Given the present situation/s, the 'White Supremacists' appear to be playing the part of a tapir in the squeezes of a wily boa constrictor.
Every time their protests and struggles start to annoy...the boa' lets off the squeeze a little...and they victoriously quiet down, 'til they realize that the reprieve was just a ploy to get them to relax more for the next squeeze.
And, at this rate, before those poor 'Supremacists realize what's happening, the end will be ringing their doorbells, looking for autographs.
Groundswell resistance lacks goals and focus. If the goal is immediate comfort, the end has already been written.
