I know of no circumstances that would make defending one's own nation or the citizens thereof from unprovoked attacks to be a "war crime" or "indiscriminate murder" or any of the other opinions expressed. That would make the British defense of the UK during WWII against German attackers to also have been a "war crime", and I am certain it wasn't.
Israel is in the same boat, what with daily unprovoked rocket attacks against it's own territory, just as Britain was done to in WWII by German V-42 rockets. If Israel is guilty of "war crimes" for the offence of defending itself, then so was Britain for doing the same in WWII against Nazi Germany, and I cannot abide by such opinion.
Everyone has a right to self defense against attack, regardless of their skin color or headgear or religious conviction.

My point was that recently, with the UK Police taking the knee at a George Floyd rally in London,
Pubically-funded Police vehicles being painted to support Gay rights and law enforcement leaders

ones involving their employment.
This Syrian/British Police Officer is indicating such a perception is incorrect.

I had no qualms of your posting the video, nor do I think I missed the general direction of it, or why you posted it. I was referring more to the comments by citizens posted in the video, ostensibly to support the officer, but really looking more like they were in the direction of just trashing Israel for defending itself.
It just gripes my ass that so many private citizens are willing to jump on the enemy's bandwagon in order to appear to be cool and trendy. I cannot fathom why they are willing to cut their own throats to hand over a victory to their enemies. It's an alien thought process to me.
I have no great love for Israel, but if Israel is not allowed to defend herself, then no other nation should be able to, either, in the interest of fairness. If Israel, as a sovereign nation, is to be disallowed to defend itself, then ALL nations should be equally castrated.
On the subject of the officer herself, I believe she ought to be fired. Not for having an opinion, because opinions are like assholes, everybody has one and most stink, but for taking a political stance while in uniform. That gives a perception that the constabulary is no longer impartial. if a constabulary is not impartial, how can they reasonably be expected to provide equal protections under the law?
So I think walking papers for that officer are in order. The constabulary cannot continue to promote the illusion of apolitical impartiality with officers going off willy-nilly in uniform and promoting political causes against the best interests of their charges. it's the job of the higher-ups in the hierarchy to see to it that does not go unpunished, for giving the entire force a black eye.

I'm right with you on your replies, shouting for Hamas does seem vogue, which shows -in my opinion, how far Left the MSM have

group of Germans from yesteryear!
Bad optics!
The current direction of the UK Police Force -certainly in London, seems to be at the urging of Commissioner Dame Cressida Dick
of the Metropolitan Police Service. She's into diversity and the 'kum-ba-yah'-style of policing the public and due to her own sexual

Access to commercial properties -especially a bank premises, is difficult unless those in official positions on Councils
and in Estate Agents felt comfortable in allowing assumingly-perspective customers to enter these properties.
Hence the comment from the Police that this a 'complex' case.
An initial search shows that the Commercial Street mentioned is not in Bradford, but in the small town of Batley,
eight miles away from Bradford.
Maybe there's something in the photograph that The Sun newspaper shows that could've provided a clue?!!
Here's mine taken from Google maps.

His body was then found on December 29 of that year at a former bank on Commercial Street in the city.
Police made three arrests related to his murder in Bradford and one in Surrey on Thursday.
Qaisar Shah, 36, Sabbah Shahmuradi, 36, Sobia Syed, 37, and Zaban Syed, 60, are all set to appear at Leeds Magistrates

property.
Meanwhile, Shahmurad, from French's Wells in Woking, has been charged with murder and conspiracy to kidnap.
Sobia Syed and Zaban Syed, both from Bradford, have been charged with conspiracy to possess criminal property, police

When people finally wake up to the notion that predators prefer places of trust to prey on the vulnerable,
then putting a stop to such vile acts will improve.
Quote:Serial paedo who worked at kids' hospital jailed for life for 35-year sex crime spree
Paul Farrell was handed a life sentence with a minimum term of 18 years at Wood Green Crown Court.
He admitted 76 offences against eight victims between 1985 and 2020
'A former Great Ormond Street Hospital porter has been handed a life sentence after admitting a string
of sexual offences against young boys. Paul Farrell, 55, was sentenced to a minimum term of 18 years
at Wood Green Crown Court.
Farrell and his former place of employment.
His campaign of abuse stretched over 35 years as he admitted 76 offences against eight victims between
1985 and 2020, but police fear the true scale of his sickening crimes may be much larger.
Prosecutors think the true figure of abuse instances could number in the thousands.
None of his victims were patients at the famous children's hospital, where he worked between 1994 and 2020,
but Farrell used a linen storage room to molest two of his victims. The sicko stole toys from the wards to use as
bribes for his victims, and "ruthlessly exploited" vulnerable boys. He put them in fear of dire repercussions if they
tried to report him.
Handing down a life sentence, Judge Noel Lucas QC said Farrell has caused "utter devastation" to his victims
and their parents. He said: "For the whole of your adult life, you have pursued your predatory interest in committing
intimate sexual activity with very young boys, with an all-consuming determination irrespective of their attempts to
make you desist.
"You have gone about your predatory interest in sexual activity with young boys with a great deal of cunning and planning.
You are clever."
The judge concluded Farrell has a "deep-seated fixation with sexual activity with very young boys", and had "instilled in
them a real fear of what might happened if they disclosed what was happening to them".
He added: "It is clear you have gone about your predatory interest in engaging in intimate sexual activity with very young
boys with a very great deal of cunning and planning."
Judge Lucas QC finished by saying that he is unsure whether Farrell's obsession with young boys will ever diminish and
he will only be released from prison by the Parole Board if it is safe to do so.
Farrell was sacked by Great Ormond Street when his sickening offending came to light last year.
The court heard how the paedophile targeted children after offering to babysit for their parents, abusing groups of brothers
after integrating himself into the families...'

Quote:'LOST CAUSES' Vulnerable girl reported missing 197 times as grooming gang victims as young as 11 are STILL being failed by police
'Grooming gang victims as young as 11 are still being failed by police, as thousands of vulnerable girls are
repeatedly reported missing. One girl at risk of abuse was reported missing 197 times to cops - suggesting
such cases are viewed as "lost causes", according to an investigation.
Figures disclosed under the Freedom of Information Act revealed that since 2018 there have been at least
56,479 instances of missing children at risk of abuse in Britain. The victims were most commonly aged between
14 and 16 - although some were as young as 11.
Only two thirds of police forces across the country disclosed their data on the issue, The Times reports.
West Yorkshire police have recorded more than 5,500 cases of children going missing since 2018 while believed
to be at risk of sexual abuse. One of these children, whose identity cannot be revealed, was reported missing 197
times. Two other kids were reported missing to the force more than 100 times each.
Humberside police disclosed that four children had gone missing more than 100 times each, with one of them
disappearing 156 times in the past three years. When asked for internal intelligence reports on the policing of
child sexual exploitation, a Hertfordshire police report from 2019 revealed a “low number of positive outcomes”
in these cases.
The findings stated: “Much of the current focus surrounds safeguarding victims with little evidence of the exploiters
being investigated.” The “missing episodes” are recorded when parents or social workers cannot find a child known
to be at risk of sexual exploitation and call the police.
The majority of victims are under-age girls and many are thought to run away repeatedly to visit older abusers who
groom them with money, alcohol and drugs. Police forces said they did all they could to find missing children and
return them safely as quickly as possible, while having regular meetings with social workers to protect those who
regularly disappear.
They said that child sexual exploitation was a key priority and they had dedicated teams working to safeguard victims
and prosecute offenders. They insisted cases of children going missing more than 100 times “are the exception”.
'SHAMEFUL'
But Nazir Afzal, a former chief crown prosecutor who brought justice to victims of the Rochdale grooming gang, said:
“If a child goes missing once, the police throw all resources at it. "When a child goes missing two, three and then a
hundred times they lose interest.
“We thought we had confronted this ten years ago. What seems to have happened is police have gone back to their
old ways.”...'
Sarah Champion, the Labour MP for Rotherham, where mass offending by grooming gangs was exposed, added:
“Going missing is the main early warning sign. "Given police know this, the fact that some children are still going
missing this often is shameful.”
Simon Bailey, chief constable of Norfolk and the National Police Chiefs’ Council lead for child protection, said forces
had “vastly improved” their support for missing children in recent years. He said: “We know there is more to do.
Protecting children is not something the police can do alone and we are working with social services, local government,
charities and others to make sure everyone fulfils their responsibilities.”
The Home Office and Department for Education said they were working with agencies to improve data on child sexual
exploitation and to support vulnerable children while proposed legal changes would help target offenders...'
So after all the Hearings and all the investigations into why the Police were too-scared of being accused of racism,
the terror of the grooming-gangs continue.

Ah... you're thinking the images below are of a brawl in some third-world town where lawlessness is the norm
and violence goes hand-in-hand with the standards of that society.
Nah... it's just London again.
Quote:Sickening moment thugs slash each other with giant blades in Greenwich knife battle leaving man fighting for his life
'This is the sickening moment thugs slashed at each other with giant blades in broad daylight - leaving a man battling for his life.
Neighbours screamed for the four brawlers to stop as they fought with knives, machetes and a hammer during a horrifying row
on the streets of London.
Cops dashed to the scene after violence exploded in North Greenwich, leaving terrified locals begging for help.
But one man was critically hurt - and is facing a fight for his life in hospital.
A witness shot film of the men hacking at each other during the "terrible" brawl.
The disturbing footage shows the yobs lunging at each other with knives. One, who is stripped to the waist and barefoot, holds a
huge machete in one hand and a hammer in the other. A second, in grey jogging bottoms and a navy t-shirt, can be seen with a
carving-style kitchen knife. Neighbours can be seen in the video dashing onto their balconies as the men shout.
One woman screams out: "It's not worth it, stop it. F***ing stop it, all of you." At one point, the man with the machete appears to slash
a second fighter's wrist. The man can be seen glancing at his injury before stepping forward and jabbing at his opponent's face.
And in film recorded from another flat, a resident can be heard urging a woman to call police while two of the fighters spar.
The man with the machete chases the others around a bin collection truck while a worker in high-vis tries to get away.
But one of the thugs hides behind the truck - stepping out suddenly to punch out with his knife.
"There were four guys - they got into a fight and all of them had a knife," the witness said. "One of them had a machete almost 20
inches long. "It looked like three of the guys were fighting the fourth. They all seemed to be on the same side, apart from him.
"The fight went on in a big circle around the buildings - it covered about 200 metres and it went on for about eight minutes.
"They were chasing each other, throwing bottles at each other, using the knives - it looked like more than just one was wounded,
but the man who was injured looked to be in a bad way. "They said he wasn't doing well."
Cops were called to residential Barge Walk, close to the River Thames, shortly before 4.30pm yesterday.
The area is popular with families and workers, the witness said. "It was absolutely terrible - shocking," he added.
"This is a nice area but it was like something you'd expect to see in Manaus in Brazil, rather than on the streets of London."
A spokesperson from the Met Police has urged anyone with information on the frightening attack to come forward.
“Officers are investigating after a stabbing in Greenwich," he said. “Police were called at 4.23pm to Barge Walk in south-east London
to reports of men fighting. "A man was found at the scene with apparent stab wounds.
“London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance attended the scene...'
'..."There are no arrests arrests at this time...'
It appears that fencing lessons and strategy may once again come into vogue in London Town.
People have been trading injuries for thousands of years. Take away one injurious tool, and they will find another, and just continue trading gaping wounds with one another. Before guns, there were swords - and there will be once again, after guns are gone. This is a prime demonstration of that principle. Before swords, there were clubs and spears. take away the swords (as has happened in Ireland to my understanding), and once again clubs and spears will become the tool of choice.
Before spears and clubs, there were rocks and fists. You see where this is going. people intent on ending other people will always find a way, and there will always be people intent on ending other people.
Better to just not give up the weapons one has, learn to use them properly, and secure one's self when he detects that there is about to be imminent violence.

surrounded by large crowds of people watching on. Det Supt Alex Bingley said: "We urge anyone who knows or can

Quote:Priti Patel seeks ban on social media posts that ‘glamourise’ migrant crossings
'Priti Patel has been accused of attempting to deflect blame from the UK government’s failure to assist refugees
after she told social media companies to remove posts that “glamourise” migrant crossings.
The home secretary wrote to firms on Saturday urging them to do more to remove “totally unacceptable clips” that
she said promote “lethal crossings”.
Priti Patel and the terrified France-fleeing illegal migrants seeking a hotel.
The letter followed a viral video posted on TikTok that the Home Office said appeared to show a group of men crossing
the Channel in a dinghy. It said similar posts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter had been used by people smugglers
to promote crossings.
However, campaigners suggested Patel should look closer to home when examining the reasons why people resorted
to such desperate measures.
Minnie Rahman, the campaigns director at the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants, said: “Social media companies
have a responsibility to keep people safe, but it is no surprise that Patel is looking to the place the blame outside the Home
Office. “Patel has chosen to take a frantic, chaotic and irresponsible approach to the asylum system, which will only push
desperate people further into the hands of people smugglers and traffickers, and make journeys more deadly.
The government must stop ignoring all evidence, stay committed to the refugee convention and ensure that people are able to
travel to the UK safely.” Almost 600 migrants were intercepted attempting to cross the Channel in three days last week.
In the first four months of this year, the total number making the crossing –2,108 –was more than double the 896 who crossed
in the same period last year.
Clare Moseley, the founder of Care4Calais, which supports asylum seekers in northern France and in the UK, said:
“There is nothing remotely glamorous about Channel crossings.
Desperate people put their lives at risk to make this journey and for some it is the last trip they make.
“Despite the fact that most refugees don’t choose to come to the UK, there are those who have their
only remaining family here or have other connections that are strong enough to be worth risking their
lives for. In these desperate cases the lack of a safe alternative pathway makes a dangerous trip in
an unsuitable boat the only viable option.”
Campaign groups have repeatedly warned that the UK government’s approach, which focuses largely on physically obstructing
the crossings, would not deter migrants from attempting the dangerous journey. Last year, four members of the same family died
trying to cross the Channel in high winds after two failed attempts to reach Britain.
Enver Solomon, the chief executive of the Refugee Council, said: “There are limits to what this government can achieve by seeking
to tackle people smuggling through addressing social media posts and taking an enforcement and deterrence approach.
“Creating safe routes to the UK – through an expanded resettlement programme, humanitarian visas, and reforming the restrictive
family reunion rules – is what this government needs to be focusing on to address the issue.”
In her letter, Patel said: “Posts which promote and even glamourise these lethal crossings are totally unacceptable.
They encourage others to leave a safe European country and put theirs and their family’s life at risk and are even used by

Quote:Monkeypox outbreak in UK is latest viral threat Matt Hancock says he’s ‘dealing with’
'The UK is “dealing with” an outbreak of monkeypox, Matt Hancock has revealed. The health secretary did not give any
details of where cases were, or how many. But The Sun has been told there are two cases in North Wales.
The first case caught the virus abroad before passing it onto someone in the same house. They were admitted to a hospital
in England, where one remains. Both are being monitored by Public Health Wales and Public Health England.
The cases would be only the fifth and sixth cases ever recorded in the UK.

Richard Firth, Consultant in Health Protection at Public Health Wales, said: "Confirmed cases of monkeypox are a rare event
in the UK, and the risk to the general public is very low. “We have worked with multi agency colleagues, following tried and tested
protocols and procedures, and identified all close contacts. Actions have been put in place to minimise the likelihood of further
infection.
“Monkeypox is a rare disease caused by the monkeypox virus and has been reported mainly in central and West African countries.
Mr Hancock was speaking at the Health and Social Select Committee today about his response to the Covid pandemic.
He said: “The tracing and isolation system was essentially built for very important but very small outbreaks.
“As Health Secretary, you’re dealing with outbreaks all the time. I'm currently dealing with a monkeypox outbreak and cases of
drug-resistant TB [tuberculosis]. That is absolutely standard.”
The "outbreak" of resistant TB - uncommon in the UK - is one case in England.
Prof Isabel Oliver, Director of the National Infection Service, Public Health England, said: "Public Health England is working with
NHS E colleagues on the management of a case of extensively drug resistant tuberculosis in England.
"Close contacts of the individual have been informed and all necessary public health actions have been put in place to prevent
the onward transmission of this infection. The risk to the general public is very low.’
Monkeypox has been seen just four times in the past, with cases dating back to 2018 and always in travellers from other countries.
However an NHS nurse once caught the virus in 2018 while changing the bedsheets of a patient in hospital, blaming "pathetically
small" protective gloves. The most recent case was seen in South West England in December 2019 in someone who had visited
Nigeria.
What is monkeypox?
Monkeypox is a virus that passes to humans from wild animals - called a zoonotic disease.
Cases primarily are diagnosed in tropical rainforest areas of Central and West Africa, according to the World Health
Organization (WHO). But even in the countries affected, there have been few cases.
It typically causes a fever, rash and swollen lymph nodes.
It’s spread from person to person by touching clothing or bedding of an infected person or their spots or scabs.
You can also catch monkeypox if someone with it sneezes or coughs near you, the NHS says
But the risk of catching it is considered low because it doesn't easily spread between people.
The largest outbreak known was six people, the WHO says.
Monkeypox, in most cases, is a mild condition which will resolve on its own within a few weeks and have no long-term effects.
Can monkeypox kill?
According to WHO, the monkeypox virus is similar to human smallpox. Although monkeypox is much milder than smallpox, it can
be fatal. It has a mortality rate of between one and 10 per cent, with most deaths occurring in younger age groups...'
