Ran up on this on my way to the garden.
It must be in the water.
Now I know why I am always trying to take on more than I can chew.

LMAO!
My friend saw this happening, in my front garden, but sorry to say the frog was a bit farther down, so just his back legs were sticking out, and the snake was up a little bit. She came running back in the house and said "you have to see this creature, what is it" Yeah, she thought it was all one creature. City girl.

I ran into a small black snake on Friday evening, next to my Ponderosa lemon tree, which is going to have an abundance of fruit this year. Then ran into a little bigger one Saturday morning, just lying still in my front yard, trying to figure a way around Tamar, the feisty, nonsocial Husky. This one is just a small blue garter snake. He really is pretty, when he is not trying to stuff himself. For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not. Yet I still post.

That reminds me of the time my mom and I were sitting outside one evening years ago. We kept hearing a noise that almost sounded like “help”. Well we tracked it down and it was just like that, a snake with a frog in it’s mouth. All of a sudden she grabbed a stick and ran up to the snake, barefoot mind you, and smacked that old snake on the head. It dropped the frog and slithered off, I’m sure angry because it had just had its meal interrupted. The frog hopped off, saved to most likely be a meal for another day.
