Geological evidence for an Atlantis
#1
If you're into this stuff you'll want to check out Randall Carlson's epic Geological evidence for an Atlantis - a series of 10 episodes.

@Conan X has fascinating thread on..."When did Atlantis fall? Tolkien, Howard, and the Chronology of Deep Time: wherein we attempt to understand the articulation of two true accounts of the heroic ages of ancient earth."
"The New World fell not to a sword but to a meme." – Daniel Quinn

"Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that." ― John Lennon

I love to watch and read about things like that....but to be honest I haven't got the time, or to be brutally honest the attention span - to watch 10 episodes quite a few of which are nearly two hours long.

Any chance of a brief synopsis?

Ill have a read of the thread you linked to when I get a chance some time during the week.

Yep, I totally understand. I'm still in process of watching the series. He's not new to me and have listened to some of his interviews which were quite interesting on this subject. Unfortunately, I'm not able to even give a brief synopsis at this time, but he's all about tracing/interpreting Plato's location description of Atlantis and then dives into why he believes this specific place out in the Atlantic is the most logical location which he further backs with his detailed geological research presentation including correlating with the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis.

Atlantis?
Was it a real place?
The Greek Philosopher Plato, seem like he like to write and tell stories.
Plato appears to be a Character that like to draw a crowd.

Was he Really a Philosopher or did he Call Himself One?
It does seem to me that if Plato was a member of ATS or R-N3 he would be heavily involved in the writing/storytelling threads.
Or maybe the Liars game that is currently being played here at R-N3.

Plato may have impelish on a story he heard to bring notoriety and attention to himself. JMHO

How did the story go again?
Plato told the story of Atlantis around 360 B.C. or something like that
The Atlanteans were half god and half human. (Nephilims/Giants)
They created a utopian civilization (hopefully not Progressive Liberals) and became a great naval power. Their home was made up of islands separated by wide moats and linked by a canal that penetrated to the center.
The islands contained gold, silver, and other precious metals and supported an abundance of rare, exotic wildlife.
                                                                             huhwhat

Yup, who won't want to live there. I certainly hope Atlantis is found one day soon, with all the tech now mapping Earth from space, Atlantis should be easy to find.

Yep, around 360 BC. Just another great story, mystery, narrative, legend, myth that nobody has been able to prove either way. Everytime an outsider goes against the mainstream academic narrative those holier than thou academics ridicule and pound them into silence...we might not ever know. IF anything of Atlantis still exists the US Navy / National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) would have found it by now. The alphabet agencies are always searching & protecting ancient relics for their own use. Then you have the Edgar Cayce stories of Atlantis in which the intel agencies have always been most interested in and Ghislaine Maxwell/Epstein had a role in with their Terramar Op. Crazy stuff that is endless in conspiracy lore.

Some are hypothesizing that perhaps our time right now might be facing an Atlantean style reset fate. Can everything be erased in one or two generations? Klaus & Co. seem to think so and building their Great Narrative to replace the greatest story ever told to usher us in their brave new world of technocratic dystopia hell realm, in which my guess also includes human origin. Damn psychopaths might end up winning.

Underwater structures have been found by geospatial reconnaissance in the Bahamas, off the coast of Cuba, and at Yonaguni, to cite three examples.

"Atlantis" may or may not have ever existed as Plato describes it, but there was certainly something civilization-like here before us.

.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
