The 4th of July
#4
I don't like unfinished stories, So.

It took me almost four months to regain my strength and most of my mobility. The coldness and hate I felt in my heart for those who had masterminded and then put in place this Socialist One World Feudal State is something that ate at my very soul with every breath I took.

Lisa and John were gone (along with many others) but not forgotten.

It was almost 5 years later before our rag tag group could gather the assets and develop a plan that would shake these bastards hard enough to make a difference.

Difference; maybe not really, because this new world order was now so intrenched and in power there was to much to lose or go down without every means at their disposal for strong resistance being utilized.

For me, I did not care, for I would not live under this system or be part of it.

Our Oath Keeper section along with the contacts of some of our well embedded people in the Socialist Security forces had helped in the planning.

The 6th annual meeting of the Supreme Council was to be held in Beijing, China with all the first down to the fifth level section chiefs and managers in attendance if history was followed. Last year there were over 65,000 of the creeps wining and dinning on the misery of the world.

The plan, which I had volunteered for, was to deliver two devices that should present a decent show for the few resistance fighters which remained scattered throughout the world.

The paperwork/orders that had been provided me said I was a test pilot for the Security forces and was assigned to a transportation section to test some of their remote sensors they were developing for areal recon.

Most of the airliners of the world had been grounded for populations remained for the most part in place; travel was very restricted. So the Security Forces had their pick of unused airliners to use for target practice or strip the seats out, add a cargo door and use as freight haulers. Many had been converted to be the eyes and ears of the Socialist State with state of the art sensors with communication intercept capabilities. They were all flown by security force pilots who had been selected for their age and willingness to fly for the force or die.

I arrived in Beijing via a Security Force Gulfstream 5 and was ushered to my temporary quarters by some very young, professionally hard, Chinese women. Once I was unpacked and settled into the room there was a knock at my door and a very tall older Chinese of some importance entered. Importance judging by all the medals and decorations he was wearing. His name was General Chin and he was my contact at the base.

He slipped me a big fat envelope while asking me how my flight was and would I be ready in a few days to start my work and update briefings on what I would be doing for the next few months. He also asked if I would want one or two pillow companions while I was staying in Beijing.

Chin Spoke better English than I did and by his mannerisms it was obvious the room was bugged; wasn't everyplace anymore?

I thanked him and gave him my best military salute while telling him I would be ready when he needed me and any pillow companions who liked foreign devils would always be appreciated in a few days for at the moment I was suffering from serious jet lag and just wanted to sleep.

He said he understood and hated to fly on long haul trips himself, and then he returned my salute and left the room.

According to plan he had a very nice military/corporate jet he was supposed to board and fly to another military base he was in control of.

I sat at the desk in my room and opened the thick envelope to read the paperwork inside. On page 12 was what I was looking for. There would be a Boeing 737 700 series Airliner N3761 loaded and ready to launch on ramp “C” at 03:00 this very night.

We were all concerned of being discovered before I could even launch so time was to valuable to waste.

The function an a schematic of the simple controls for the delivery of the packages was all there on page 13 while page 14 had a copy of my orders cut from the supreme Council themselves. No doubt a forgery but no one would question official looking paperwork with a proper stamp and seal.

I set my alarm and woke up at 01:00 showered and got dressed in my flight suit. I then went to the 24 hour cafeteria and was quite pleased to find they had coffee. I found and ate a rice soup that had chunks of some kind of mystery meat floating around and actually found it quite good.

I was the only foreign devil in the cafeteria yet other than the expected curious looks from some of the customers and obvious pillow companions everything was quite uneventful.

I arrived at the bird at 02:30 and boarded the aircraft. My first officer was in in his seat and insured me the bird had been pre-flighted and was ready to go. His English was also quite good.

We went thru the receiving aircraft checklist and were ready to start engines at 02:45. Chu called for engine start and we were cleared to start; the start of both engines was normal. We then received taxi clearance to runway 27 and as we taxied we finished the taxi check. We were almost to the runway when we were cleared for take off. The before take off checklist was completed as I made the 180 degree turn to take the runway. I added power to the 737 and as she was relatively light, the total of 54,000 pounds of thrust pinned us into our seats with the pure power of her high bypass engines.

Gear up, flaps up, as we departed the airport control zone. We then contacted departure control and they vectored us out of the traffic area. A short time later we were cleared to our fake test area.

The bird was only certified to 41,000 feet but that certification was due to being a passenger carrier and maintaining a cabin altitude of less than 10,000 MSL. We continued to climb and the bird did her best to get us to 48,760 feet before she really started letting us know we were at the stall buffet margin. We were 45 nautical North of Beijing and all I had to do was electronically arm the devices and hydraulically open the recently installed hardened doors to the cargo hold. As the doors opened they would pull the device sled toward the opening so that it could free fall. I descended back to 45,000 to give us a bit of an aerodynamic cushion and hit the button to open both doors after once again checking we had a tail wind of almost 165 knots.. The bird vibrated with the extra bit of drag and no doubt if the doors had not been hardened they would have been ripped off the aircraft. We were wearing our oxygen mask and had already donned our special darkened goggles but we both figured this was a one way ride no matter what we did.

The lat long coordinates said we were in the ball park so as they used to say in the old days, “Bombs Away”!

Chu looked at me before donning his goggles and both eyes were full of tears.

Beijing was still one of the most populated cities in the world and we had just killed millions to get to a few bastards who thought they could run the world without objection.

No doubt some would have been thankful for their release from the bondage of this feudal slave state while there were others who just wanted to live and love.

I started a left turn trying to pick up the chute's strobe lights and sure enough there they were.

Both devices were set to go off at 40,000 feet and would kill everything withing a radius of 140 nautical miles at that altitude. One device was enough but two was for extra added insurance. When the chain reaction for the neutron bomb released its' energy there was actually a shield that was supposed to direct the energy from 40,000 and below so that none of the energy would be wasted on trying to kill the stars. As long as we stayed above 43,000 we were supposed to be safe from the effects. We both had our doubts but at this point neither of us cared if our lives or millions of others were lost to get to the leaders of this new world order.

The strobes of the chutes disappeared in a rather bluish bubble which expanded out and down. Nothing dramatic just a bluish haze that grew and grew toward the ground.

If we survived we were suppose to head for a military airfield four hundred miles from our present location so I pointed the nose of our bird in the general direction as Chu programed the flight management computer. The flight path was programed and engaged so all we had to do for the nest few minutes was to ponder on what we had done.

All the hate and bitterness I had felt for these last 5 years was now a huge stone of sorrow in my heart. The Evil ones I had killed certainly deserved their fates but all the innocent lives which were also sacrificed would be hard for me to ever justify in my heart of hearts. Was it necessary, only an uncertain future would be the judge of that..

Last year the supreme Council's meeting had been in Mexico, City and the year before that in Rio de Janeiro. No matter where our attack was initiated, there would have been massive loss of life. For there were still those in industrial centers who were needed to operate the machines and manufacture goods for the needs of the state. Beijing didn't even have 12% of its' once 'busting at the seams' population but still millions would perish in these next few hours and days .

We flew directly to Jia Jing and Chu contacted RAPCON (radar approach control) and we were cleared to land. That was one of the benefits of using these devices. There was no big bang just everyone was bathed in a deadly very faint blue haze unless they were several feet below the surface. Otherwise, they died along with every other living creature in the area.

We landed without incident and as we exited our bird General Chin was there to meet us. Chu and I both saluted as the General asked if the test had gone as planned. I told him that the test had been completed but we would have to wait for the results. The old General hung his head and just said “Good”.

A new charter for our new one world government was made but it started with a bill of rights that was more or less lifted from America's very own bill of rights.

I remained in China and got to know the General's daughter. We were married three years later and have made our home next to his main residence. He is now the Director of all of China as he was voted into office two years ago. There is much work to be done if we are ever going to bring a full educational system back which passes people on merit not what connections they have. I can now speak conversational Mandarin Chinese which is no small feat for this foreign devil I assure you.

I work on anything the Director gives me and it really has been satisfying trying to build a global society based on 'fairness for all instead of the few'. By the way, that is our world motto.
