Just like with a fire, there is always something that is left undestroyed.
With a global deadly plague, those saved by a vaccine will be members of a special class, known for the ID they are labeled with.
Those saved by natural immunity, or survived passing through the fire, will be outcasts. Probably some will be hunted.
I think I saw the movie????? Or did I read it in a book?
