on Beijing over its potential role in the outbreak.

US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he had seen intelligence that gave him a 'high degree of
confidence' that the global crisis had its origins in the institute – a month after The Mail on Sunday first revealed that
British Cabinet Ministers had received classified briefings raising the possibility of a leak from the institute.

 'There are clearly questions that need to be answered about the origin and spread of the virus,' a spokesman for Boris
Johnson said.

The edited material includes a page of the institute's website showing pictures of staff entering caves to take swabs from
bats carrying coronaviruses – with the scientists wearing minimal protective equipment. And the institute appears to have
also removed reference to a visit to the institute in March 2018 of Rick Switzer, a science and technology expert from the
US embassy in Beijing.

As a result of Mr Switzer's visit, cables were sent to the US State Department from the embassy warning about the risks
of the bat experiments. One read: 'During interactions with scientists at the WIV laboratory, they [the diplomats] noted the
new lab has a serious shortage of appropriately trained technicians and investigators needed to safely operate this high
-containment laboratory.'

 Last month, The Mail on Sunday published alarming pictures from inside the institute showing a broken seal on the door
of one of the refrigerators holding 1,500 different strains of virus. President Trump's remarks were misreported by some
media outlets, including the BBC and The Guardian, as placing him at odds with US spy agencies, which said that the
virus was not manmade or genetically engineered. 

In fact, that has long been the working assumption within security sources on both sides of the Atlantic.

Gay and bisexual men excluded from coronavirus blood plasma trial.

'Gay and bisexual men have been told they cannot take part in a blood trial which experts hope could serve
as a potential coronavirus treatment. People who have recovered from Covid-19 have been encouraged to
donate their blood plasmas, which will then be transfused to infected patients at London’s Guy’s and St
Thomas’s Hospital.



It is hoped the process, called convalescent plasma, will help patients whose immune systems are not producing
sufficient antibodies to fight the novel virus. But any man who has had sex with another man in the last three months
is excluded from the trial, which echoes current guidance on giving blood.

Critical care manager Andy Roberts, who had tested positive for Covid-19, said he was told he could not take part
as he is in a same-sex relationship. After a 20 minute call with an operator, Mr Roberts said he was quizzed on his
sexuality before being turned down.

His long-term partner, Keith Ward, said the rules were discriminatory against the LGBT+ community and that the
situation made him ‘feel very angry’. He told ITV News: ‘We have been together in a monogamous relationship for
more than 30 years and I previously didn’t know of this outrageous three-month rule.

‘It only goes to show that in the UK being gay is still thought as a form of contamination, so if you’re straight and sleep
with a different person every weekend it’s safer according to [the rules].’

Current guidelines set by the NHS Blood and Transplant service says ‘men who have sex with men are at an increased
risk of acquiring certain infections through sex’ and they still apply to those who have used protection.
The official Give blood website states: ‘Gay and bisexual men are not automatically prevented from giving blood.
‘However, all men must wait 3 months after having oral or anal sex with another man before donating.

‘This rule applies to every man, regardless of their sexual orientation, whether they’re in a stable relationship or whether
they use protection such as condoms or pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)’. So far, more than 6,500 people have signed
up to donate to the plasma trial.

Although it is not yet known how many antibodies build up in people who have beaten Covid-19, there have been some
promising signs of immunity with patients who have retained antibodies long after recovering,

If the treatment proves to be effective, NHS Blood and Transplant will begin a national programme to deliver up to 10,000
units of convalescent plasma per week to the NHS, enough to treat 5,000 patients each week. But Director of Policy at
Stonewall, Laura Russell, told ITV the donor guidelines were ‘really upsetting’ for gay and bi men who want to help in finding
a Covid-19 treatment.

She insisted the decision on who can donate blood or a plasma ‘should be based on individual risk assessments, not on
people’s sexual orientation’. A spokesperson for the NHS Blood and Transplant service said the trial will initially be run using
the current donor selection guidelines but will ‘keep this under review’.

It acknowledged ‘this deferral can feel disappointing if you want to save lives’ but said the three-month guidelines are in place
to ‘protect the health of the donor and the recipient’. The spokesperson added: ‘Separately to the convalescent plasma trial,
we are working with LGBT+ groups to explore whether we might be able to introduce a more individualised risk assessment

I was going to title this essay “Hydroxychloroquine: does it cure CONS” — with the joke being CONS as an abbreviation for Credulous Official Narrative Syndrome. But people dying and losing their livelihoods worldwide for no good reason is not a joke. Coronagate is the political con job that promises to eclipse all others, even against stiff competition like Spygate.
Here’s the bottom line: Dr Fauci and his institutional sponsors have known since at least 2005 that chloroquine — and its milder derivative hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) — inhibit coronaviruses like SARS from replicating in the body. They have withheld this important information from the public and failed to act on it when forming policy. Instead these besuited criminals have pushed experimental and expensive drugs, whilst having huge financial conflicts of interest.
This means that the present lockdown and the immense disruption and harm it is causing is for no real benefit. We could be offering cheap and effective prophylactic and therapeutic treatments for COVID-19, targeted at the vulnerable (like healthcare workers, elderly, those with comorbidities). Indeed, several countries are taking this course now with proven success.
Major Western nations are committing economic and social suicide to sustain an enormous lie about the integrity of those we trusted to protect us. This is a crime against humanity, and encompasses many in the pharma business, the corporate media, and in government. The size of the scandal cannot be overstated. Those responsible deserve the most severe punishment for ruining civil society.
The scammers buy influence over health policy
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has come under intense scrutiny in recent weeks. This entity has “donated”:

• At least $200m to the Clinton Foundation, which cannot pass the most rudimentary tests of compliance with charity law, but who could possibly have known it is corrupt…
  
• Another $250m to WHO, CDC, NIH who set and approve global health policy, whilst simultaneously profiting from developing and licensing vaccines in particular.
  
• Tens of millions of dollars to media companies like NPR, The Guardian, and the BBC, to ensure the media was bought off.
  

It is “donated” in quotes as the Foundation has major shareholdings in many pharmaceutical companies, and creates personal benefit for Mr Gates. This is not philanthropy, it is business fraudulently operating under a tax-free regime. Dr Fauci has sat on his vaccine initiative board, which means he is not a neutral player when it comes to selecting the best treatment on behalf of the public.
George Soros, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the WHO are all shareholders in UNITAID, the patent sharing subsidiary of Gilead, which coincidentally (!) is in Wuhan. Both Gilead and UNITAID have donated to the (ultra-corrupt) Clinton Foundation.
Remdesivir: a false hope
The media has been hyping this drug from Gilead, but you could easily draw the wrong conclusion without knowing the rest of the story:

• The drug is essentially useless as the damage is already done by a virus by the time the drug takes effect.
  
• The goalposts of the study were moved once it became clear that there was no benefit in mortality, only time to recovery.
  
• There is no statistical significance to even these results.
  
• There is no evidence that the intended effect (reduction in viral load) actually exists, or actually is timed after the cause (giving the medication).
  

The conflict of interest between the health policymakers and the salesmen of expensive drugs could not be starker than in this case. The US media knows who pays the piper and thus calls the tune of their editorial. Only the “alt media” is giving anything like the full picture.
A vaccine? Forget it (for now)!
Many are hoping for a vaccine to cure COVID-19, but this is a remote prospect, despite many being under development:

• The virus is mutating and lacks a stable genetic base. We don’t even have tests at this point with reliable false positive/negative rates, since we don’t know the mutation rate and profile.
  
• There is a massive scandal of the vaccine industry claiming to have quality controls when it lacked them. This lie now appears to have enabled all kinds of foreign DNA and viruses to enter humans, with mouse viruses potentially having caused an epidemic of human cancer. This is not the first time, with SV40 monkey viruses having contaminated polio to the same effect. Public trust is deservedly low, and you cannot claim legal immunity from negligence.
  
• The RNA technologies being proposed are novel and have no safety case. Their testing on humans without animal studies first is likely criminal. Establishing their effectiveness and long term safety will take many years. Given the understandable lack of public trust, getting them adopted voluntarily will be an uphill struggle. Doing it coercively involves breaches of human rights and the Hippocratic oath.
  

This means we need to look elsewhere for treatments, at least during 2020.
Hydroxychloroquine: the evidence of its effectiveness
The most compelling data for HCQ comes from Italy. 65,000 patients using it long-term for other conditions resulted in 20 COVID-19 infections and zero deaths. Turkey has made it the standard protocol for treatment of all COVID-19 patients, and has a low death rate as a result. Indeed, a whole list of nations, including India, have followed this path — giving it prophylactically to healthcare workers too. Israel has secured supplies of HCQ at the head of state level, and the Israelis are notoriously not stupid when it comes to medicine. Israel is allowing doctors to run their own trials with HCQ and has a very low death rate.
The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons has endorsed the use of HCQ as being 90% effective, noting:
To date, the total number of reported patients treated with HCQ, with or without zinc and the widely used antibiotic azithromycin, is 2,333, writes AAPS, in observational data from China, France, South Korea, Algeria, and the U.S. Of these, 2,137 or 91.6 percent improved clinically. There were 63 deaths, all but 11 in a single retrospective report from the Veterans Administration where the patients were severely ill.
There are successful studies on HCQ in the USA — 95% reduction in death; France — 88% reduction in death; and Brazil — 95% reduction in death. The only unsuccessful one was in the USA at the Veterans Administration, and was manifestly rigged to produce its result, by retrospective selection of an adverse population and giving the wrong protocol at the wrong time.
Whilst we might wish to have a double blind randomised controlled trial, we don’t have the time to perform one. Too many people will die unnecessarily. We understand the mechanism by which HCQ operates (opening the cell to allow zinc as the standard antiviral to enter) and when and how to give it (early in infection as possible, together with antibiotics to protect the lungs).
The “plandemic panic”
The British justification for lockdown and abandonment of “herd immunity” comes from the work of Prof Neil Ferguson of Imperial College in London. This institution has received over $185m from the Gates foundation. He has a truly appalling track record, having grotesquely mis-modelled foot and mouth disease, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disase, H5N1, and swine flu. But he was hired again for COVID-19, where he was only out by a factor of 20 on mortality, and made obvious errors like presuming frail elderly patients would need ventilators when this is well known to be inadvisable (as it kills them).
The combination of a cataclysmic death forecast with no known treatment is what then drove draconian lockdown policy. This was despite the policy being implemented so late it cannot have had any impact on the actual peak demand for healthcare. Whether done with integrity or as sabotage only history can tell. The damage is done now.
It is not just the UK where statistics have been used to terrorise the public into submission. In Italy, a member of parliament has made a statement to “[denounce] the closure of 60% of the businesses for 25,000 COVID-19 Deaths, of which the National Institute of Health says 96.3% died NOT of COVID-19 but of other pathologies. That means only 925 have died of the virus. 24,075 have died of other things.”
The crime
The smoking gun is a Virology Journal paper from 2005 from the NIH, where Dr Fauci was director: “Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.” COVID-19 is a SARS virus similar to the one from 2005. It is undeniable that this information was public and known to Dr Fauci and his colleagues.
The immediate consequence has been a massive misallocation of resources – Nightingale hospitals in London and other UK cities have been empty. Our healthcare system has failed to deliver care to many needing urgent operations for other illnesses.
The death toll from COVID-19 increasingly looks small compared to those from lockdown. There are an estimated 18,000 excess dead from cancer in the UK (due to delayed diagnosis and treatment)— up to 150,000 dead in UK from lockdown. If translated to the US by population, that could be ¾ million people dead from lockdown by the time this is all over. I hope the numbers come in far below this, but the negative health consequences of isolation and poverty are well known.
We also now face a massive loss of liberties and imposition of de facto martial law. This last point is not a minor one. Lord Sumption — a member of the British supreme court — writes in the Daily Mail:
To say that life is priceless and nothing else counts is just empty rhetoric. People say it because it is emotionally comfortable and avoids awkward dilemmas. But they don’t actually believe it.
We went to war in 1939 because lives were worth losing for liberty. We allow cars on the roads because lives are worth losing for convenience. We travel by air although pollution kills. We tut-tut about it, but we willingly do it.
To claim that all that matters is COVID-19 deaths is to insult all those with other mortal conditions, ignore those who will die from lockdown itself, and invalidate other valid goals like liberty. It is a narcissistic and masochistic position: “Look how virtuous I am in my sacrifice!”.
The cover-up
The medical establishment knows that it has been withholding cures, and that this is now an existential threat to its legitimacy. We have seen unprecedented action by regulators in multiple countries to prevent the off-label use of HCQ for COVID-19. If there is a cheap and immediate cure, it removes the market for expensive patented drugs, and exposes the con.
For example, in the USA the FDA has restricted its use to official clinical trials. To bring this to life, here is a quote from one American emergency room doctor:
[Dr] Dopko said in his 17 years of being a medical doctor, he has never seen the FDA issue restrictions on a drug like they have with hydroxychloroquine. “We’ve been told we’re not supposed to prescribe hydroxychloroquine for Covid-19 unless the person is in the hospital and it’s part of a clinical trial.”
“I’ve never seen this before. Doctors prescribe drugs for off-label use all the time,” he said.
The same has happened in France, where HCQ was suspiciously reclassified as a “poisonous substance” on 13th January, despite decades of safe use and being listed by WHO as an “essential medicine”. Remember, denying people essential medical care is a crime against humanity: this was done by the same Macron government that has used illegal LBD40 ammunition against civilian protestors in breach of the Geneva Convention.
The same also applies in the UK, where HCQ is not being promoted by the NHS as standard protocol; this means many are dying on ventilators or in nursing homes for no good reason. “Do not resuscitate” orders are being widely signed by the elderly, who are effectively being culled to pad the COVID-19 numbers and hide the overreaction. Yes, it’s that bad.
We also hear awful stories coming out of New York from whistle-blower nurses saying patients are being left to rot and die, since they lack family as advocates due to isolation of COVID-19 wards. The CDC has been caught reclassifying deaths, as the scam becomes too obvious. What happened to all the people dying of other causes, including old age? Where did they go? Where’s the public outcry at the obvious massaging of the death toll numbers?
The consequences
Given the scale of the impact of COVID-19, and the failure of the medical profession to contain it (despite having the tools), this could well spell the end of allopathic medicine and “pharmacide”. The functional and integrative people are the future: we need to put nutrition, immune system function, and actual wellbeing back into the heart of healthcare.
Coronagate is the deliberate withholding of a cure for COVID-19. The exposure of massive medical fraud enabled by media collusion will likely follow from it, for it is likely not the only condition or treatment where this is the case. The entire regulatory framework for medicine, and the licensing monopolies of practise, will be under pressure like never before. Laws like the 1939 Cancer Act in the UK need to be repealed to allow for radical new approaches by new entrants. Pharma advertising to the public needs to end immediately so media companies are no longer conflicted by their paymasters.
This scandal dovetails into others like Spygate and the targeting of General Flynn by Barack Obama’s FBI and DoJ holdovers. A corrupt media has covered up for a corrupt government, and neither could be brought to account (until now) due to a corrupt justice system. Many people — including Bill Gates and Dr Fauci — need to answer for their actions in court. Those in the media who have knowingly connived to hype the threat, yet withheld information about a cure, should face prison.
We do not know whether COVID-19 is natural or manmade, and if the latter whether its release is accidental or deliberate. To the extent that we have a good enough cure, it doesn’t matter at this point; indeed we may never know, as the truth could trigger WW3. COVID-19 is already the defining economic and social event of our lives, and Coronagate promises to be the defining governance scandal of modern history.
If we bring people to justice, and truly learn the lessons from it, it will trigger a deep reform our medical, media, and government institutions. If those reforms are successful, Coronagate could be the scandal to end all scandals. That is the only worthy legacy of the unnecessary death tolls of both COVID-19 and lockdown.

Coronavirus mutations: Scientists puzzle over impact.



'Researchers in the US and UK have identified hundreds of mutations to the virus which causes the disease Covid-19.
But none has yet established what this will mean for virus spread in the population and for how effective a vaccine might
be. Viruses mutate - it's what they do.

The question is: which of these mutations actually do anything to change the severity or infectiousness of the disease?
Preliminary research from the US has suggested one particular mutation - D614G - is becoming dominant and could
make the disease more infectious.

It hasn't yet been reviewed by other scientists and formally published.

The researchers, from the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, have been tracking changes to the "spike"
of the virus that gives it its distinctive shape, using a database called the Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data
(GISAID). They noted there seems to be something about this particular mutation that makes it grow more quickly
- but the consequences of this are not yet clear.

The research team analysed UK data from coronavirus patients in Sheffield. Although they found people with that particular
mutation of the virus seemed to have a larger amount of the virus in their samples, they didn't find evidence that those
people became sicker or stayed in hospital for longer.

'Mutations not a bad thing'
Another study from University College London (UCL) identified 198 recurring mutations to the virus.
One of its authors, Professor Francois Balloux, said: "Mutations in themselves are not a bad thing and there is nothing to
suggest SARS-CoV-2 is mutating faster or slower than expected.

"So far, we cannot say whether SARS-CoV-2 is becoming more or less lethal and contagious.
A study from the University of Glasgow, which also analysed mutations, said these changes did not amount to different strains
of the virus. They concluded that only one type of the virus is currently circulating.

Monitoring small changes to the structure of the virus is important in understanding the development of vaccines.
Take the 'flu virus: it mutates so fast that the vaccine has to be adjusted every year to deal with the specific strain in circulation.

Drug development
Many of the Covid-19 vaccines currently in development target the distinctive spikes of the virus - the idea is that getting your
body to recognise a unique element of the spike will help it to fight off the whole virus. But if that spike is changing, a vaccine
developed this way could become less effective.
At the moment this is all theoretical. Scientists don't yet have enough information to say what changes to the virus's genome
will mean.

Dr Lucy van Dorp, UCL study co-author, said being able to analyse a large number of virus genomes could be "invaluable to
drug development efforts". However, she told the BBC: "I love genomes, but there is only so much they can say."...'

High Contagiousness and Rapid Spread of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is the etiologic agent of the current rapidly growing outbreak
of 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), originating from the city of Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.

Initially, 41 cases of “pneumonia of unknown etiology” were reported to the World Health Organization by the Wuhan Municipal
Health Committee at the end of December 2019. On January 8, 2020, the pathogen was identified, and human-to-human
transmission was reported soon after.

By January 21, most provinces of China had reported COVID-19 cases. By March 16, the outbreak had led to >170,000 total
confirmed cases and >6,500 deaths globally. In a period of 3 months, an outbreak of apparent idiopathic pneumonia had
become the COVID-19 pandemic...'

Results.
The time from symptom onset to hospitalization to discharge or death.
Our estimate of the time from initial exposure to symptom onset (i.e., the incubation period) is 4.2 days (95% CI 3.5–5.1 days).
This estimated duration is generally consistent with a recent report by Guan et al. showing that the median incubation period is
4 days.

Our estimate is ≈1 day shorter than 2 previous estimates (1,11). One potential caveat of our estimation is that because most of the
case reports we collected were from the first few persons detected in each province, this estimation might be biased toward patients
with more severe symptoms if they are more likely to be detected.

The time from symptom onset to hospitalization showed evidence of time dependence.
Before January 18, the time from symptom onset to hospitalization was 5.5 days (95% CI 4.6–6.6 days), whereas after January 18,
the duration shortened significantly to 1.5 days (95% CI 1.2–1.9 days).

The change in the distribution coincides with news reports of potential human-to-human transmission and upgrading of emergency
response level to Level 1 by the China CDC. The emerging consensus about the risk for COVID-19 probably led to substantial
behavior changes among symptomatic persons, in terms of seeking more timely medical care during this period.

However, because most of the individual reports were collected in provinces other than Hubei, the change in durations might only
reflect changes in the rest of China (rather than in Hubei). We also found that the time from initial hospital admittance to discharge
was 11.5 days (95% CI 8.0–17.3 days) and from initial hospital admittance to death was 11.2 days (95% CI 8.7–14.9 days).
The time from symptom onset to death was estimated to be 16.1 days (95% CI 13.1–20.2 days)...'

CBS denies faking scene of crowded Michigan testing clinic alleged in Project Veritas sting.



'CBS News has denied faking a scene of novel coronavirus testing in Michigan by padding the drive-thru line with clinic
workers to make the health center look busier than it was, as alleged in a Project Veritas expose released Wednesday.

Employees of Cherry Health in Grand Rapids said they lined up in their vehicles outside the COVID-19 testing tent for
a May 1 segment on “CBS Morning News,” according to an interview with an unidentified “clinic insider” and hidden-camera
discussions with staffers.

“Apparently the news crew wanted more people in the line because they knew it was scheduled,” said a man identified as
Nick Ross, Cherry Health corporate cleaning site supervisor, in the footage. In a statement to the Washington Times, CBS
News denied that the crew staged such a scene, which would be a clear breach of journalistic ethics.

“CBS News did not stage anything at the Cherry Health facility. Any suggestion to the contrary is 100% false,” said the statement,
which was also posted on the Project Veritas website. “These allegations are alarming.”

The network said that nobody involved with the story featuring on-camera reporter Adriana Diaz was aware that anyone in the
line was a clinic employee, but discovered after contacting Cherry Health that at least one staffer was involved in padding the line.

“We reached out to Cherry Health to address them immediately,” the CBS statement read. “They informed us for the first time
that one of their chief officers told at least one staffer to get in the testing line along with real patients.
No one from CBS News had any knowledge of this before tonight.”

The network added: “They also said that their actions did not prevent any actual patients from being tested. We take the accuracy
of our reporting very seriously and we are removing the Cherry Health portion from the piece.”

Faking such a scene would be beneficial to both CBS and the health center, according to the unidentified “insider,” who said he
contacted Project Veritas about the incident.

“I think it’s a little bit of a benefit for both parties,” he said. “I do know Cherry Health is struggling a little bit financially, they’re a nonprofit
so they get a lot of their money from donors or grants, so it just makes them look productive.
And on the side of the news, they want the line to appear bigger than it is just for reporting purposes to show that this is a big deal that
people are getting tested in massive numbers.”

The Washington Times has reached out to the clinic for comment. Cherry Health President and CEO Tasha Blackmon told Project Veritas
in a phone conversation, “We and CBS News had nothing to do with that line,” according to the undercover journalism outfit.
That wasn’t the impression left by the hidden-camera footage, which indicated that staffers worked with the news crew to fake the scene.

The insider said that one or two of those in line were real patients, according to the testers, “which added to their frustration because this
line sat there for a while so they could organize the shot,” he said.

Said an unidentified nurse: “It’s just annoying because we could have done other stuff.”
“We pretended,” said a woman identified as Alison Mauro-Lantz in the undercover footage. “There were a couple of real patients, which
made it worse.” A woman identified as Maria Hernandez-Vasquez, a professional registration specialist, said a clinic executive asked
her to participate in the phony line.

“She said she wants just to make it look busy for the news ‘cause they’re right there,” Ms. Hernandez-Vasquez said in the undercover footage.
The segment, called “Michigan Ramps Up Testing” and introduced by “CBS Morning News” host Gayle King, focused on the importance of
expanded testing as the state seeks to reopen after shutting down vast swaths of the economy for the coronavirus.

Project Veritas has been accused of deceptively editing footage in its undercover stings, which PV president James O’Keefe has strenuously
denied. “In a time of crisis, we have to be able to trust these institutions,” Mr. O’Keefe said in the video.

Yep, a festival of dance, drugs and carnal convulsions. It's a place and time in London where Mr. Whitey can visit and prove
that they're not racist and embrace the idea that some cultures are better than others... as long as it's not connected to being
Caucasian.

It's a great time for the media too, they don't have to travel far, they get to assuage their diversity quotas and enforce the idea

So Mayor Khan will be contemplating financial redress for the participants, that's if they promise to vote for him in the oncoming

Oddly enough, Friday's Victory-In-Europe celebrations were shown on the television with optics of quiet Union-Jack-bunting-strewn
streets, small parties of people of a certain age dressed in 1940's fashions, talking across the recommended distance and an overall
feeling of a time when dry-humping a stranger wasn't a thing.
There was a word to explain this and it harks back to that time of relief and at the same time, decorum, after the war.
But it escapes me at the moment.

What surprised me -well, not really, was that the majority of the footage was gathered from outside the London area and one has
to wonder if such terrible hostilities and life-taking combat of that time could be classed as a 'world war', why didn't the dying media
-who are all based in the capital, just film and report VE celebrations from places close by like Notting Hill and Newham?

Yes, sadly the Notting Hill Carnival is cancelled this year, but I'm sure they'll set-up something to allow displays of simulated-lust

This is the guy the UK Government trusted to give them the scientific evidence for its citizens to stay indoors and adhere to
safe-distancing. Neil Ferguson of the Imperial College -also known as 'Professor Lockdown'  is best identified for his crucial
role in persuading Boris Johnson to introduce the strict measures, did a whoopsie and had his married lover around for a
bit of rumpy-pumpy (extra-marital sex!).


Ferguson, the wife -Kim Polgreen, the lover -Antonia Staats and the inadequate husband -Chris Lucas.
(In my own non-scientific view, they're all fucking whimps.)

'Ferguson is acting director of the Vaccine Impact Modelling Consortium (VIMC), which is based at Imperial College in London.
According to Ferguson’s biography on the website, “much of [his] work is applied, informing disease control policy-making by
public and global health institutions.”



The professor who derailed Johnson’s semblance of “herd immunity” strategy is no stranger to controversy and is described as
having a “patchy” record of modelling pandemics by one of his academic peers, Professor Michael Thrusfield of Edinburgh
University, an expert in animal diseases.

Ferguson was instrumental in the modelling of the British Government’s response to Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in 2001,
which Thrusfield describes as “not fit for purpose” (2006) and “seriously flawed” (2012). Thrusfield has highlighted the limitations
of Ferguson’s mathematical modelling methods, and applied the doubts he expressed over FMD to the current Covid–19 “crisis”
response.

An estimated twelve million animals were slaughtered as a result of Ferguson’s 2001 initiative.
The farming community was devastated by suicides and bankruptcies that irretrievably altered the landscape of British agriculture 
-forcing healthy smallholdings into agri-corporate mergers and empowering the EU central governance in the agricultural sector.

Insight: Slaughtered on Suspicion, a documentary made by UK Column in 2015, provides a shocking insight into the suffering
precipitated by Ferguson’s model and the “new normal” imposed upon Britain’s farming community.
The following is a statement made by one of the contributors to the programme:

12,000,000 animals [Meat & Livestock Commission statistic] were slaughtered but that did not include lambs
at foot, aborted lambs, calves or piglets. Further, tens of thousands of chickens were slaughtered in the early
months — on welfare grounds, apparently. 88% of all animals slaughtered had not contracted FMD
[source: Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs].

Great Orton airfield was used to slaughter sheep under the “voluntary” cull: that was anything but voluntary, and
farmers not participating were ruthlessly threatened. There was only one mild case of FMD recorded from the
thousands of blood tests done at Great Orton

There was a travelator that ran from the slaughter tent at Great Orton to the graves.
This ran 16 hours a day, transporting “dead” young lambs. Slaughtermen working there told me that many of the
lambs were buried alive.

The man that advised Blair during this fiasco was, as many will know, Prof. Ferguson of Imperial College.
He was [reportedly] sacked by DEFRA late on during the epidemic, but the damage had been done! Prof Ferguson
was awarded an OBE in 2002 for his work during FMD 2001.”

In 2002, Ferguson predicted that up to 50,000 people would die from variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, better known as
“mad cow disease”, increasing to 150,000 if the epidemic expanded to include sheep.

The reality is:
Since 1990, 178 people in the United Kingdom have died from vCJD, according to the National CJD Research & Surveillance 
Unit at the University of Edinburgh.” [2017]

In 2005, Ferguson claimed that up to 200 million people would be killed by bird-flu or H5N1.
By early 2006, the WHO had only linked 78 deaths to the virus, out of 147 reported cases.

In 2009, Ferguson and his team at Imperial College advised the government that swine flu or H1N1 would probably kill 65,000
people in the UK.
In the end, swine flu claimed the lives of 457 people in the UK.

Now, in 2020, Ferguson and Imperial College have released a report which claims that half a million Britons and 2.2 million
Americans may be killed by Covid–19.

The report has still not been peer-reviewed; despite this and Ferguson’s glaring record of mathematical sensationalism,
the British Government has adopted the devastating socio-economic lockdown that Ferguson has proposed...'
