We all know by now the "mail ballot" Democrat BS is just a ploy to advance a cheating scam.

He stammers and stumbles as usual but gets the message out.

So who believes him (or doesn't) and why ? 

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci said this week there is “no reason” Americans can’t vote in person for the 2020 presidential election, so long as voters follow proper social distancing guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“I think if carefully done, according to the guidelines, there’s no reason that I can see why that not be the case,” Fauci told ABC News this week. “If you go and wear a mask, if you observe the physical distancing, and don’t have a crowded situation, there’s no reason why shouldn’t be able to do that.”

Fauci added that individuals who are “compromised physically or otherwise” and who are not interested in physically going to the polls on Election Day, can use mail-in voting.

But Fauci doubled-down, saying “there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be able to vote in person or otherwise.”

Really? President and his family are voting by mail. I never cease to be amazed by human fealty. Pwned is a bad for look for anyone. Forget anything and everything else, he is destroying the rule of law. The one that protects me and you. How did we get to the point that someone can lie straight up 95 percent of the time and the minion that pass themselves off as erudite and educated citizens feel that's okay and eat the pablum like it's actual sustenance? Doom is in the air and the wheels are coming off this wagon. I feel we'll be stranded very soon, regardless of which brand of tool is in the box, it's gonna be beyond fixing.

Absentee ballot voting is different than just regular voting by mail. Much safer, and the only reason he's having to do mail-in is because his residence is in FL and he's in D.C.

I'm at a loss to understand this post. How is this "destroying the rule of law"? last time I checked, the law is that US Citizens are allowed to vote in US elections. This is a statement that... US Citizens can vote in US elections. I'm not seeing the damage to "the rule of law" there. Please help me understand what on Earth you mean by this.

I see doom too, but I believe in my very core that it is a different doom than the one you see. More viewpoints make a more well-rounded and informed person, so I would like to figure yours out for my own edification and education.

With that said, I don't really know how to take this pronouncement from Fauci. He's been batting zero for months now, which is quite an accomplishment in light of the utterly contradictory statements he has been putting out - first one thing, then the diametric opposite. No one knows which way to jump when "leadership" waffles that much.

We are in agreement here. Absentee voting is every bit as useless as mail-in voting. Absentee ballots do not even get counted unless there are enough in any given precinct to affect the results of that precinct, and there rarely ever are. Absentee ballots travel the same routes as mail-in votes, and are therefore just as susceptible to loss, trash-canning, getting replaced by more favorable votes in the mail box by canvassers, or getting "forgotten" in someone's trunk unless and until they are needed to sway results. They are every bit as subject to being "vote milled" and inflated for this party or that as mail-in votes.

Absentee ballots are no more secure than mail-in ballots. It's just that with the current scheme, mail-in ballots are meant to be the majority of votes, so that "vote early, vote often" becomes a far more dangerous possibility.

And mail-outs are getting sent out without requests to every "name" on the registration rolls regardless of verification which means dead, moved away, etc.
