Denmark ethics council calls for tax on red meat to fight 'ethical problem' of climat
#1
Here is an interesting proposal for all the vegetarians and those who hate meat... Where all this will end no one knows but you got to give them credit.... if there is an untapped tax revenue; some government will figure out how to take it.

If the USA tried something like this I would bet Texas would say, "Up yours and the horse you road in on.. We are out of here "!

Quote:Denmark is considering proposals to introduce a tax on red meat, after a government think tank came to the conclusion that “climate change is an ethical problem”.

The Danish Council of Ethics recommended an initial tax on beef, with a view to extending the regulation to all red meats in future. It said that in the long term, the tax should apply to all foods at varying levels depending on climate impact.

The council voted in favour of the measures by an overwhelming majority, and the proposal will now be put forward for consideration by the government.

Yep, it is slowly happening

They are going to turn this so-called man made climate change into a "business'' by creating bogus taxes that both the companies and consumers will have to pay

BTW....how in the hell can they decipher how much CO2 is due to Man, versus what planet Earth and all the living creatures (plants/animals) put off naturally, as it has for millions and millions of years?
Plus volcano eruptions put off CO2 as well

And blaming people for the cattle being here putting off CO2, cause some like to eat meat, is just plum ludicrous!
Next they will be taxing leather goods such as belts, boots, walltets etc etc

See, it is a never ending story if you really think about what all is used in say cows alone
It sounds gross, but all parts on cows are used for something, even medicine

Man made global warming itself is a hoax
All it is designed to do is create more taxes and make people "fear" the end is near....pffft

It will hurt the consumers pocket book, all the while not doing a damn thing for the climate
