Second Amendment Sanctuary Counties

NewsWeek:

McEachin is an idiot who does not choose his words carefully enough. Not only has he increased tension to the breaking point by threatening us with stormtroopers, he does not even have a firm grasp on how many stormtroopers he would have to work with (vs. how many he would NEED), what with all of the inevitable defections and whatnot. On top of that, the LAST thing Northam would want to do is "nationalize" his stormtroopers (if he even managed to retain any). "Nationalizing" the National Guard places them under Federal control, meaning control of the US President rather than the Virginia Governor. In that scenario, Trump would be calling the shots. He could either order them to deploy to, for instance, Rammstein AFB in Germany to get them out of Northam's grasp, or he could even conceivably order them to arrest Northam, Herring, and the rest of the radical bunch in Richmond for treason against the People of Virginia AND the US Constitution. Nope, Northam definitely wouldn't want to nationalize the Guard. I think McEachin meant "mobilize" rather than "nationalize".

“We understand and respect the passion people feel for the U.S. Constitution and 2nd Amendment rights.

The consensus out here in the weeds is that the Adjutant of the VANG is just kicking the can down the road here so as not to get on the bad side of Northam if nothing kicks off, and will announce his real decision AFTER orders are actually issued. He's hedging his bets.

In other news, they've now filed legislation to fire any law enforcement that refuse to join the Strormtrooper Corps against their own citizens... so they are doubling down on stupid, as Socialists often do when confronted with adversity. HB 67 provides for firing of any LE officers who refuse to enforce their edicts. Good luck with that, ya bastards! It's too cute to think they believe they can fire folks elected by the citizens without citizen consent. In other words, they can't fire folks they never hired to begin with. if they think otherwise - and they evidently do - then they haven't got a firm grasp on the US political system. They will, however, develop such a grasp in one hell of a hurry the instant they send ANYONE to remove OUR elected officials without our consent. Our sheriffs are standing with us, and we will damned sure stand behind them...

... en masse, armed to the teeth.

The bit about "withholding funding" from us rogue counties is laughable. How are they going to "withhold" what they don't have to hand out? If they want to play that game, we'll just keep our tax money local (where we have representation for our taxation), and not send it to them to begin with. The bastards will have to feed themselves by eating their dead, 'cause we'll sure as shit stop paying for their fancy meals out!

ETA: Northam has repeatedly said now that he is "not taking anyone's guns" and is "not going to pass unconstitutional laws" - goddamned right he ain't! We're not about to allow that without a hell of a fight and a lot of blood. Unfortunately, the only olive branch he has offered is that we can keep them "with Registration". Nope. That's a non-starter. We weren't born yesterday, and realize what a "Registration" is actually for, and that ain't gonna happen while we still breathe.

This fight is NOT about guns, however much the Left will try to spin it up to be. It's about our rights in general, and the fact that the Left thinks they can walk over us, set their boots on our necks, and simply TAKE whatever of our property they want to. We understand it will not stop with guns - that just makes it easier for them to run roughshod over us for the rest. It's not about guns at all, it's about our right to defend ourselves... and we are questioning WHY they think we should give that up - what ELSE they have in mind once we are rendered unable.

SB 64 makes it illegal to even TRAIN anyone in self-defense. Looks like they're trying to take everything they can while they can... but when they set about doing it, they woke up a sleeping giant.

Let me see if I can insert the video.  You have to choose the Face Book option when you post it.

ETA:  Nope! Didn't work for me either.

Yep, FB censoring certain information. Twitter, Google, and FB are in cahoots to keep the truth from spreading as we come closer to the 2020 election.

Wonder how much Soros is paying them?

I know you don't want to turn tail and run, but it sounds like things are getting hot there.  Just remember there are a few states to your south where you would be welcome, and one of them even has the same company you work for now. Maybe put in for a transfer?   minusculebiggrin

Thanks for that, Mystic!

It's not that I don't want to turn tail and run, because I do. I want to run like hell and never look back. It's that I CAN'T run. My feet are stuck to the ground whenever I try. It's not physically or mentally possible, no matter how bad I want to or how hard I try.

We have had offers of "assistance" from other surrounding states already. Persons in TN and NC have already offered to set up smuggler routes to get arms in if it kicks off. Some persons in KY have offered their own persons to man ramparts. WV has been silent so far, which is what I expected. My Dear Old Dad was from WV, and those folks are pretty tight lipped. They tend not to say much, so as not to tip their hand and give warning before they lower the boom on an adversary. I'm not counting them out just because I don't hear any rumbles coming from up there.

Facts are that a lot of other states are eyeballing us pretty closely right now, since this may be just around the corner for them as well. They'd rather fight the fight in VA and not tear up their own territory, and I understand that. If a win can be had here, their own tyrants will not be so quick to test them at home, and they get to keep their countryside pretty and not all blown up and skeletal looking.

I don't work for that company any more, not since 3 September. They closed the facility down and laid everyone in it off.  I don't work anywhere at the moment. I believe it was John Titor, speaking about the US Civil War in his own timeline, who mentioned that when farmers no longer have anything to farm, they've got nothing better to do that sit in the bushes and shoot at the enemy all day long. That goes for every other profession as well.

I'll restate that it's not about the guns. If all I wanted was a gun, I could get that under any circumstances they'd care to throw at us with just a piece of gas pipe, some tacks and nails, a bit of cloth, some ground pine spores, a match head and a length of fishing twine. With those items, I could get all of the real guns and ammo I could carry, and enough for all my friends, too. So it's not about the guns, it's about the principle. They don't get to just come in and take whatever of our property they want to. Jackbooted thugs in an allegedly elected office DO NOT get to set their jackboots on our necks with impunity. This is still America.

I agree, and I respect your decision.

You know, it's those who scream the loudest who usually turn out to be the cowards. I think your Governor will think twice when he sees how us hillbilly folks stand our ground.
And, like you, I don't think any military personnel will go against the constitution they swore to uphold and protect.
Nah... ain't gonna happen.

I think... I HOPE LIKE HELL... he is voted out in 2020.  If not, then some people are just plain dumb.

We can hope for the best, but must prepare for the worst. Socialist have been known to double-down on stupid when they don't get their way.
It's not just us hillbillies - this movement has taken off across the entire state. All of Virginia is up in arms over it, so to speak.

Some of them will. Not all of them are as committed to the idea of freedom as has been the case in generations past. Our current best estimates suggest that 50 to 60 percent of them will pick up their gear and bring it and themselves across the trenches to our side.

There is a petition afoot right now, as we speak, to recall Northam from the Governor's office, an office he has demonstrated unfitness to hold. There is also a petition being kicked off tomorrow in Fairfax County to recall Saslaw, the idjit that formulated the laws up for consideration to make serfs out of us citizens. I'll not be posting links to either here, as you have to be a citizen of Virginia to sign the one to recall Northam, and a citizen of Saslaw's congressional district to sign the one against him.

ETA: I'm getting a lot of "this content isn't available right now" notices in the Buchanan County 2A Sanctuary Facebook group. Imagine that.

If you could post the links though, there might be some lurkers out there from VA that could make good use of it. :smallwink:

No more votes are scheduled until 16 December. Albermarle County (in pink) is the location of Charlottesville i.e. UVA, and is thus a hotbed of Socialist college campus activism. UVA was founded by Thomas Jefferson, who is no doubt spinning hard enough in his grave to potentially get airborn. Loudon County (also in pink) is one of the richest counties in America, a hotbed of Socialism and globalism due to it's proximity to Washington DC, and the fact that a lot of swamp critters from DC live there - which is probably what makes it one of the richest counties in the nation...

I just posted the followin to Governor Northam on Facebook a few minutes ago - archiving here in case of unexplained disappearances:

"Dedicated to Gov. Ralph Northam of Virginia. In response to your attempt at an illegal and immoral gun grab, there are, by my count, 97 "Second Amendment Sanctuary" jurisdictions in the state now. 78 of them are entire counties, out of a total of 95. Nearly the whole state is green, and more are answering the call. You're starting to look a little green there yourself, buddy - all but that little smudge of black greasepaint behind your ear. It's beginning to look like a full scale revolt - Alles klar, Herr Kommissar?

"

There is also a command, control, and communication website being set up now outside of Facebook to avoid any untoward censorship or shutdown issues that may develop in Facebook space in the coming months.

Is it something just being done in VA to avoid the shutdown of the internet/FB for communication?  But, didn't he say he would turn off electricity and internet?  Are you using Ham radios, or what?

I think it's initially Virginia, but eventually intended to be nationwide. If this thing goes all pear-shaped, we're going to need communications with the outside, especially surrounding states, anyhow. I can't say this any more plainly: if they are willing to accept money from outside sources like Bloomberg to  get themselves in position to eradicate freedom, we'll take whatever outside help we can get to defend it. THEY are the ones who opened THAT door!

We've still been unable to confirm the unsubstantiated report that Northam is going to shut off electricity, phones, internet and data. Kinda wish he would from a 4th generational war standpoint - that will only drive more Democrats to our side when they have to rough it with no idea how to, when they have to live without their cell phones, etc. "See? There's where yer vote got you - yer wannabe Masters are throwing you under the bus, too". Nothing would alienate the few supporters he has faster than throwing them back into the stone age along with the rest of us. But no, as far as I know he didn't say that - it's just a Hal Turner rumor.

We have some ham radios, some CBs, and for shorter range FRS. By the time we're through, they'll believe we were using smoke signals and jungle drums. Underground networks are already in place we can tap into if we need to. We've also already had offers of assistance from "citizens militias" (as opposed to government-controlled militias) from other states as well. Some of them will be on hand to join us in Richmond on 20 January for that giant lobbying rally planned outside the state house on the first day of the legislative session. Invisible ones may or may not be setting up LOS antennae for interstate radio relays about that time...

It's not going to be the cakewalk they think, but let 'em keep on thinking that - everyone loves surprises, right? This is what happens when you keep your people embroiled in foreign wars for 20 straight years, and then one day decide that YOU are going to go to war against THEM. Some of those folks already know what it's about, and are still young enough to do something about it.

The militia is activated in Virginia, right now, waiting to fight for the rights that the government is currently failing to protect. People know that DC is basically in Virginia, right? I don't think ppl who are foot dragging are going to be spared if this thing pops off.

Funny you should mention that. This just came through the aether yesterday evening:

When you hear of "militias activated", you're hearing some bullshit. AFAIK, Tazewell County and a couple other are the only ones who have authorized a militia. Tazewell has made the most progress, and that only consists of funding for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and a resolution that everyone in the county authorized to be armed get a CCW. These measures are a FAR cry from having an actual "activated militia". Militia in Buchanan County is still in the being argued over stage, no organization, no training, nothing. So, when you hear folks talk of activated militias, they are blowing smoke up your ass for their own nefarious reasons.

The "Confederate soldiers" attempting to kick off Armageddon in Richmond on 20 Jan? Now you know who they'll REALLY be.

This is the current map of "2A Sanctuary Counties. Green is them:

Richmond is the big red gob in the eastern half of the map, just above the big orange gob. You'll notice that they can get IN to Richmond, but if they act the fool, they're surrounded by "enemy territory", and may have a hard time getting OUT, organized militia or not.

Bo don't know these country boys. There isn't any organized militia at the moment, but there ARE thousands of good ol' boy cells who know each other well enough to organize impromptu point actions for Antifa et al trying to escape what they've done.

Thousands.

Just thought I'd add this here for posterity:

Quote:You have NO IDEA what’s coming: Virginia Dems to unleash martial law attack on 2A counties using roadblocks to confiscate firearms and spark a shooting war

After passing extremely restrictive anti-gun legislation in early 2020, Virginia has a plan to deploy roadblocks at both the county and state levels to confiscate firearms from law-abiding citizens (at gunpoint, of course) as part of a deliberate effort to spark a shooting war with citizens, sources are now telling Natural News.

Some might choose to dismiss such claims as speculation, but these sources now say that Virginia has been chosen as the deliberate flashpoint to ignite the civil war that’s being engineered by globalists. Their end game is to unleash a sufficient amount of violence to call for UN occupation of America and the overthrow of President Trump and the republic. Such action will, of course, also result in the attempted nationwide confiscation of all firearms from private citizens, since all gun owners will be labeled “domestic terrorists” if they resist. Such language is already being used by Democrat legislators in the state of Virginia.

The Democrat-run impeachment of President Trump is a necessary component for this plan, since the scheme requires Trump supporters to be painted as “enraged domestic terrorists” who are seeking revenge for the impeachment. This is how the media will spin the stories when armed Virginians stand their ground and refuse to have their legal firearms confiscated by police state goons running Fourth Amendment violating roadblocks on Virginia roads.

The gun confiscation roadblocks are almost sure to start a shooting war

Roadblocks will be set up in two types of locations, sources tell Natural News: 1) On roads entering the state of Virginia from neighboring states that have very high gun ownership, such as Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina, and 2) Main roads (highways and interstates) that enter the pro-2A counties which have declared themselves to be Second Amendment sanctuaries. With over 90 counties now recognizing some sort of pro-2A sanctuary status, virtually the entire State of Virginia will be considered “enemy territory” by the tyrants in Richmond who are trying to pull off this insidious scheme.

More at the source.

Good heavens!

Really, has someone there notified President Trump about this? There has to be something he can do to stop this crazy maniac. He is breaking all kinds of constitutional rules!

This is getting scary!
#59
There's nothing at all Trump can do to interfere in state matters until the Powers That Be in Richmond actually break a Federal law. Just talkin' shit doesn't break any laws.

The roadblock idea is nuckin' futs - it's not like we all ride around in our pickup trucks bristling with AR-15's and .50 cals sticking out every window. They won't net many guns that way. I suspect it's really intending to stop the inevitable arms smuggling into the state to supply militias. Too bad for them that some folks have experience working around far more serious roadblocks than even Virginia is able to muster while smuggling arms. Ask a mujahiddeen how he got his weapons right under Soviet noses. Ask a Bosnian how they armed up during their war. There are hundreds of examples of the utter failure of this sort of plan.

I HAVE, however, apprised President Trump of the potential plan for calling out the National Guard to be used illegally, have cited the laws that would break for him, and explained exactly what he has to do (with historical references and precedents) to put a grinding, screaming, screeching halt to that if it comes about.

So we'll see how it goes...

ETA: The VANG has around 8,000 members. Not all of them are combat troops - most are in support roles. The VA State Police has around 2,400 employees, again mostly in support roles. Contrast that against an estimated 500,000 AR-15 owners (that's not counting all of the other guns in the state), and you'll begin to see just which direction this deck is stacked in.
