Oh yes and it makes sense on one way. It's possibly based on the idea that if people stayed indoors, there's a better
chance of them not being stabbed in the street. Think Morocco a hundred years-ago and you have the idea.
Meanwhile, an update on the Policeman murder.
Quote:Croydon police murder suspect named as Louis De Zoysa, 23, with Green party candidate mum and yoga teacher dad.
'The Croydon police station shooting suspect has been named as Louis De Zoysa.
De Zoysa, 23, was the man held in a police station custody suite when one of five shots fired from a smuggled revolver
cut down much-loved cop Sgt Matt Ratana.
De Zoysa and Sgt. Ratana.
The alleged gunman remains critically ill in hospital after the last bullet tore into his own neck in a struggle with the shot
cop’s colleagues at Croydon Police Station, South London. Police were still probing how the suspect allegedly concealed
a revolver in his pants after his stop-and-search arrest for possession of Class B drugs and ammunition.
And it remained unclear how the suspect managed to draw the hidden weapon and allegedly shot dead 54-year-old Sgt
Ratana when his hands had been cuffed behind his back. Details emerged yesterday of De Zoysa’s outwardly respectable
but unstable upbringing in a large end-terraced house in Norbury, South London, last night.
His yoga teacher father Channa, 55, has posted snaps of his supple frame online while his mother Elizabeth is a local
Green Party activist and former election candidate. Louis lives with the couple at their £717,000 [$921,850] house
leafy Southbrook Road, Norbury with his Oxford University student brother John and sister Channika.
But neighbours told last night how the De Zoysa’s 28-year-marriage had come under strain -and that police had been seen
at the house prior to the shooting.
Sri Lankan-born Channa appeared before magistrates in March 2015, where he was made the subject of a restraining order
against his British wife, who worked as an interpreter. But the order was withdrawn at Camberwell magistrates’ court in March
last year, after the pair reconciled.
Neighbours described Louis as “very awkward”. One said: “I don’t think he had many friends. He was probably a bit of a loner."
The suspect’s father Channa posted Facebook pictures in a bid to boost his yoga business and more snaps of his cycling hobby.
Brother Johnty attended the prestigious John Fisher’s school in Purley and studied Engineering at the University of Oxford.
Another neighbour said: “They were noisy neighbours. They had two dogs who were very rowdy - they used to come out and
chase people around.
“Louis was very awkward. He was always to himself.” Another local added: “The police have been going round there every couple
of months. “The last time was probably two months ago. I’m not sure what it was over.”
Others said the family “don’t really speak to anyone” in the street following a string of rows about their unruly dogs.
Police sealed off Southbrook Road as forensic teams continued work at the family’s home, where the couple have lived for 25 years.
Specialist homicide investigators from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are continuing to investigate the shooting.
Sgt Ratana was the first ever officer to be killed inside a British police station - and his killer’s motive remains a mystery.
But counter-terrorist cops were not involved in inquiries, despite the suspect being flagged to Home Office’s Prevent deradicalisation
programme two years ago.
Bosses took no action over claims that he held both extreme Islamist and right wing views after he was assessed to pose no threat. De Zoysa is said to be autistic and of Sri Lankan heritage.
It came as a man was detained in Norwich, at about 2am yesterday morning and taken to a station in south London to be quizzed
in relation to the supply of the firearm that killed Sgt Ratana. On Saturday morning armed cops raided a farmhouse in Surrey in
connection with the shooting.
Officers are thought to have used explosives to blow off the door of a property at Courtlands Farm near Banstead Wood.
A neighbour revealed they heard an explosion just before 6am and saw about 20 police cars.
Cops swooped on four locations linked to the suspect on Saturday, including a house in nearby Norbury.
"The police have been outside the address since yesterday morning," another neighbour told MailOnline.
"All we know is that it's connected to the incident in Croydon."
SUSPECT CRITCALLY ILL
Forensics are checking the gun, while CCTV and bodycams are also being examined.
It comes after The Sun revealed De Soyza was believed to have been revived by medics after he died in hospital.
Cops also remain baffled at the suspect fired the fatal shot that hit Sgt Ratana with his hands cuffed behind his back.
Sources suggest the gun’s barrel may have been concealed in an intimate place inside his pants.
Traumatised cops who survived the shooting will be quizzed once mentally fit.
Police searches are taking place at four locations - the custody suite, the site where he was arrested, and two addresses.
He was referred to the Prevent anti-terror scheme in 2018 over alleged Islamist and right-wing views.
Deputy assistant commissioner Stuart Cundy said investigators have CCTV from the custody suite and bodyworn video from the
officers. Mr Cundy said: “I would reiterate this is a murder investigation not a counter-terror one.”
He added: "We have recovered the gun from the custody suite where Matt was shot and that gun is being forensically examined.
"We also have CCTV from that custody suite which shows the events, and we have body-worn video of our police officers who
were involved in the circumstances surrounding the arrest of the suspect."
POINT BLANK
De Soyza was taken to the custody centre in Windmill Lane where he remained handcuffed until a door was opened for him to
be searched with a metal detector. "The sergeant opened the door to admit him and take his temperature to comply with Covid
rules. But the suspect shot him at point-blank range, " a source said.
They added: "It would appear the suspect has somehow managed to conceal the gun on his body.”
"However, there are rules preventing any intimate body searches on the street. It can only be done when a suspect is booked into
a custody suite." The gunman blazed off more shots, five in all, in a fierce struggle in the corridor at 2.15am.
One hit himself in the neck, leaving him critical and under armed guard in hospital last night.
Desperate colleagues battled to save the stricken officer's life. Medics performed open heart surgery on Sgt Ratana at the
custody centre. He was airlifted to hospital but later pronounced dead.
The 54-year-old dad was just months from retirement - and it was revealed he had moved to work in custody as it was safer...'
@"BIAD", surely there is a future for him with the Special Air Service ?
A serious question for you. Much of the mayhem seems to not so much be in the U.K. as it is in England. Do Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland suffer the same incidence of social dysfunction ? If not, then why would that be ?

Islam does not want to cause trouble in N Ireland, they know if they wake up the IRA and the UDA islam will get its ass shot off.
As far as hiding a gun, there are ways of doing this so its not found by a normal body search. Also how to get at the gun when hands are cuffed behind your back. This needs to be practiced a lot, so the question is was he given instructions or did he just figure it out himself.

Wait... what? BOTH "Islamist" AND "Right Wing" views? How is that possible? It ISN'T possible in America, which tells me that I have no idea of British political definitions! That single line utterly mystifies me.

Ouch! No wonder he was cranky and out of sorts! I'm sure it had somewhat to do with that "man bun", but the very idea of getting shot with that pistol adds a high degree of insult to the injury already present...

That unlikely combination mentioned yet again? It seems to me someone is trying to set up a whole new sort of terrorism, a definition heretofore unknown in all the history of mankind that would allow for those two opposing viewpoints to exist within a single human...

What kind of video cameras are there in the UK? Were they made in Hong Kong or something?

Due to the Police being terrified of being called a Klan member, a proper search would be the
last thing on their minds. Maybe some of the old "Now look lad... Yer've been a naughty boy"
may not have been enough to persuade the suspect to cough-up that he just happened
to have a pistol in skiddies.

This was the same type of scheme the young man who stabbed some people on Westminster
Bridge in London and then had to be shot by Police when he threatened to blow himself up.
The strapped-device was a hoax, but the guy who'd helped him in the scheme was killed by
him. Nice, huh?

Quote:More charges in long-running Operation Tendersea investigation into Huddersfield grooming gang.
Operation Tendersea continues after 35 men have been jailed.
'New charges have been made in a long-running police investigation into child sexual exploitation in
Huddersfield after further women came forward with allegations. A number of men were charged and
appeared in court this summer in relation to fresh disclosures and are expected to go on trial at Leeds
Crown Court next year.
The investigation, called Operation Tendersea, was set up after a young woman told police in 2013
she had been sexually abused as a child.
It uncovered groups of men in Huddersfield - many of whom were known to each other - who exploited
vulnerable young women and girls as far back as 1995.
The first arrests were made in 2016, which was first reported by YorkshireLive.
Some of those arrested also lived in the likes of Slaithwaite, Dewsbury, Greater Manchester, Sheffield,
Birmingham, Shipley and Camden. This eventually led to separate trials, the first of which commenced
in January 2018 and the seventh of which concluded in March this year.
An eighth trial was due to begin in April this year, but has been postponed to September next year due
to the coronavirus pandemic.
(Left) Manzoor Akhtar, aka Manny, 31, was jailed for four-and-a-half years on April 22 after being found
guilty of raping a teenage girl.
(Right) Shaqeel Hussain, aka Shaq, 36, of Spen Valley Road, Dewsbury, was convicted of raping a girl,
14, and jailed for eight years in February 2020. He could not be named at the time.
He then pleaded guilty to an indecent assault on a girl, 16, and jailed for a further year in April 2020.
..............................
In April this year, Manzoor Akhtar, of Blackmoorfoot Road, Crosland Moor, became the thirty-fifth member
of the gang to be convicted and jailed as a result of the investigation. The same day, Shaqeel Hussain,
of Spen Valley Road, Dewsbury, was handed a further one-year prison sentence after pleading guilty
to indecently assaulting a 16-year-old girl between 2004 and 2005.
The 36-year-old had been convicted of raping a 14-year-old girl after a trial in February and jailed for
eight years, but could not be named at the time. He was told he must serve the one-year prison sentence
consecutively to the eight-year term he was already serving.
Their sentences brought the total jail sentences resulting from the seven Operation Tendersea trials at
that point to an excess of 380 years.
It is thought that it is the largest group of men convicted as part of a grooming gang in the UK.
Speaking in April this year, Detective Chief Inspector Richard McNamara, of Kirklees District CID, said:
"A repeated feature of these cases has been the stunning bravery of the now young women who have
come forward to tell us about the abuse they suffered and then doing everything they can to support
the police and CPS in taking action against those who abused them.
"The courage of victims is helping us take dangerous predators such as Manzoor Akhtar and Shaqeel
Hussain off our streets, show them for what they are, and put them behind bars where they belong."
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police confirmed: "A third, smaller phase of Operation Tendersea
had been under investigation as a result of further victims having the confidence to come forward and
speak with police, which we anticipate will come to trial at some point next year."

@"BIAD" , is it still the Special Boat Service that "addresses" issues like this ?
In a world where the mainstream media have very little to do with reality, there is -even within their circles,
a hint of what Governments really are coming to terms with in regards of invading parties wishing to deal out
terrorism towards their enemies.
If the SBS were involved, then terrorism against a country was either assumed or known.
Quote:How the dramatic raid unfolded:
*Reports emerged of a oil tanker being 'hijacked' off the Isle of Wight yesterday afternoon
*The captain had sent a mayday signal at 10am after fearing for the lives of himself and his crew
*Seven stowaways reportedly smashed glass on board and threatened to use flares as weapons
*The tanker zig-zagged in the English Channel before dropping anchor
*SBS commandos swooped on the tanker and seized the stowaways
Questions:
If these seven Nigerian stowaways were merely illegal cargo being brought to Britain for cheap labour, why
revolt and threaten the plan?
The drive to overtake the crew and utilise the ship indicates a strong desire to be in control. The standard
perception is that illegal migrants are at the mercy of the transport logistics and accept the conditions that
are presented to them.
I understand that panicking over an unknown reason, may cause these men to take over a large vessel,
but the realities of steering an oil tanker and eventually docking it must have been realised by the stowaways
at some point.
My personal conclusions are either the stowaways were either too dumb to understand the reality of their
situation and just accepted that -at the very least, they would arrive in Britain --even though they'd be under
arrest...
Or we're not aware of the true facts and this tanker held men with a scheme to do harm. The 'zig-zagging' is
a hint that something was wrong and the Defence Secretary Ben Wallace was quoted to have added:
"...Along with the SBS squad, a team of Royal Navy divers was deployed in one of the Royal Navy helicopters in case the vessel had been mined - but it had not." -BBC:
This sounds to me that the oil tanker was also perceived as a threat... a possible weapon.

I am not sure if it was this thread or elsewhere at Rogue Nation, but now i am under the impression that BLM (Black Lives Matter) is in Great Britain also...
Thank you for your question and I hope I can do it justice.
'Black Lives Matter' has -in Britain, recently changed its name to 'Black Liberation Movement' due to it being recognised
as a political party. Of course, it always as been, but small steps are the best ones when getting from A to B with a
disingenuous cause. The Guardian:
One of the main driving factors in the UK is that 'BLM' is understood to be representing those who originate from the
Sub-Saharan African continent and this became a problem due to the high population of Southern-East Asians living
in Britain.
In the USA, African-Americans are the role-model for oppressed people undergoing poverty and drug-related issues
and so 'BLM' represented them primarily. The sad part was to have a talisman or 'flag' to show your loyalty to their
ideal, they used skin colour.
If you're from India, Pakistan, Egypt or as far as China, that banner didn't reflect your views, but the news-hungry
media ignored it too.
But in Britain, 'Black Lives Matter' had to evolve to cater of an audience it needs and so it did. The 'Black Liberation
Movement' now seeks to influence politics here by standing for the lesser-dark folk of this small country because
British Africans are A: not as many to vote the BLM into any position of power and B: the black communities are
British first and black second.
However, their problems with poverty still exist, but these issues are the same as the white working-class people
who live next-door to them.
Quote:But i am unable to understand, and unwilling to try to understand, how does this logic work:
"I have a black skin color. Let's go break windows, smash statues and loot a big TV"...
The problem isn't so-much the British black communities, it's the standards of 'Asian' and Sub-Saharan African
immigrants that perceive a first-world country as a place where everything is given, that's the real problem.
Earning one's material-wealth used to be a noble goal in Britain and the US at one time, but reliance on Governments
has become the norm. Migrants with no self-discipline and any underground religious agendas are seen nothing more
than 'pets' by the media and the politicians -people who enjoy their standing and the trappings that go with it, dare
not rock the boat.

I can't guarantee that, but I know many who just roll their eyes and wish the 'Oh, poor-black-man' rhetoric would all
just go away.

You're correct, but that doesn't sell newspapers! Get rid of the current mainstream media and many of today's
woes will simply disappear.
The organisation of trouble would astound you as well as the reasons for it. People are killed just to keep others
in the manner they've become accustomed to... something that many don't wish to believe.
If you look on a person in a particular way because of their amount of melanin in their skin, that is racism and
that's what 'BLM' realised in Britain.
So they changed their name!
Just wait until one of the big LNG ships get hijacked. Weapon indeed.
And thank you for your comments.

You're right on the money there, F2!
By the way, Google states the distance from Nigeria to Liberia is forty-nine hours and over two thousand
kilometres... one wonders if the tanker's origin was where it was berthed when the stowaways boarded the
vessel or had it visited Nigeria for its legitimate cargo of oil before setting off to its destination?
(Is the UK buying oil from Nigeria and Southampton was the Andromeda's final port-of-call or was it just
where the trouble kicked-off? Hmmm!)
Quote:'Norway is the main supplier of both crude oil and natural gas for the United Kingdom.
In 2019, some 17.5 million metric tons of crude oil and 1.7 million metric tons of natural gas were imported from Norway.
This is significantly higher than the amount imported from the second entry – the United States. Algeria, Russia and Nigeria
round out the top five origin countries, with Russia being the only other supplier of natural gas to the UK, as this is reliant
on pipeline infrastructure.
That year, the United Kingdom imported approximately 46.9 million metric tons of crude oil and natural gas liquids.
Production of crude oil
In 2018, the UK produced nearly 47.6 million metric tons of crude oil. This was the highest figure since 2011 and an
increase of 21 percent compared to the low of 37.5 million metric tons recorded in 2014....'
I read the port of origin was in Nigeria, probably Lagos. Stops along the way in the Canary Islands and Saint Nazaire. Reports indicated the tanker was not carrying oil when the incident occurred. Not sure if it had oil that was offloaded along the way.
In any case, it will need service now to repair the damage caused by the stowaways.
