Here we go again...

the run, police have said.
Officers have said they are dealing with an "active scene" after the suspect opened fire at Saugus High
School in Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County, around 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
Helicopter footage aired on US television shows lines of students with their hands in the air, filing out of

He is described as an Asian male.
Police are surrounding a property in the area in the hunt for the suspect.office...'
Here is another report from Yahoo News. They report 1 dead and several injured. Shooter is in custody.
"They" need to keep their sales pitch of getting rid of guns in the public consciousness.
Wonder how many more we'll see leading up to the 2020 elections?
It's a sad circumstance, and my condolences go out to the families and those students who were traumatized during this event.
'...Two victims - a 16-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy - died of their injuries, he added. The other victims were two girls aged 15 and 14, and a 14-year-old boy. The suspect was "identified as a 16-year-old male whose birthday was today", he added...'
'...According to witnesses, the suspect took a gun out of his backpack and shot the five students, before turning the gun on himself. The weapon recovered was an emptied .45 calibre semi-automatic pistol...'

I'll give this one a day or two. I'm sure we'll be hearing about the types of medications he was on, and the fact he has been under a psychiatrist's care soon.
Edit to add: Make that 3 dead now.
What's confirmed:
- Shots were fired at Saugus High School, 40 miles outside of Los Angeles - LA County Sheriff says the suspect is in custody and being treated at a hospital - Three of the five victims, all students, have died

Imagine that - a Commiefornia Indoctrination Center gets shot up, and some of the indoctrinees (AKA "cannon fodder for the higher cause") get zapped? Who'd've thunk it?
The operative must've been a pretty bad shot if he couldn't even shoot himself properly dead, so I presume the other hits were sheer luck - or he was shooting into a crowd at a class change. 6 hits (only two fatal) out of 8 shots... I'm going with the "shooting into a crowd" theory.
They just don't train 'em like they used to.
I note also that this incident took place in Commiefornia, which has the most stringent gun laws in America, so... more laws? Yeah, that'll take care of it! Also note that this super soldier was able to create maximum mayhem with nary an "assault weapon" in sight, so... more laws? Ban some "assault weapons"? Sure, that'll take care of it. Wait... ain't "assault weapons" ALREADY banned in Commiefornia? Well How the hell did this happen???
It boggles the mind...
Hell, I don't trust hormonal teenagers with a pointy stick, so maybe an age requirement to possess a weapon? Oh, wait - I think that has already been done, too, to good effect it appears.
Don't worry, y'all - I'm sure they'll come up with SOME new law totally unrelated to this shooting that will finally keep 'Merica safe from rampant hordes of hormonal and homicidal teenagers...
Maybe ban paper clips this time. It will have about as much effect on situations like this as the boat-load of other laws they've already passed.
Seriously - can they not afford to equip their operatives properly, with the stuff they want to ban like "assault weapons" and "high capacity ammunition feeding devices" (neither of which was used here) and then turn them loose somewhere that these things have not ALREADY been banned? They're just making themselves look stupid, and their dumb-assed laws ineffective, at this point...

And then on Friday night...
Quote:Shooting at New Jersey high school day after California attack.
'Terrified high school students ran for their lives when a gunman opened fire during an American football game.
Footage shows the panic and fear of the players and spectators in Pleasantville, New Jersey last night.
Some ran for cover, while others threw themselves to the ground.
A child and a man were seriously injured in the attack that took place around 8.30pm local time on Friday, according
to officials. The child's condition was said to be serious and he was airlifted to a children's hospital in Philadelphia.
No one had been arrested as of Friday night, and authorities were investigating whether more than one gunman might
have been involved. Authorities did not identify victims or release information on their conditions other than to say both
were alive several hours after the shooting.
It comes after the suicide of a 16-year-old boy who killed two teenagers when he opened fire on students at a high school
in California on Thursday morning. In New Jersey, Kevin Minnick, a sports reporter who was covering the game, shared
video from the scene of ambulances on the field.
"Pop, pop, pop. At least a half dozen shots in Pleasantville bleachers," he wrote on Twitter.
"Got to say my knees are shaking," he said, adding: "In 30-plus years, I've never witnessed anything like this first-hand.
I hope to never witness it again."
In footage shared by Mr Minnick, small children can be heard crying while parents carry their young ones home.
The shooting happened during a game between the Camden Panthers and the Pleasantville Greyhounds...'
Quote:4 dead, 6 injured in 'mass casualty shooting' at Sunday Night Football party in California
FRESNO — Fresno Police have confirmed four people were killed and at least six wounded in what
police in this central California city are describing as a "mass casualty shooting."
Three people were killed at the scene, Fresno Police said. A fourth person died later at the hospital.
Five of the wounded are in critical condition at local hospitals, and one victim was released with a minor
grazed bullet wound, BC30 Fresno reported.
“Unknown suspects” burst into a backyard party where people had gathered to watch the Los Angeles
Rams-Chicago Bears Sunday Night Football game, Fresno Police reported. The suspects remain at large.
"What we do know is that this was a gathering, a family and friend gathering in the backyard, " Lt. Bill Dooley
said. "Everyone was watching football this evening when unknown suspects approached the residence, snuck
into the backyard and opened fire.”
He added, “Several individuals are deceased in the backyard."
The shooting took place about 6 p.m. on the city’s southeast side, Dooley said. There is no indication the shooting
was gang-related, police say. It was at least the second fatal gun attack Sunday in southeast Fresno.
A man in his 20s was shot to death early Sunday at a home in another part of the city. Police have not said whether
the incidents could be connected...'
California has the most stringent anti-gun laws of any state in America. If gun laws work, why California?
