The link was for the top video.. for some reason the embed was working during posting and during edit but not after Posting or after saving changes..sometimes I think it's just the kindle.
Thanks for doing the embed for me!
And thanks for the compliment.. it makes cool music to work to!
The amazing Mr Heaton as vitriolic as ever, nicely wrapped up in bubblegum sounding pop
NSFW language
Not great sound quality, so here are the lyrics as well
[Verse 1]
Fuck the king, and fuck the queen, with an AK-47
Line them up against the walls, and let them talk to heaven
Give them same dice they gave us and let them roll a seven
Welcome to Heatongrad
When your friendly local tax dodger is lynched for all to see
And the newspaper editors swing from neighbouring tree
When the trains and buses, education, health & safety's free
Welcome to Heatongrad
[Chorus]
Remember Tonygrad?
Launching of the lad's might to the streets of Baghdad
That made you oh-so-sad
Left so far a cleft like the first meal they had
They treated dear old Blighty like some dirt-cheap shag
Now they're paying zero tax in Richard Branson's pad
[Verse 2]
Fuck the army, fuck the law, and fuck their uniform
You don't need no medal to know where you were born
You don't need no tattooed arm to know that you're now sworn
Sworn into Heatongrad
Rob the rich to feed the poor, we'll tax their bleedin' blood
Till the brain drain we dreamt about drains down to where it should
The sewer rat, the alley cat, are back in charge of hood
Welcome to Heatongrad
[Chorus]
[Bridge]
Freedom's just a clever word the mighty like to use
Election, chance to drop your pants and see who actually screws
Liberty don't pay your bills, put your kids in shoes
Welcome to Heatongrad
Where the only person using cars is those who cannot walk
For a wheelchair's an ability, not a chance to stop and gawk
Leave the army now, you fools, and join the Heaton corps
Sign up to Heatongrad
[Outro]
And advertising, patronising, sexualising young
[?Tip man's?] ladder of success and grease up every bum
Women, if you need a need a voice, with each and every lung
Sing along to Heatongrad
Sing along to Heatongrad...

This one is for @"guohua".
Hi MrsG!!
This is a great version of an Irish folk song, but the arrangement of the strings reminded me of some of your earlier posts of music from your homeland! (Hands across the water?? LOL)
This is quite a bit "softer" than the stuff you seem to like most.... but I hope that you enjoy it anyway!
Gx
PS - Sing Along!!! (I'll post the lyrics below...)
RIDE ON
"True you ride the finest horse I've ever seen
Standing 16 1" or 2" with eyes wild and green
And you ride the horse so well, hands light to the touch
I could never go with you no matter how I wanted to
Ride on, see you, I could never go with you
No matter how I wanted to
When you ride into the night without a trace behind
Run your claw along my gut one last time
I turn to face an empty space where once you used to lie
And look for a smile to light the night through a teardrop in my eye
Ride on, see you, I could never go with you
No matter how I wanted to"

Thread resurrection? I just happened to stumble across this one today.
Dr. Strangelov'in surrealism masterpiece:
Killing In The Name Performed By The North Korean Military Chorus (Rare Footage)
"The New World fell not to a sword but to a meme." – Daniel Quinn
"Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that." ― John Lennon

Not right now, but the last thing I listened to was :
My music taste is quite elaborate. Mostly I will listen to metal, then maybe rock , opera, etc only sometimes 'other'
I also love this:
That's quite the leap

Oh shit, finally a fellow metalhead. I've been into slam lately, but I've been down the metal rabbit hole for quite some time. If you like Infant Annihilator, you might like Thy Art is Murder. As far as slam, I've been binging Devourment. Not slam, but Acacia Strain is one of my favorites.

Makes sense. Your avatar looks a bit like an album cover , Devourment perhaps ? I love slam too. You mentioning it made me look up some on youtube. I will check out your suggestions

Hope you enjoy! Abominable Putridity is good slam too. @BIAD hooked me up with my avatar, but it does have some metalness to it
