Would you stay and fight for America ?

I hope we NEVER have a problem disagreeing with one another.  I know where you're coming from.  Our differences of opinion and our open expression of them is the only thing that keeps me coming back for more.

I'd suggest you try one of those clubs on for size, too.  What's the worst that could happen?  You make some Real Life friends ... or you walk away?  Take a chance ... sing and dance.

Thank you for understanding. The Constitution is without a doubt an imperfect document. It was constructed by imperfect men in attempts to maneuver, imperfect situations. One of the reasons that I suggested that it be a starting point, a map, a foundation to stand on, and to build on.

I have indeed been in my fair share of groups, and I am still very active in many. I just avoid the ones that are exclusive for reasons that go against my personal views, morals, and ideologies. I sing. I dance. I even shake my body down to the ground. This old lady is not that feeble.

One of the reasons I have trouble being a member of a clique, or an exclusive club, it that I believe you can't judge individuals by grouping them into categories. Everyone has a story. Everyone has a journey. If you have not lived their life or walked their path, it is easy to come away with a lot of faulty data.

I am not saying that anything you said is wrong. I am saying that for a lot of people it may not be right. That is why I believe the Constitution is a good foundation. It has already lived through many mistakes we have made in the past, and is a good map for leading us in the future.

As far as staying to fight for my country goes, I'm not the fighter I once was physically, but I have nowhere else to go. This is my home. It's where the bones of my ancestors lie. I'm not going anywhere. So consider me a cornered animal, and act accordingly. Every day that goes by, I have less to lose by getting into a deadly fight.

LOL look at chicago they kill each other over sneakers and drug baggies or just for the hell of it... if America was invaded them people would be chomping at the bit to get away with murder. Now wether or not they fight for their country is one thing but sure as shit they will be defending their "turf"

I think for most American Democrats, especially the suburban ones, it depends on the stimulus for fighting. If their handlers told them to fight, they'd flood the front, but if they just saw Russian soldiers marching down their street, and had no orders from their handlers, then they'd run away squealing like little girls until they got orders to fight from Pelosi. The Republicans would fight simply because it appears lately that they are just looking for any excuse at all to throw a war and invite everyone. Republicans used to not be that way - I think the Neocon Menace is making a resurgence within their ranks.

After America being invaded ... I think people need to be given conditions for earning their citizenship (rights) and told how their citizenship can be lost as well.

Why wait for the aftermath for the purging? The Fog of War is a great environment to clean house in. No one knows where the shots came from, and no one has time to investigate it further.

I think even an old fat bunny would defend his home as most people would IMO. As far as going to a different country and being the invader yourself ??? Not for this admin or the CUNTS (can't understand normal things) in Washington who all by themselves are a weapons grade disaster due to their senile stupidity and leftist communist training ..

By thinking that you must complete the job you will run out of time. By considering things like how many men the enemy has, time piles up; in the end you will give up. No matter if the enemy has thousands of men, there is fulfillment in simply standing them off and being determined to cut them all down, starting from one end. You will finish the greater part of it.

When the time comes, there is no moment for reasoning. And if you have not done your inquiring beforehand, there is most often shame. Reading books and listening to people’s talk are for the purpose of prior resolution. Above all, the Way of the Samurai should be in being aware that you do not know what is going to happen next, and in querying every item day and night. Victory and defeat are matters of the temporary force of circumstances. The way of avoiding shame is different. It is simply in death. Even if it seems certain that you will lose, retaliate. Neither wisdom nor technique has a place in this. A real man does not think of victory or defeat. He plunges recklessly towards an irrational death. By doing this, you will awaken from your dreams.

Bring back wild west justice. you steal? hanging unless its small then you get hard labor in jail 10 yrs no parole.. You murder? outright gunning down if found guilty.

The framers should had put in a provision the stupid cant vote. Highschool diploma needed.

You do know that we have a very long history related to restricting voting rights.

It used to be that only the "free" "white" "immigrant" could vote. No native American or anyone of mixed blood could vote. There was a time that only the wealthy land owners could vote.

So I would be careful about any new restrictions you would like to put in place for voting.
I dont think having a GED or diploma is a hurdle for voting. Add a stipulation OR attending school with at least a d.
People need to be taught civics again,so they will know their laws.

Would I stay and fight for America?

I would stay, certainly. This is my home. I was born here, raised on this same spot of property since I was a year old. My father built this house with his own hands, from wood he got by tearing down older buildings. I helped build many of the other buildings, and a few I built myself. I have nowhere else to go, so if it comes down to stay and fight for this land or leave it behind... I'm old, and I have lived more in this one life than most could have lived in three. Yeah, I'll defend it to the death.

Would I fight for America? That depends on what America we are talking about. Political America? Nope, you are on your own. Try to drag me into a fight to defend the kind of asinine government we have today, and you just became my mortal enemy. That's not a good thing to be.

But if we're talking about "real" America... yeah, in a New York heartbeat. My neighbors, my freedom, my family, my way of life... you better believe I would fight for them, to the death and beyond.

To my way of thinking, that is what America is all about... not the idiot politicians tripping over themselves to prove who is the most insane. America is people, good people, trying to make a life for themselves and help others do the same. They have an ally here. The fools trying to control others have a enemy here.

I always wanted to ask you (directly) about killing.  Do pilots wrack up scores the way us Legs do?  I know you guys paint pictures of the other guy's airplanes near the noses of your birds ... sometimes pictures of bombs ... but do you ever (try to) account for the actual numbers? Divvy it up so-to-speak? I would give you the benefit of the doubt, as a gentlemen, that you don't. But, I've always been curious.

I don't know why or when I started thinking about this.  It was a long time ago out in some forgotten shithole.  Teams I was with ... we were surgeons ... and the dr.'s notes we posted were always great in detail.  I remember an epiphany during a BDA we were assigned to as a secondary.  No idea what was in the sky, but we wound up having to estimate the body-count, the stench and the absolute carnage made it impossible to do otherwise.

Pilots and artillerymen.  Scariest numbers for sure.

I was always a push the button (same as pull a trigger IMO) and watch them disappear in a red mist kinda guy. Usually because I was commander of a crewed bird I would just tell someone else to pull the trigger on a M-60, mini-gun or a 50 cal..... unless you count finding a company or battalion size unit and calling in a nice spread of B-52s with their 750 pound bombs all my killing was done by extension.. Closest to god I have ever been was feeling those 750 pounders going off. The bad guys on the ground who survived figured they had enough of war and wanted to go home to their Mothers. Those missions were done by triangulating and fixing a location down to 250 meters which was close enough for a B-52 strike. The mission sucked from our seats but uncle sugar thought we were something special.

I am lucky Snarl as I never hated.. I was just doing a job where I either did it right or suffered some severe consequences.

So no I never had an AR/M-14 or a pistol in my hands and pulled the trigger to off someone. I always planned on keeping one round in my pistol for myself as the bad guys were just as brain washed mean as we were and not very nice to prisoners or wounded combatants. I always figured if they want to kill me then like in the western movies it was always the quick or the dead; the quick lived to fight another day while the dead are just a memory and out of the game of life.

I understand what those words mean.  Only ever saw one or two guys who took it personally.  They mostly got their licks in and were done.  Being on the ground in Indian territory can make you go gray fast.  Best to just focus on what you're paid to do and keep it professional.  Time seems to go by faster that way too.

Only had a couple close calls.  One that still wakes me up nights was when they set the whole building we were in on fire.  Lost all of our gear, but the whirly birds got us out before I peed my pants.  Might have cried for momma (don't tell Beez).
