TV Series From
#1
I was told about this series by my Brother. I had not heard of it.

I just watched the first episode. So far it is extremely interesting.

Has anyone else watched this show? What do you think?
I find the acting so far very good. It looks promising. It has a sort of "Lost" feel.

Quote: Storyline

FROM unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest; including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. —brianfabulous

Tried to watch it but gave up about 10 minutes into it.  Looks to me like another story of dumb people doing dumb things and expecting things to improve.
If I am not here then I am probably someplace else.

I am actually just starting episode three, and I still find it interesting. I think what I find appealing about it, right now, is that it is one of those horror shows where it allows your mind to create the fear, instead of a lot of actual in your face stuff.

And so far, though you are right about the dumb people doing dumb things, the acting is pretty good.

And I guess it is up to date, because we are very much in a time when a lot of dumb people are doing dumb things.

Living with my dad I see him do dumb things everyday so I'll keep that for my entertainment but who knows.  Maybe the series gets better in time.

Aside from the dumbest title I've ever seen (unless it's an acronym), nope never heard of it. Reminds me of a prison for our minds.

The executive producer/director Jack Bender and star Harold Perrineau both worked on the TV series Lost.

I have it noted for later viewing.
"The New World fell not to a sword but to a meme." – Daniel Quinn

"Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that." ― John Lennon

Rogue News says that the US is a reality show posing as an Empire.

Hmm.  Seems interesting. Sounds like its similar to Wayward Pines, but hopefully doing all the right things Wayward Pines should have done in order to remain good.

I think there are more towns like this than we are aware of, because most are a lot more subtle.   minusculebiggrin

Well, like the town in the series, you don't get to just move in. You are made a resident, by design, not by choice.

You don't get to check in anytime you like, and leaving in one piece is not in the plan. minusculebiggrin

You may be right about this show.

I just finished the season and all I can say is  mediumitwasntme??????

It kept me intrigued, but left me hanging. It points strongly to another season. But they never completed this one, so season two would just be a continuation of season one.

A to be continued.

I am really curious to see what they are going to do with season two, because the series really does have a lot of potential.

The actors are good.

I hope they don't get too lost in the possibilities, like they did with "Lost".
