A powerful earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 7.7 struck southern Chile.
Tsunami warning issued for areas within 1,000 km of the epicenter of the quake.

Remember that thread that I had thrown into the hoax bin about the waves coming in from space? He said there would be a large EQ within a week after it hit Earth... and he was right!
