Odd you should mention that. I conferred with some honest to God American Communists some time ago, and that was our conclusion as well for the only way to save America and prevent the mutual annihilation of one another here.

As it turned out, we and they were both in agreement that the Federal government had grown beyond it's remit. No one wanted to be ruled by an out-of-touch organization hundreds of miles removed from their local problems, which had no concept of those local problems by virtue of it's distance from them. The Communists did not want to be ruled by potential Libertarians and/or Conservatives in that position, and the Free Peoples did not want to be ruled by Marxists in that position, so that was a point we could all agree on.

We all decided that it would be better to put the Federal government back in it's place, and reduce it's power back to the limits that the Constitution placed on it - relations with foreign nations and settling disputed between states, mostly in matters of commerce between them, and nothing more. Then elimination of the Federal "enforcement" mechanism of withholding money to localities that did not go along with their program by simply not sending the Federal government such large chunks of our taxes that the feds could then withhold from sending back to us if we told them that one of the alleged laws or another were not going to be obeyed or enforced in our area.

It made no sense, to any of us, to send that money to the Central Government and then have them send it BACK to us if they so chose... why not just keep it local where it would do US good to begin with? Why send the money for OUR OWN ultimate benefit via that circuitous route? All that did was empower the Central government far beyond the restraints the Constitution placed upon it.

So, the first step was to restrict and shrink the Central Federal Government back to within the boundaries that had already been set for it a couple hundred years ago. No real change at the Federal level was needed beyond that.

After that, the States determined their own form of government themselves, the citizens deciding how they wanted to be ruled, rather than having far-away rule forced upon them by other states. In a sexual situation, that would be called "rape", yet it is allowed politically every day in America. None of us much cared for that, neither the Freedom faction nor the Marxist faction.

So, if, for example, California wanted to be Communist, let them. It's none of my business, because I don't live in California. That's not MY decision to make. If West Virginia or Florida wanted to be a Free Republic in government, let them. That was not my decision to make, nor was it California's decision, either. We did not live in WV or FL, so none of our business. That would be for the people of those areas to decide, not us.

Some things had to be mutually agreed upon, as they affected ALL states, and those things would be either under Federal control if they came to a dispute, or would be settled through conferencing between the affected states. Interstate trade is one of those areas. Commerce between states had to be allowed freely to maintain a healthy economy in all of them. Disputes would have to be resolved, rather than dictated. If, for example, California insisted on "cage free eggs", and Missouri, for example, did not want to go to the expense of providing them, there were a couple of choices. Those two states could come to an agreement as regards egg production, or else California was under no obligation to get their eggs from MO, and MO was still free to sell their eggs elsewhere.

Free flow of commerce would necessarily have to be guaranteed by all states in order to facilitate commerce between states that were not necessarily adjoining. Kentucky or Illinois could not create legislation that would block transport of goods from Missouri to Virginia that had to travel in their territory, for example.

Free travel of citizens between states would also have to be guaranteed. If someone decided they did not want to be a citizen of a Marxist state like California (we all, Marxists and non-Marxists alike simply assumed California would become Marxist), then California could not prevent them from escaping and moving to another state more to their liking.

None of these things, however, would be under CONTROL of the federal government. They would instead be resolved through dispute management, perhaps MEDIATED by the Federal government, but not DICTATED by it, and that is an important distinction.

No more Federal Income Tax. The Feds would be funded via import taxes and perhaps interstate commerce taxes, but at a much lower rate than they currently extract from us. They simply would not need that much money in their proper role, after they had been restrained back to the boundaries first placed upon it 200 odd years ago. State and local governments would set their own tax rates. Don't like yours? Move to one you do like.

There was more, but you get the idea. it was the ultimate expression of States Rights and limited Federal government, just as the Founders intended... and, believe it or not, all the conferees, Marxist and non-Marxist alike, agreed upon it. Everyone got what they wanted, and got more control over their own affairs, and less control over other folks' affairs. See, gaining control over your own affairs necessitates removing "foreign" control of them. No one can have TWO masters.

Something to think about. It IS a "Balkanization" of sorts, but under a protective agreement between the states, and with a lot less Federal government micromanaging local folks' lives.

.

Excellent point`s all what you writed and i have to to agree on it. Let people and different States choose a way of living, and without huge Federal government. Biden will not like the concept thought i think, he wants total control, a totalitarianism...

The military industrial complex could get smaller budget in case of Balkanization, so i doubt they are not happy with the concept either, and same could be with medical industrial complex...

But the other option , starting to fight , civil war, all sort of violence, false flags etc is worse choise...countrys that get in to serious domestic instability/conflicts get things usually to very bad , worse...

Not sure what is the situation in Canada...I guess many there are not happy either how things are going there with goverment bullying with covid .

Well it`s not really so good here either, In Finland....Goverment look`s more like communist and are terrorizing people with covid , together with the MSM....I dont like this bs what they do here. So things are bad Worldwide... tinyshocked
