I know, right? A box of ammo costs roughly the same as a dozen roses, and lasts almost as long as the roses do, so I'm not understanding her reaction!

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

Reminds me of when I lived in the country, my closest neighbour and friend owned a large farm ( for Finland). He had an old gray Massey Ferguson I think it was from the 50s. He called it "old girl". So one day I ask him why the name? he answered
"Its a bit like the wife"
Old, smokes too much, drinks too much, and smells bad.
