"Mr. Martin is a very particular fellow," A matronly woman spoke quietly..
"Mrs. Optin.." Handing a reciept to Optin, "Mr. Martin is a strange bird.. Quiet.. Keeps to himself.." Whispering, "I was curious.. Does he prefer women or men.. Their is no lady of the castle.."
"Mr. Redart.."
"I was curious.. My daughter has turned eighteen.. And well," Redart noticed several other customers were listening.. "He is rich and single.. My son attends the academy that was set up by Merchants guild.. Also single."
Sighing as everyone was listening, "He is lonely.. He is in love with someone.." Whispering to the merchant, "We do not know who she was. Its women.." Standing straighter, "Their is an event taking place next week.. A masked ball.. I will make sure your daughter gets an invitation.."
Excitement goes through Mr. Redart's voice, "Thank You.. Thank you.. I have.."
"I will warn every lady in our free city.. Mr. Martin is an excentric man of taste.. As the Matron of Castle Stewart.." Mrs Optin speaks a little louder, "The staff will send out invitations to those we want their.. Your daughters and sisters will all be there the night before.."
Mrs. Optin is helped out by a bag boy, followed by two knights..
"Thank you Jerome.." Mrs. Optin hands a gold coin after the supplies are loaded into the horse drawn carriage, "Mr. Martin has asked me if you would like him to buy your employment contract.."
"I.. My contract.. Mr. Martin.." Jerome swallowed hard, "I..A new apprenticeship?"
"You start at the bottom.. Open Apprentice ship.. For a term of till six months post your eighteenth year.." Tears fell down Jerome's face, "Boy I need to know now.."
"Yes mam.. I.."
"You.. I see the creast of the Merchants guild," A bald man instantly moves over to the carriage with the white star on a blue background.. "Mr. Martin wishes to pay off this boys debt for his full contract.."
Several people freeze as the bald man takes a deep breath, "Jerome's contract.. My lady.. Lord Martin must know I can give him personally at least ten youths worth.."
"House Marshall Wilson made the recommendation.. Its Obidiah right." The bald man swallows hard, "We do not want to upset Lord Martin's right hand man.. We all remember what happened to the slavers who raided our community.. And that was over a minor insult."
"Their bodies still adorn the fortifacations," Jerome took a deep breath.. "Mrs. Optin.. I.. It is just my sister is.. She is seventeen and trying to get her liscenes for teaching.. She is at the orphanage.. I am trying to save enough to.."
"That is our next stop.. She will come to Castle Stewart.. And oversee her brothers education.."
"Mrs. Optin.. The regulations," Obidiah pauses as a gold purse is set in his hand by a knight.. After looking inside the bag, "I will see to all the detail myself.."
A smaller bag of jewels are produced by the same armored knight, "This should cover all the necessary bribes and your cut.."
"My lady I am an," The knight stopped Obidiah from speaking by putting his hand out.. "A working man who has many details to handle.. I will have it all done by.."
"By the end of business," Mrs. Optin is helped into the carriage by the other knight. "Reciept.. With your stamp.."
Obidiah quickly has an assistant come over and give him a set of paper. He writes out the reciept quickly..
"Jerome.. We leave to pick up your sister.." Ms. Optin coldly speaks.
The knight that had handed the jems and gold crawled in after Jerome..
"Seat belt young man," Mrs. Optin spoke as she belted in..
Partially excited Jerome belted in as the Carriage moved down the cement road, "Mrs. Optin.. Mr. Obidiah is a crook, I stopped taking his orders to his wagon unless mr Redart ordered me to.... why did Wilson have him paid?"
"That is your first question," Mr. Optin asked..
"Mam.. I was hoping to find a patron.. I just never dreamed it would be lord Martin.. His fairness and ruthlessness is well known in the four months he has been in town.. He gives his word it is worth more then gold.. " Jerome breathed deeply, "I have been preparing in the hopes.. Mam.. My questions will be answered.. I spend my free time in the libraries.."
Destrapping the face mask, The knight goes through the procedure to remove his helmet.. "I told you he was bright.."
Jerome shakes in fear for a second at the sight of the purple and green hair, "House.. House Marshal Wil.. Wilson.. I.."
"Relax son.. " The clean shaven man speaks, "Welcome .. So this girl is your sister.. Your mother was not old enough have her seventeen years ago.."
"You know who my mother was.. Of course your House Marshall Wilson.. Uhm," Jerome freezes.. "Sir.. I did not mean to.. It is just.."
"Son.. Life is short.. Spit it out," Wilson narrowed his eyes..
"She has protected me for as far back as I can remember.. She used to be a .. " Jerome swallows hard, "She was given me by my mothers maiden before they both died.. To hide me from the slavers.."
Mrs. Optin narrows her eyes, "House Marshall dear.."
"I am interested in your story.. Jerome," Leaning back.. "Tell me what you know.."
"This is the smoothest ride I have ever been in sir.." Jerome looked down, "My sister does not remember everything.. I have been told my real name is Remus....."
Mrs. Optin went wide eyed as she saw House Marshall Wilson have a tear fall down his face..
______________________________________________________________
Red hair blew in the essos wind, "He.. Mrs. Optin.. House Marshal Wilson has overseen every part of Remus's education. Is he his.. "
"Stacey.. We suspect," Mrs. Optin watched as both Remus and wilson moved through various Tai chi Katas.. "Lord Wilson said he came here with Mr. Martin. That he was taught by Mr. Martin the combat secrets of the ancients.."
"They have become quiet popular with the militia,"Stacey tried to hide her tears..
Whispering, "The House Marshal has authorized you to pursue what you wish.. Said we take care of our own.." Mrs. Optin shook her head, "The Educators from the WCM embassy will be here to test you for the merchants guild.."
Wilson and Remus bowed and did the cool down as Stacey covered her mouth.
Purple and green hair sat down, "I learned this from an ancient master.. We add a new component.. "
"We are learning the advanced breathing,"Remus Jerome sat down next to the House Marshal.
"Pay attention first .. Copy by observation.. Then.."
"Then make it my own," Remus was copying the House Marshall exactly. "Washing the Kai's is the hard part.. Does all this really help make me stronger.."
"Over time.. " Wilson took a moment, "Like doing the dishes and not trying to skip out on them.."
Remus looked down, "I.. "
"Remus.. A Man who can do dishes, clean, and cook can find easy work real quick for coin.." Wilson opened his eyes, "It is more the discipline, but it is an overlooked skill. If you ever have to hide or run, the right skill set helps you hide from people.."
"Oh.. Like if the Iron Throne or that blonde lady invades.." Remus understood what was being said, "I heard your spies train that way.."
Stacey and Mrs. Optin go wide eyed..
Wilson laughs, "And if my spymaster has to clean stables, clean blacksmithies, and the like.."
"I.." Remus stands up fighting emotions, "I need to know sir. Are you my father? You have been personally overseeing my education.. Lords dont do that..You do not do that."
"Remus.. We talked about," Stacey stops as Wilson raises his hand..
"Child.. Many years ago I read a book.. I will answer your question.. Do you know the three ways to lie," Wilson stood looking at Remus.. "I know you have broke into my office twice and have been reading the copies of the books I have.. Trying to teach yourself to read.."
Remus went wide faced, "I.. Three ways to lie sir.."
"I am not giving you the answer.. You must find it for yourself." Wilson took a deep breath, "Your father.. Regardless of what comes up.. You must remember.. Is a man.. Not a god.. "
"Pants still go on one leg at a time.." Remus looked down and looked up quickly, "My father has enemies? That is why stacy ran here with me.. They are powerful." Remus looked at Wilson wide eyed, "A man is measured not just by his friends.. By his enemies.."
Wilson smiled at Remus's smile, "You father had to do dishes.." Putting his arm around Remus as they walked past the two women, "Never dug ditches.. Lazy as the day is long.. I will tell you a secret.. Success is more about keeping the carriage out of the ditch.."
"I heard you say that.. Uhm.." Remus was not upset anymore, "The secret is to know where the ditches are.. "
"At this trade rate we might make you a suitable husband for a bar wench," Wilson laughed as the two walked..
"House Master.. This party.. " Remus walked next to Wilson at the same pace, "They are trying to find Lord.." Remus stops as he realizes something, "You.."
"Your father was also to smart for his own good at your age.." Wilson stopped, "Its our little secret.." Rubbing Remus's head, "I do not like doing dishes.."
"My lips are sealed Sir," Remus shook his little head as Stacey and Optin had stopped a respectful distance away..
"We have an important night tonight.." Wilson breathed in and out.. "Apparently representatives from the WCM, the Iron throne, and several other cities slash empires have decided to be here.. Mrs. Optin needs you to go easy on her.. She is going to be busy.. I have plans.."
"Yes sir," Remus and Wilson started walking again..
Stacey watched Little Remus and wilson move, "Mrs. Optin.. It.. It is so obvious.."

"Madam Prime Minister," a sigh came from the armored woman.. "This tour of our Trading partners.. A show of support.."
Dirty blonde hair wearing a very flowing dress spoke, "Joral.. How many times do I have to tell you.. Myr is fine in private.." Myrcella put up her hair into a bun, "I am just tired.. I left Cleopatra and Arthur in WCM to get a break.."
Joral shook her head, "Second husband driving you insane?"
"We had another fight.. He is a good man but.. Still just a man.." Myr shook her head, "It is why Theon.. Theon.." A tear fell down Myra's face.. "He went home.. The worthless S#$% that came back disappeared. I was granted a divorce." Seeing Joral pause, "I know we have talked.. My Armon went home.. I will never see him again."
"Theon was not ever able to give us the proper codes.." Joral took a moment,"You moved on.. He would have wanted that.. you are the Prime minister.. A very powerful one in your own right.."
"Lets walk through this.." Myrcella took a moment, "This Mr. Martin.. is one our prominent members of the Merchants guild.. His axeman is this House Marshal Wilson. We are on a tour today of the Alchemist Guilds facility we set up in this rinky dink town.. Mr. Martin leased the rights run casinos for our corporations and to manufacture.. Our surplus medicines, fabrics, silverware, and Bolts. He sells low end Carriages, and replacement parts.. The head of the Alchemist Guild has reported that Mr. Martin covered a shortage of .."
A knock came from the door.. Joral uttered passwords and the female out side responded properly..
Myrcella quietly drew a weapon as the door opened..
"This man has a delivery for the Prime Minister," A man with simple clothes under a Poncho. Wearing the blue field and one white star symbol, "Madam Prime minister.. The box contains a dress designed commissioned by Mr. Martin for this Ball.. A mask for the costume part.. All the Ambassadors.."
As the weapon quietly disappeared, "I see you wear the Pony Express MOS pin of the WCM's merchants guild.. " Reading the name tag, "Dexrg.."
The young man bows, "Yes Madam Prime Minister Greyjoy.. I will say this mam.. You are the only Ambassador let alone Foriegn leader, to recieve immediate delivery.. I was order directly to delivery this to you and no other orders till this was done.. Full premimum service. Mr. Martin has invited you to his private table.. I have a selection of our finest wines.. "
The man snapped his fingers and the guards let four male children each carrying a bottle, three little girls carrying a variety of flowers, a kid with a basket, and a man in the local dress of the personal servants walk into the area.
Myrcella shook her head and sighed another one attracted to my power..
"They all where checked Madam Prime Minister.." Joral laughed, "This one was smart and sent children from the local orphanage.."
Myrcella stood politely and reached for her bag.. she took out gold coin, "Little ones it is cute but.. Leave these with my personal assistant.. I will give each of you a gold coin as thanks.. You can buy.."
The closest little girl stepped back, "Sorry.. I mean my apologies mam.. "
Myrcella looked at all the children with their noses raised..
"Madam Prime Minister Greyjoy," Dexrg himself bowed his head in apology.. "We are not allowed to even accept tips.."
Putting the coins up, "Leave the items.. My schedule does not allow for me to stay for the Ball.. I am supposed to meet with.."
"Madam," Dexrg bowed his head.. "House Marshal Wilson sent these as an apology.. Lord Martin is in dispose overseeing this preplanning.. Rumor is he had another long night.. An issue with the seating mam.."
"Listen.. Tell the House Marshal that Madam Prime Minister has a tight schedule.. She made no plans to stay another night," Joral hand signaled the guards.
"You dont like the flowers.. I picked em out myself," The little girl was crying..
"I will take the flowers littleone," Madam Prime Minister smiled..
The children were smiling..
"They are very pretty like you," Myrcella shook her head.. Hiding her"Peachy Punto, cabrones.. Picuito..."
The children giggled and covered their mouths shocking the Prime Minister and Joral..
Myrcella looked over at Dexrg whose grin stretched from one side of his face to the other.. "How.. Tell me how you.. You recognize those words.. WHo told them to you.."
Joral intervened as myrcella had Dexrg by the shirt, "Madam Prime Minister.."
"She said a naughty word," The little girl smiled.. "Just like all the people from Castle Stewart.."
Myrcella let go of Dexrg.. "These words.. " Looking at the little girls name tag, "Noye, are their any other naughty words that those that work at Castle Stewart.."
"Mam," Dexrg was scared.. "I.. I.. Was told to answer any question you asked? Not so much words.. But.. Mam Mr. Martin apparently has a colorful vocabulary that is not.." Seeing a glare from Joral, " mother F#$%ing c#$ guzz ling gutt er sl#$s. But.. . Oh, Blad De Ell ! is the one that the common workers seem to be repeating after the do work at Castle Stewart.. Apparently Mr. Martin has taught it to the House master.."
Joral was instantly right next to Myrcella..
Closing her eyes whispering, "I.." Taking a deep breath, "Cancel all my travel plans.. Inform the Ambassador.."
"A matter of state has appeared," Joral calmly spoke..
"You could say that," Myrcella had a look cross her face as she caught the ring on her hand.. She closes her eyes and sighs..
