Rosie and Lola
#1
Here are the pets currently in my life -

Rosie and Lola

Rosie (Mom's dog) is the one looking at the camera and Lola is mine.

That photo is from an Easter video when they were 12 weeks old and ready for adoption.

They are now 2 years old and you can see they were BFF from the start.

They are too cut.

Tiny little things. My Huskicats are bigger than both of them. One look at my Enoch and Sylvester, and you will know that the term 'Fat Cat" also has a literal meaning.

They are so cute! It kind of makes me miss having a little dog. All mine are over 50 pounds. I have one that likes to try sneaking her way into my lap. She’ll start by putting her head next to me then slowly move the rest of her big self in the chair with me like she thinks I won’t notice.  Another one of ours is a dangerous explosion of energy. She’ll run in from nowhere and launch herself in my lap with no warning.

Then there’s the cats. Nobody is safe from the cats.

I have four Huskies. They range from 49 pounds to 52 pounds. And they fight to try to be the one that manages to get their big head in my lap. And even their heads are too big to fit.

No sneaking going on around here.

I imagine not. Do they talk the whole time like videos I’ve seen of huskies being very vocal? I’ll bet it’s adorable.

All mine are pretty quiet except my lab/pitbull. He thinks all the beds and all the toys are his. If he wants a certain bed or toy he will come tattle on the other dogs like I should make them move or take the toy for him. I keep telling him he needs to solve his own problems. Then sometimes he just wants a blanket but he wants it over him. Somehow he’s gotten me trained to know pretty much what he’s asking for. My husband always asks how I know exactly what he wants because he can’t ever figure it out. I tell him I’m the dog mom, I just know.

Max is the most vocal and the most argumentative. He has to have the last word. His son Goliath, is next in line, if he is thwarted in getting his head on my lap. His daughter Tamar is the worse, when people are about. She does not like people other than my Mom and myself. She is friendly with my Brothers and no one else, not their wives or children. It is the strangest thing.

Bellah gets mouthy when it is dinner time, otherwise she is the quietest.

It is quite the guffaw when thy decide to sing as a chorus.
