Fellow Rogues,
Being in Lockdown is hard.
I'm an outdoorsy type of guy and I sorely miss the rustle of the trees, the breeze in my... well ok... uhm, the sound of the birds chirping etc etc
So, how do I cope with being cooped up at home all the time?
Well, I'm lucky that my PC sits in my conservatory facing onto my back garden, and the hills beyond. There's almost always something to see... garden birds at our feeders, rabbits in the neighbours garden... a buzzard circling overhead... the wind turbine blades doing their hypnotic circles way out on the horizon and so on.
But, when the weather's bad, or if I want to just close my eyes and relax... I've found a new best friend, an antidote to stress and crises of any kind!
It's a Youtubby channel which hosts many videos of long, peaceful nature scenes. From rivers and woods to camp fires and mountain streams.... I love it!
Ladies, Gents and @BIAD... I give you The Silent Watcher...
The Silent Watcher
If you're feeling a bit stressed by the current crisis (or anything really), then I can highly recommend it!
Now, what's your favourite going to be?
Mine is currently this one:
Enjoy,
G
