In fact, I just found out today, the RV trailer park where I live, is going to be accepting roughly 70 FEMA travel trailers for the tornado victims.

I saw them today doing the survey for water lines and flagging areas near me.

...

FEMA???  Trailers??  Weather victims??

Aww CRAP!...now the price of formaldehyde is gonna' go up!!!

(Remember Katrina?)

We had to go down and clean some of that stuff up too!  Perfect example of..."We're the Government, and we're here to 'HELP' you!"

Hell yeah I remember Katrina.

We were supposed to work a festival that weekend, which got canceled and instead, the whole carnival rode it out at the coliseum parking lot in Alexandria, LA

Then spent the rest of the week with no power.
Had to wait in the gas lines, often they would run out by the time we got there.
But finally, after 50 trips with 10 gallon gas cans, we were able to fill up our trucks. LMAO

We spent 2 weeks at the Cortana mall, set up there randomly with a few rides, food concession trailers (Jim airbrushed tshirts/car tags, etc) and it was like a mini State Fair with everyone and their Fema checks. Yeehaa, we made some money those weeks.

There was, not sure if there still is, in Opelousas, LA I think it was (somewhere near there anyway),  that had fields of abandoned Fema trailers. Jim and I were thinking of all the money wasted. Just sitting there. Ugh...

Not sure if these will be the "formaldehyde" types of trailers or regular travel trailers.

Being as the RV park will not be able to do their normal background checks, I kinda hope not too many show up.
I was told to make sure my cameras were working. Which they always are

This is a very nice, clean and QUIET, peaceful trailer park and I want it to stay that way.  minusculerolleyes
