Cheers to her and you.

Of course, what else could you expect from a fine dog.   She was out with us this morning while we loaded the truck, that ran over her.

No fear.  Just getting on with normality.  I feel better and we both (truey and I) had an understanding chuckle.

You know cats and well. our 'cat' followed her at a discreet distance.  Seems like 'cat' is keeping a eye on her.

My regards to you and I sincerely extend my well wishes for your cat which may need an operation on the teeth.

I will post another pic of 'cat' and her later.

Cheers for your followup,

Bally :)

Thank you for your words as always.  My cat will have his surgery as scheduled next Wednesday.  Hopefully it won't take him long to recover.

I wish your Cat Well.
I know this must be stressful for you, it appears that pets are like Children/Family to everyone.
Sorry, never own a pet, scared to death of any dog (mauled as a toddler) cats I don't understand and rats and things stink, fish are only good for eating.
I might like to have a Duck.

I'd gladly be your pet duck but wouldn't like to be called "Peking".

Kind regards,

I had to laugh a bit as the one who acts like a child in my family is my dad.  The cat is more of a mature old soul then he will ever be.  Dad can't figure out how the cat will eat after fang removal.  He will do it the same way I did after having my teeth pulled, it called getting used to it.

You don't understand cats?  That's what makes them so special as they are beyond understanding most of the time.

Cats are weird.  Being weird is good.  Cats are good.
If I am not here then I am probably someplace else.

Am so glad for the saga to arrive at this point, Bally.

Remember how worried you were at first?

Cats are weird.  Being weird is good.  Cats are good.

I rate all animals here as good. No predators.  Most of our fauna and flora react with defense and it is deadly like my pet cat "Cranky" and loving dog "Deefa" found out when stalking.  They are buried in a special place in the garden among the fruit trees.

I myself have let my 'situational awareness' fade at infrequent times and acted on instinct and without thought and I have paid the price.  Hence running over my dog.  The others like our cats and dog stepped into the realm of native animals trying to defend our home or just sussing out the visitor.  A terrible death for them being bitten by a snake.

In retrospect I'm the same.  I don't mind the non venomous pythons that live within the house but if I catch a deadly snake in my kitchen and/or pantry it's curtain for that intruder regardless if they are a protected species.

The Pythons and Goannas take my chickens and eggs during the summer months but I relocate them.  I can't save a slithering bitey attacking snake in the larder when I go for some flour or rice.  It's the shovel for those reptiles.

My choice of living where I am.  Jeez I went on a bit didn't I.

My thoughts about 'cat' here is that it shows empathy and caring towards, 'Girlie'.  Your love for your cat is admirable.  It should all go well.

Yeah I was worried.  You're advice and comments were encouraging during the episode.  Thanks mate.

To be honest mate I'm still worried about her but she's adjusting very quickly.  Just a bit of a 'fuss ball' presently while she is at home.

Kind regards,

Bally:)

Crikey mate, catch up.

I'm trying to cook a Laksa dish here but I feel like I need a nap.  Girlie is resting nearby.  Her eyes are shut.  Mine are blinking.

Here goes another, cheers,

Good to hear she's home, @"Bally002".

Big change for her, but she'll adapt.

Cheers

Cheers to you.  I napped. I've finished the cooking and meal.  Will be sleeping on the lounge again tonight.

Lol.  I fell asleep sitting up.  Napped for an hour.  Neck was crooked and woke with a headache.  Still, I got dinner done.  Youngest lad now knows how to cook a seafood Laksa.  No excuses any more.  He's turning into a good cook.  I'm going to put a small thread in 'cooking' ? with some pics later.

Now back to another Whiskey.  Cheers to ya.

Yeah, I'm helping her out a bit up the kitchen stairs and onto the lounge but outside she still gets around.  You're right, she will adapt very quickly.

G'day drussell,

Yep, she has plenty of support and is being waited on.  She is a smart dog and I reckon there'll be no worries after the sutures are removed.

My regards,

Bally:)
