Teacher Caught On Audio Telling Students Their Parents Would Be Deported
#1
This is what we knew was going on and now there's actual proof:

Quote:A substitute physical education teacher at Bret Harte Preparatory Middle School at 9301 S. Hoover Street in South Los Angeles was recorded telling students that their parents would be deported – one day after Trump was elected.

“If you were born here, then your parents gotta go and they gonna leave you behind. You’ll be in foster care,” according to the recording made by one of the 6th-grade students.

They said he was a long-term substitute teacher at Bret Harte. At one point on the recording, a child asked the teacher a question.

Student: “How are they going to find me?”
Teacher: “I got your phone numbers, your address, your mama’s address, your daddy’s address. It’s all in the system, sweetie. And when they come and there’s an illegal, they gotta go!”

Glad he was fired but the damage is done.

Except that was Donald's platform....almost word for word. Should we now protect the kids from hearing the plans of our President? Thus creating a new generation of shielded "snowflakes"?

Tell them the truth, no matter how hard it will be. No different than any other president and their agendas. Don't hide the debt from our kids, the climate issues, the over-population problems, none of it. Let them have it.

I hate to bring this up again, but in the movie "Tomorrowland" there is a fantastic quote from the "bad guy" in the movie:

Quote:Nix: Let's imagine... if you glimpsed the future, you were frightened by what you saw, what would you do with that information? You would go to... the politicians, captains of industry? And how would you convince them? Data? Facts? Good luck! The only facts they won't challenge are the ones that keep the wheels greased and the dollars rolling in. But what if... what if there was a way of skipping the middle man and putting the critical news directly into everyone's head? The probability of wide-spread annihilation kept going up. The only way to stop it was to show it. To scare people straight. Because, what reasonable human being wouldn't be galvanized by the potential destruction of everything they've ever known or loved? To save civilization, I would show its collapse. But, how do you think this vision was received? How do you think people responded to the prospect of imminent doom? They gobbled it up like a chocolate eclair! They didn't fear their demise, they re-packaged it. It could be enjoyed as video-games, as TV shows, books, movies, the entire world wholeheartedly embraced the apocalypse and sprinted towards it with gleeful abandon. Meanwhile, your Earth was crumbling all around you. You've got simultaneous epidemics of obesity and starvation. Explain that one! Bees and butterflies start to disappear, the glaciers melt, algae blooms. All around you the coal mine canaries are dropping dead and you won't take the hint! In every moment there's the possibility of a better future, but you people won't believe it. And because you won't believe it you won't do what is necessary to make it a reality. So, you dwell on this terrible future. You resign yourselves to it for one reason, because *that* future does not ask anything of you today. So yes, we saw the iceberg and warned the Titanic. But you all just steered for it anyway, full steam ahead. Why? Because you want to sink! You gave up! That's not the monitor's fault. That's yours.

I say tell them all of it.

And if the President Elect holds true to his campaign and it works? Then we have something else to teach our kids. If not? We have something there as well.

If they are here illegally, that's their fault... they either need to register for a green card, or hit the road!
If the kids want to stay, then a family relative might take them in, otherwise, they can go with their parents... no one is stopping them.

We have to get a hold on the illegal immigrants coming in here, and so we have to do what we have to do.

When the message gets out that they might lose their kids, maybe they'll stop coming.

I agree with DFC, that some of the comments Trump made early on in his campaign, ran along those lines of deporting ALL illegals.
Trump since then has back peddled to say that he would not be splitting up families.

Now then, what I have a problem with where the substitute teacher is concerned.....

First of all, it would be different had he been a teacher say with History class, not a Physical Ed substitute teacher.
Nor did it appear to be "teaching" them but rather ranting or trying to scare them.

The way in which he went about it was almost fear mongering towards the 6th graders, telling them they would be sent to foster care.

That in my opinion is not being intellectual and having a serious discussion with a kid, but rather pushing fear/anxiety into them.
There is a right way to talk about this kind of stuff to a kid, and a wrong way.
That appeared to be most definitely the wrong way.

And when the parents of the youngsters complain being as the teacher scared them shitless about being parent-less & gonna be shipped off to live with strangers, think the sub-teacher crossed the line.

It sounded like he was trying to scare them more than educate them.
And one kid said "He’s just rubbing it in that Trump won. We already know that."

So then, what was the point to his rant, 'cause that is what it sounded like, not educating the students.

Besides, isn't that the parents place to talk to their children about such things?
Just saying...

Anyhow, even tho Trump has made slight changes to his previous comments about immigration (like not wanting to split families up), the MSM keeps rehashing his old comments instead.

Just like they made a new statement about Obamacare and how he would keep a couple of parts in there such as those that already have it will stay on it.
And young adults living at home can stay on their parents plan until they are 26.
(although when I was 18, that was when you moved out. LOL)

Yet the MSM keeps harping on about how the ones on ACA will be without it when Trump gets in there. sigh.
Guess it depends on which slant to give the article.

while trump said he would be deporting illegals, he never said he was putting together a door to door task force in order to look for them.. I always saw it as us (finally) beginning to actually deport illegals when they were found to be here illegally, whether that be when they were pulled over by a traffic cop, or when they commit a crime, or when they tried to get welfare etc. anything else would be nothing but a costly endeavor that would rile up the media and the liberals..no point in that, it's just not smart. Slowly but surely when no one's looking is the way to go.

As for this "splitting up familes" crap.. that's crap. I'm a mother.. you couldn't pay me to leave my kid alone in a foreign country for a foreign government to raise.. anyone who would is my definition of a bad parent.

Anyone who leaves their kids here alone.. are the ones splitting up their families same as if they had abandoned their children - because guess what? They did abandon their kids if they don't take them with them when they go back to their country of origin..The United States is stealing no one's kids nor forcing anyone to leave their children here..people knew the consequences of coming here illegally.. them abandoning their kids is on them.. Damn sure not on us.

That teacher is a left wing nut job who thinks scaring kids is fun.. he does not need to be a teacher ever again.. they need to remove his teaching license.

I'm a mean bastard, bu not mean enough to split up families. The illegals would have to go, of course - you don't reward someone for breaking the law... at least I've never gotten rewarded for it - but I'd give them 3 days to talk it out amongst themselves and figure out whether THEY wanted to split their family up or take their family with them.

Either way, the illegals got to go. Now, if the citizen family members elect to go with them, they can always come back whenever they want, and the illegal family members can come back when they've completed the requirements and paid a penalty for breaking the law in the first place.

But they can't do it from our soil.

In that, I stand with my legal immigrant friends, who are incensed that they had to go through the process and then along comes the illegal border crossers who just get a free pass for the same thing the legals worked so hard for. I'd be mad as hell, too, if I were in their shoes.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
