It's about time! Ashli Babbitt was the only person killed at the January 6th protest at the Capitol.
And she was unarmed!
All the media concentrated on were all the deaths there, but none of them had anything to do with being attacked or shot. They all died from natural causes.
Oh, and in case you hadn't heard, the officer they claimed that was killed by being struck in the head with a fire extinguisher, that's fake news too. The fact is, he died from a stroke two days later and had no signs of being hit in the head, per the coroner.
Ashli was the only person killed by a weapon. All that was needed was a warning from the police inside, but no, he shot her!
No evidence? NO EVIDENCE?!
Apparently, "the department" didn't see the same videos I did. The officer raised his gun and shot her as soon as her head was through the window. No warning call, nothing!
Could it be because the officer was black, and Ashli was a white Trump supporter?
Yeah, looking at the officer's hand, he appeared to be a black man.
I usually stand by police, but not in this case. I hope the family wins big.

The lawsuit follows the Justice Department announcing earlier in the month that it will not pursue criminal charges against the unnamed officer who shot Babbitt has she tried to climb through a broken-door window inside of the Capitol building.

Still, Roberts argues there is enough evidence to put forward criminal charges against the officer who shot Babbitt – a military veteran from Lakeside, Calif., who was 35 at the time of her death.
"Clearly, the officer had the required willfulness," Roberts said. "He clearly could see that she was not armed, she did not present an immediate threat to him, and there was no legal justification for shooting her."
Roberts argues that the officer did not warn Babbitt, who was trying to enter the Speaker's Lobby just off the House floor, before shooting her and that the officer should have been charged.
The family says the yet-to-be-filed case will allege a violation of Babbitt's constitutional rights.
