Did Ketanji Jackson Just Crap the Woke Leftist Bed?
#1
Be nice...I'm a still new at posting a thread here.

So, let's talk a bit about the Supreme Court confirmation hearing from the other day.

Biden Supreme Court nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson, was asked by Senator Marsha Blackburn...

“Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’?”

...to which, Ketanji replied:

"I can't...I’m not a biologist."

This is being interpreted as Biden's far left nominee for the Supreme Court evading the touchy topic of personal gender identity.

HOWEVER...

Biology and, by extension, biologists...universally and scientifically define the difference between sexes as having either XX or XY chromosomes.

Isn't this actually Biden's far Left nominee stating that she believes that, NOT the individual, but ONLY a BIOLOGIST is able to define whether a person is a man or a woman?

It sure seems so.

Why aren't the woke condemning her for this?

Watched Greg Gutfeld last night, they did a spoof on it.

Over the years these hearings have become more and more brutal. They are dog and pony shows that allow our representatives to posture and pretend to be working for the best interest of the people.

They waste all of that time. money, and effort in theater, while the American people are struggling to hold on to their homes, struggle to afford transportation, and struggle to feed their children.

All of it is just BS, charades, and a game of "Gotcha!".

For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not.

I agree.

Everything seems so scripted now. Like who would even answer that question that way? Ridiculous.

Those hearings shouldn’t even take that much time. They need to put the focus back on things that really matter.

Supreme court appointments do really matter! We need to scrutinize every appointment to the highest court.  If the scrutiny is honest.  Going back to a school yearbook isnt honest scrutiny.   Reviewing a judge’s rulings and sentencing record is.  I had no objection to Judge Brown personally until I listened to the hearing yesterday.   It seems to me she is an activist.  She doesnt agree with the law in terms of the computerization of the child porn industry, so gives out the lenient sentences, thats activism.   She has described the heinousness of certain offenses, against toddlers even!,   but then contradicts herself with a sentence less than recommended by the probation dept.  Activism with plausible deniablity, in my view.  And they are trying to cover up the facts in these cases.  This on top of ‘no candidates but black females should apply’, and I have to say I’d not vote to put her on the bench.

This is America. Unfortunately, we can't seem to get past race and color. I agree. In America there should never be restrictions to an application based on race, or color.

I will never live to see an America were people are just Americans. Damn shame too.

Any merit she has or had was diminished by Jao Baiden when he announced he would choose a black woman for the court. So now we have affirmative action in regards to what should be an apolitical process. This candidate is also a proponent of critical race theory.
We will never get beyond race if it is the be all/ end all in all our appointments and decisions. What an immature way to do anything.

You bring up a good point. Leave the definition of a woman up to a biologist.

She could have gone all woke with a 10 minute pseudo-explanation but she didn't.

Unfortunately, I have no idea about her judicial record other than what is stated above. But I have lost faith in my institutions so if she is confirmed or not makes little difference to me.

So, if a case comes before the SC involving gender identity she will make her decision based on what established biological science says?
I'm skeptical.

The Woke should be very angry with her...but are silent.

I think I wasn’t as clear as I meant to be above. Yes I agree they matter. I think I’m just frustrated by the whole thing right now because it seems like serious  scrutiny of her doesn’t matter by most of the ones doing the scrutinizing. They seemed to think some of the republicans were in the wrong for asking the questions they asked.  She is also someone I would never vote to the bench.

At least the republicans asked good questions about her cases and rulings, not if she drank beer in college.  After what they put Judge Kavanaugh and his family thru, they should be ashamed.  I had to laugh when the Senator from Hawaii asked about her creative life.  Fabric Arts!  How important it is to think creatively!  No!  Its important to review her judicial philosophy and record!

Yep, the true sign of a hiding racist. The disregard for qualifications in either position are tossed aside
in order to tell the country that both women only attained their posts due to their skin tone.
