In a lengthy Twitter thread, Rep. Roy pointed out that the bill does nothing to increase oil and gas production, hurts Americans at the pump, sends tens of millions of dollars to Venezuela, funds radical global climate activism and CRT training, advances COVID tyranny, and funds "gender programs" in Pakistan.

It's also absolutely overflowing with pork. The Hill reports that the bill includes 4,000 earmarks spanning 367 pages, and Citizens for Renewing America published on Twitter a list of some of the most ridiculous.

Europe is descending into war. Inflation is making the most basic goods more expensive. Gas prices are soaring. Our country is $30 trillion dollars in debt, and the economy is stalling.

I'll take that Louisville sidewalk money, buy some Sakrete and put a few of these new immigrants to work- and have lots of money to play with after because the amount allotted is probably dedicated to one short stretch of sidewalk.

And why do we need a desert museum in Arizona? The whole state is desert! I'll take that money as well.
