I have been here for almost a week now and finally got the courage to make a thread to share a bit about myself. :)

My name is Carly and I moved from the US to the West Midlands UK 12 years ago when I married my hubby. I love the paranormal. I have had so many experiences thru out my life and to me there is no doubt that there is some kind of life after death. I also find UFO phenomena very interesting. I love history as well. Oh and 80's movies!!! The 80's were the best for music and movies!  tinybiggrin I also love travelling.

When I am not at work, I love taking my dog (that's my baby in my profile pic) for walks and spending time with my family and friends and going to the theatre.

I am a bit shy so I usually lurk more than I post.  tinybiggrin

Thanks for welcoming me RN3!!  tinyinlove

Welcome aboard, glad to have you!   minusculehello

I too have a weak spot for anything 80's --- that is one time period (along with the 70's) that I can spot a mile away in movies by the clothing and hair styles.

Oh and the huge cell phones  minusculebiggrin

Not to mention, great rock music from those days
My favs!!

Yes, I am one of the guilty ones, thinking the 80's was just "yesterday" and not 40 years ago  minusculespooked

I've got 2 poochie dogs, both rescues --- Buddy is a blue healer/rhodesian ridgeback mix (tan & white with a small ridge down his back)

And Marley is black & white -- beagle/jack russell mix -- fearless, which is good because Buddy can be, um, moody at times. LOL

She kinda reminds me of the character Arya from Game of Thrones  smallroflmao
Spunky, sassy, fearless, stubborn ..... LOL

Just make yourself at home

If you snoop around really good, you may find Guohua's whiskey stash

But in the meantime, help yourself to the bar, we'll just put it on @gordi's tab

See ya 'round the boards!!

He definitely must have Husky beans. (Family joke. Remind me to tell you about it one day.)

I should start a thread "I have four
 Huskies. Ask me anything." thread.

Enoch and Sylvester are litter mates, offspring of a neighbors barn cat, and wandering stray. Their stories are here somewhere. So I guess I could say, I have six Huskies. They both think and act more like dogs than cats.

Now Bellah, the Mom is a bit weird, she is more cat like than Sylvester and Enoch, maybe she is just trying to teach them their original heritage.

Anyway we all hope you will enjoy being here with the rest of the roguish gang.

They were welcomed into the pack joyfully, I think because the Huskies were welcomed into the house by Lazarus our 21 year old dogcat before he left us. Lazarus did not play. He was the protector, he laid down the rules, and none dared challenge his role as alpha. Even at the age of 21.

For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not.

Yet I still post.  tinyinlove

Thanks NSB4D!

I would love to hear about the Husky beans!!  minusculebiggrin

My boy does the husky talk. He likes to tell us about his day when we get in from work. He also does it when he is telling off the cat that lives across the street. Seriously! the cat sits on the car in our driveway and taunts him and my boy will be at the window and I swear it sounds like he is saying "Gogogoooo & Whyyyy",  tinylaughing It cracks me up, especially since the cat is looking at him like " make me dog tinysure "  Lol! I will have to video it one day and post it.  tinylaughing

I keep opening this thread expecting to see a picture of a monkey ... anywhere.

Still not disappointed.

'Cause if they catch you in the back seat trying to pick her locks
They're gonna send you back to Mother in a cardboard box
You better run!

Welcome Sugar Monkey!  Love the name.

So much in common… paranormals, Van Halen and pooches!  My baby girl, Topanga, is half border collie half heeler.  We do agility sport, she is lightning fast.  its really too bad she has an old lady as a handler that forgets where the next cone is, she would be national class.  Ive had serious offers after coming off the course, (no way!) like they feel bad for her too.  But she doesnt care, if she doesnt know where she is going next, because she can run faster than I can think, she will guess and half the time gets it right.  She will do course work by herself just for the love of it.  She has a 3 inch wide mohawk from top of head to tail, stands up like a brush cut when she is excited.   Red tick and half mask.  We also have her littermate Hobie, just red freckles, no patches…. best frisbee dog ever.

Pics of my coyote angels later….

Glad you are here!
