These cops seem to me to be a bunch of Keystone Kops. Not my call on whether they should do time, but they sure as hell should never work again as cops.

i've beenĀ  told by quite a few police officers that's it's a common practice to remove a combative/ resisting suspects from the car for the suspects protection or to place them in hobble or wrap restraints, or to prevent them from bang their heads against the doors or shields between the front and back seat, kick windows out and cut themselves, and if there are actual or a possibility of life threatening circumstances it is easier for responding emt's to access them outside the car.
