A tracked Submarine??

Something I have been thinking about is the possibility that the thing that left the tracks is a boring machine; the kind that is used to make tunnels around the world ? I do not know what it would take to make such a machine submersible and water tight but it could probably be done ?

Well, my husband sent me this article he said is true and he use to still have the Documents to prove it. But was force to destroy those document's in the late 80's due to an internal investigation into Agency Persons keep classified material for future use in a book or something.

Soviet tracked submersibles in Baltic, 1980s

  A spate of submarine incursions led to the suspicion that the Soviet Navy was operating tracked submersibles in Swedish waters. Track marks were found on the sea floor but the exact submarine(s) responsible has yet to surface. In the 1980s, Mana (Swedish naval intelligence: Marinens Ananlysgrupp) wrote a report which included several sketches of the tracks and hypothetical illustrations of the types of submarines which could have caused them. They suspected that Russian diesel-electric submarines (WHISKEY, FOXTROT and ZULU Classes were among those operated in the Baltic) operated as host submarines for smaller midget submarines and combat swimmers. Some of the midget submarines were believed to be responsible for the parallel track marks.

My Dear Wife ask me to reply.
That My Friend is the North Pole and the Soviets have been there for years, yes we did suspect they used their "Crawler/Mole" in the N. P. in areas that were rich in Gold and other precious metals.
That was back in the very late 70's and early 80's.
The American "Crawler" submarine was used for taping their underwater communication lines for their Military bases and other communications.


Okay, I am going back to cleaning weapons and lightly oiling rounds and magazines.
