I am all for body cams.

They prove both innocence and guilt but I am pretty damned sure that 9 out of 10 times those bodycam videos are keeping the officers safe from unjustified claims.

Kind of reminds me of how all those "slip and fall accidents" in Walmart and other big retailers disappeared after security cameras were installed. Didn't stop shoplifters though, nobody has time to sift through the footage for small losses but for a possible big lawsuit? You betcha!
