What about pesticides ? if large group of birds land down to same agricultural field to eat, and the crops are full of pesticides ?

I have doubts about pesticides, as I don't think they would affect all the birds at once, and if they did, there would be more of the flock die off instead of fly off. if you notice in the video, a fair number of the birds recover and fly away.

EMP is a potential, I reckon. Birds navigate through magnetic fields, and that could muck up their navigation, but would it act in such a way that not only did they not know which way is north, but neither know which way is up and down?

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
