Not ragging on Trump, but you don't need any talent to stir up a crowd of people that are already avid fans.

You could come on stage, sing Old MacDonald had a farm, burp, and fart, and the crowd would be ecstatically pleased, and say you are the bestest in the world.

Politician, singer, actor, viral anythinger, it is all the same. That is why I guess they are referred to as Idols.

TBH Trump is tainted and to many people are truly suffering from TDS.

DeSantis would be a better pick with Rand Paul as vp.

Despite trump being the best POTUS we ever had within the last 5+ decades or so ( the bar was that low) simply for the following :
1. Exposing the masses to how fake the news really is
2. Bringing attention to our foreign dependencies to our adversaries such as China and Russia
3. Bringing attention to the swamp and even the republican swamp

However, Trump also royally Fd up from the start to the end of his presidency with hiring the swampiest of the swamp to go after the swamp. It was just plain stupidity to do so but even worse he never adjusted or learned from it. So despite trump being better than crooked sleepy child sniffing JOE he made other very stupid mistakes as well like giving full control of the internet back to the deepstate by killing net neutrality principles.

IMO either Trump was an idiot that allowed himself to get played or he was part of the swamp or new swamp all along/ . IMO I think he got played by his own administration that he picked and put together.

He needs to move on and let DeSantis take a chance at it.

I agree with almost your whole post.  I take exception what is quoted.

I don't believe it was stupidity.  I think it was planned from the outset.  The People expected Hillary to go to jail.  She could have been in jail the very same day he was inaugurated.  That she wasn't, should tell you the whole thing (and everything that followed) was an act.

There are no politicians who are like you and me (common folk).  Never will be.  I've had friends reach political power in the US Senate.  I (apparently) wasn't their friend after they were elected.  My old man was elected to public office and held it for several terms.  Told me the best thing I ever did for him was to join the Army ... and stay in (out of his way).

Politicians .. effing ... suck.  That includes Trump.
