This story has always intrigued me. I doubt we will ever know the truth for sure, but with the evidence of the grave that had been disturbed, I lean to thinking it actually occurred and the story was covered up.

there have been several stories about it. history channel UFO Hunters  did a episode about opening up the well where they were suppose to have dumped some of the wreckage and people getting sick. and Jim Marrs of ATS fame did a documentary about it and a couple of others if i recall correctly.
