutely and completely. I haven't boarded a commercial jetliner since, I want to say, 2008 or 2009, and I don't plan on ever going on one of those high altitude fart-tubes again.

No sugar coating in this post:

First of all, as said in Night's post I've above quoted, even before the mask crap people were unbearable on the jets. Who remembers seat kickers? Being stuck next to the nose-picking guy with smoker's cough? And that's just fine and dandy but you are dealing with that utter misery only after being herded like cattle through a filthy, noisy airport.
I have no problems with long drives. I've experienced many fun and fascinating places because I drive/ride in cars instead of paying for a dirty, miserable couple of hours in a flying septic tank full of maniacs who could snap at any time.

Dude, we don't have any political leadership.
We have puppets and puppeteers.

And, FWIW, I have not flown many time sin my life.
About half the time I have flown, I have gotten very sick....like strep throat and bad cold sick.
IMHO, planes are flying germ factories.
Still, I would not mask on a plane or I would not fly should that ever become a mandate again.

And, I forgot...I refuse to take my shoes off to fly.

I will face my fear.  I will permit it to pass over me and through me.  And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path.  Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain." Frank Herbert, Dune

Right!! Any place with that much recirculated air and that many people is going to be a petri dish no matter how hard you try to disinfect it. Even if everyone is wearing a mask, if they aren't ALL wearing properly fitted, correctly donned N95s (no beards poking through, none of that under the nose BS, etc etc) you're still going to get a nice mist of human-exhaled moisture floating about the cabin, and you will be inhaling it, even through a cloth mask. May as well take that thing off your face and embrace the mystery mixture. tinylaughing
Better yet, drive.
