The Welsh & The Virus In The Valleys.
#1
First the Welsh devolved Government promised its people that their Covid rules would safeguard
them from the virus. Then they locked down the nation and called a 'firebreak', to last from 23rd
October until the 9th November. Assurances were given that this control was necessary and should
do the trick.

Of course, power and control doesn't work with ceding to given-promises.
Apparently the Covid flu lives in booze now.

Quote:Covid: Alcohol ban for Welsh pubs and restaurants from Friday.

'Welsh pubs, restaurants and cafes will be banned from serving alcohol from Friday and will be
unable to open to customers beyond 18:00 GMT. First Minister Mark Drakeford announced the
new rules to tackle a rise in coronavirus cases.

Business groups said the move would devastate Wales' hospitality industry, with closures "guaranteed".
Indoor entertainment and visitor attractions, including cinemas, museums and galleries, will also have to shut.
Businesses can offer a takeaway service after 18:00, and if they have an off-licence can sell takeaway alcohol
up until 22:00.

The Conservative leader in the Senedd, Paul Davies, said the national approach from the Welsh Government
was unfair on areas with low Covid rates. Plaid Cymru said hospitality was "paying the price" for a lack of stricter
measures after the firebreak lockdown ended on 9 November.
Mr Drakeford said without changes there could be between 1,000 and 1,700 preventable deaths over the winter.

The first minister said firms hit by the restrictions would be offered £340m in support which he claimed was
"the most generous package of financial assistance anywhere in the UK".

Mr Drakeford told a press conference: "I know these new restrictions will be difficult, coming as they do at the
one of the busiest times of the year for the sector. "Unfortunately, we continue to face a virus which is moving
incredibly quickly across Wales and a virus that will exploit every opportunity when we spend time with one another."

The case rate has risen from 187 per 100,000 people over seven days on Friday, to 210 cases per 100,000
people, Mr Drakeford added. The restrictions come into effect at 18:00 on Friday, and are similar to the restrictions
on hospitality within level three areas in Scotland.

However the rule allowing four people from four different households to meet indoors in pubs and restaurants will
stay in place.

The decision will be reviewed on 17 December.
Bingo halls, bowling alleys, soft play centres, casinos, skating rinks and amusement arcades will also have to close.
Meanwhile current restrictions on travel into England, implemented while a lockdown is in place over the border, are
being reviewed.
The first minister said he would make a further announcement later this week...'

Our businesses, including bars and restaurants, can't be open from 10 pm to 5 am.   Because, as I'm sure you know, the virus only spreads between those hours.

They lose more credibility every week.

There is no logic to the way any of the areas are responding to what they are calling a deadly crisis, that has been more deadly to people's lives, than taking of people's lives, and they are all over the place.

The only thing that I trust, is when they say, they don't know enough about the virus.

March 13, 2020, is when I got the call from my boss informing me about the lockdown. It was supposed to only be for fourteen days.

I work for the State, so I knew exactly what was coming. I drew my boss a map of what was going to come down the pike. I told her there would eventually be mandatory vaccination required to keep our jobs. I told her the moment she had that ordinance in her possession, she should take it as my resignation.

At the time she thought I was over reacting. She now looks at me with a hint of fear in her eyes. She has commented on more than one occasion that she can't believe that this whole thing has played out exactly the way I said it would.

I am no prophet, I am a realist, and I have always had an extremely logical mind. I read encyclopedias the way other children read comic books, because my brain was always hungry for the who, what, where, and why, of everything. I also grew up as a military brat, and worked for the military government for quite a number of years, then spent around thirty years deciphering their edicts. I know how they think, and I know how they operate.

I wish people didn't feel so confused and helpless that they believe anything they are told without taking the time to think.

I do like his attitude... and the comments at YouTube were pretty thought provoking! It is true that in all good Islamist countries like the UK, women must cover their faces when in public, and alcohol s forbidden!

So what is the next covid restriction that will also promote the shari'a?

My sister is an ER nurse, and is of much the same mindset. The number of times a year they have to get stabbed just to keep their jobs is already excessive, and requiring a brand new stabbing with a substance whose behavior has not been seen or gauged out here in the wild is a bridge too far. Pharma exec can never be trusted to see to YOUR well being, only the well being of their own bottom line.

Not everything takes a prophecy. Some times, critical thought in combination with evaluation of a pattern in past behaviors can be enlightening.

Quote:No10 stops short of ruling out Covid 'immunity passports' despite saying it is 'not something the

PM wants' - as Wales raises fears of spot checks at pubs and shops by bringing in ID-style cards
for people who get vaccine

*Pfizer vaccines licensed by UK regulator and will be distributed from next week
*Wales says people will be issued with ID-style cards to show they have had jab
*Fears that pubs and shops could demand proof of vaccine before allowing entry

'No10 today stopped short of completely ruling out 'immunity passports' despite insisting it is 'not something the PM wants'.
Downing Street played down the idea of giving people who have had vaccines more freedoms, saying it would not be fair
while the jabs were still being distributed according to priorities.

But the PM's press secretary Allegra Stratton did not totally close off the possibility that such documentation could be used
after the full rollout, merely stressing that it was not Boris Johnson's preferred approach.

The dodging came as it emerged that people in Wales are to receive an ID-style card to show they have been vaccinated
for coronavirus. Health minister Vaughan Gething revealed the move as he hailed news that that Pfizer jabs have been
approved by UK regulators.

The cards will include the date of immunisation, with the Labour-run Welsh government insisting it will serve as a 'reminder'
about when individuals need the second dose. However, they sparked an immediate backlash with fears of an 'authoritarian'
crackdown as pubs, shops and other public venues demand to see the proof before people are given access.

Health minister Vaughan Gething and the Welsh enemy. Your choice which.

UK government ministers have tried to cool the idea they are preparing official 'immunity passports' that would allow people
to return to normal life once they have received a jab. But vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi suggested earlier this week that
although the jabs will be voluntary, businesses could ask to see proof before allowing people in.

Ms Stratton told journalists at a briefing this afternoon that there were no immediate plans to introduce 'immunity passports'.
She pointed to the way the vaccines were being spread through the population, with the elderly and most vulnerable getting it first.
'If we're saying to people there is a priority list... we can't then be denying people freedoms or liberties,' she said.

Pressed repeatedly on whether the policy could ever be introduced, she added: 'Immunity passports is not something the PM
wants to go ahead with.'

UK regulators today approved Pfizer/BioNTech's Covid-19 vaccine, paving the way for mass vaccination to start in just days.
Officials said the jab — which the UK has ordered 40million doses of — will be made available 'from next week' as Health
Secretary Matt Hancock declared 'help is on its way'.

Department of Health and Social Care officials made the announcement just after 7am this morning, as England left its
second national lockdown and shops reopened for 'wild Wednesday'.  Pfizer/BioNTech's vaccine has been shown to block
95 per cent of coronavirus infections in late-stage trials, with equal efficacy among younger volunteers and those over 65
who are most at risk from Covid.

Mr Hancock declared the end of the pandemic was 'in sight' today, revealing that 800,000 doses of the jab will be available
next week — enough to vaccinate 400,000 people because it is administered in two shots — but conceded the bulk of the
roll out won't happen until the New Year.

He said: 'The NHS stands ready to start vaccinating early next week.
The UK is the first country in the world to have a clinically approved vaccine for supply.'

Mr Hancock revealed those 'who are vulnerable from Covid' will be first in line, meaning care home residents and workers
will be first to be contacted — despite claims NHS workers would be first.

In a statement to the Welsh parliament, Mr Gething said: 'Those receiving a COVID-19 vaccination will be given a credit
card-sized NHS Wales immunisation card which will have the vaccine name, date of immunisation and batch number of
each of the doses given handwritten on them.

'These will act as a reminder for a second dose and for the type of vaccine, and it will also give information about how to
report side effects.' Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford tweeted: 'Significant news this morning.

'Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to make this a reality.
'Our vaccine programme is ready to go, but the impact won't be seen nationally for some months.
'In the meantime, we all must continue to follow the rules and protect each other.'

But Tory MP and former minister David Jones, who represents Clwyd West, said it was more evidence of the 'authoritarian'
streak in the Welsh government. 'It is not really surprising. The Welsh government has shown itself to be very authoritarian
throughout this pandemic,' he told MailOnline.

'They have imposed a lot more restrictions than England.
'You would hope that these cards are not expected to be carried, and if people want to throw them away then they should be
entitled to. 'We don't want to get to the stage where government are requiring people to carry cards.'

Grey Collier of campaign group Liberty said: 'Any form of immunity card raises more questions than it answers.
It is currently unclear how these cards will be used, and whether people could be asked to use them to prove they have immunity.
'Once cards like these have been created it would be easy for their use to be extended so they can be used like an immunity
passport.

This could result in people who don't have a card potentially being blocked from essential public services, work or housing
-with the most marginalised among us hardest hit. 'This has wider implications too because any form of immunity passport
could pave the way for a full ID system – an idea which has repeatedly been rejected as incompatible with building a rights
-respecting society.

'We have always supported proportionate action to protect lives, but that must not come at the expense of our rights and
freedoms.'...'

I have an appointment at a large hostable to see a  doctor, so I phone to ask for the appointment to be moved because of the pandemic, the nurse laughed and said there is nothing going on here, the place is empty, then she realized what she had said and said she would talk to the doctor. Two days later another nurse phones me been very serious almost aggressive that I have to come to see the doctor.
The whole thing just makes me wonder WTF is going on

I think we both know what occurred and how the nurse attempted to repair her error.

Well, you see, that would be a Christian belief. Christians also believe Jesus (Isa) was the son of God, and somehow also God himself - don't ask me how that works, as I can't figure it out, either... you know, that "he was his own pa" thing. Makes no sense, not even a little bit. Anyhow, Islam does not believe any such thing, and so they would be at loggerheads. it even says so right on the Dome of the Rock - a line of Arabic script runs around it quoting the Qur'an which says something like "far be it from Allah to take unto himself a son"

So, the two are utterly incompatible.

Therefore, if the Shari'a-ites want to run the place, it's only fitting that they should keep all the Covids for themselves, eh? Is there a flaw in my logic somewhere?

How can I argue with someone who was actually at the first Nativity!
There is again, no flaw in your logic!

It's just poor Wales I feel sorry for, just like a domestic-abuse victim, they were given hope
and then it's not only taken away from them, more draconian measures were implemented.

It seems beer is where Covid resides now!

You two just gave me an out there thought.

It is well known that religion is an easy way to control the masses. I find it interesting that they have placed so much control over the numbers they allow to congregate in churches, while allowing other venues to continue unchecked or lightly checked.

Perhaps this is all part of the plan. What if they are planning for checkpoints to placed in the churches first. People are very trusting of their pastors and religious leaders.

The people would be more willing to take the vaccines and to be assigned health passports, if condoned by their religious leaders, and not think of them as being prophetic signs of the Beast.

I'm just thinking out loud, probably doesn't make sense, just like everything else about this craziness, just doesn't make sense.

That actually does make a lot of sense. Folks trust their preachers, and if they don't then that's not their preacher for long, so if the preacher says it's ok...

On the other hand, the folks who frequent the strip joints that are being allowed to remain open, they ain't got much for preachers, ergo no profit to be had in closing them down. Those folks will just say "Mark of the Beast? I got yer beast, right here, buddy!"

Something to think about I had not thought about before. And here I was just thinking that the selective closures biased against religious establishments was just another front in the Marxist War on Christianity.
